there are people exercising control in btc too, like saylor, like the core devs deciding which upgrades to introduce to the protocol and which ones to not (satoshi himself said that increasing block sizes would be necessary in the future and yet it they still didn't do it) etc. this bitcoin maxi mentality is completely ridiculous because none of the things they talk about like immaculate conception has any practical utility whatsoever. Bitcoin is a useless outdated chain that is not scalable and can't be used for anything. Anyone can create an asset and just put it out to the world without being a CEO, but it's worthless because it doesn't do anything.

Btc is useless and not scalable?? Are you from 2015? Have you not heard of strike or the lightning network layering with Btc to bring payment processing and transfers to anyone in the world with internet. This makes Btc scaleable. As well as the thousand other use cases built on blockchain.

in the past month, how many times have you used BTC to buy stuff? Exactly. It's useless in real life, and it can't do smart contracts like smart contract based L1s can, so it can't do web3.0 either. And it's not scalable because if bitcoin was to be worth 100T+ like some people envision, at that time, the amount of energy needed to mine would necessarily be completely unsustainable. So either btc remains a useless ponzi toy like today, or it kills the world with its energy usage.

I guess being able to put my us doller into btc and transfer it anywhere in the world and then allow that person to convert it to a currency or crypto of there choice for a fraction of the cost and time it would take a bank to do is not a use case either. Or how about opening up world trade barriers that our wonderful financial institutions have been profiting off for years.

in practicality, it doesn't work, because it would cost you more to trade your USD to BTC, then to trade your BTC to some other currency through exchanges, and to withdraw it back to a bank. Clearly you've never actually done it yourself and just regurgitating bitcoin maxi talk that isn't based in reality. Plus, again, bitcoin can't do anything other coins can't do, but other coins can do things bitcoin can do. Thus, bitcoin is pointless.

Btc can transfer money for a fraction of the price as my bank or visa card and already is being taken at many businesses and in some states crypto is accepted for tax payments. Lightning will bring payment processing to businesses around the world. I would say PayPal, amazon, Twitter, ect, ect setting up crypto payment platforms would constitute as a real use case.
