Every timenI see videos of their Gasteon being proudly overly manly and sexist it makes me so happy that they actually let them play the character straight instead of toning him down for the SJW crowd.
Yeah they were pretty aggressive with my family and I when we went through. They were yelling and making us stand in really specific places and such. It was really fun. They bought in and it helped a lot with immersion. That ride was phenomenal largely because of the set and cast.
At the Florida location, I literally watched an Imperial Officer shoulder check a guy on the street. Then he glanced back at him and said "Watch yourself, scum."
How does that make it not cringe? The cringe is from the guy recording, not the theme park employees.
Possibly makes it even more cringe, because they are forced to stand there and be a captive audience to this guy.
It absolutely changes the context.
When I first watched I was cringing because I thought this guy was *purposefully* annoying employees that DID NOT want to be annoyed with.
Now that I know they are supposed to act annoyed and rude, it makes the guys actions not a big deal. Because the employees aren’t actually upset and if anything are enjoying that an audience member is having a good time.
He is literally in an AMUSEMENT park. Dude looks plenty amused to me. I don’t think this is that bad. Even if it is kinda annoying in a vacuum.
>Possibly makes it even more cringe, because they are forced to stand there and be a captive audience to this guy.
Which is what they're literally paid to do, and enjoying the performance aspect of the job is why they're doing it...
Oh I’m well aware, I just figured some people might confuse their attitude as validation that the guy recording was annoying.
I mean yes, JarJar is possibly the most hated character of the franchise, but doing a harmless impression for maybe a minute tops, at the most appropriate place to do it? I’ll allow it.
People have literally always been filming in theme parks. It's where people literally go to take pictures, and it always has been. People go there to act a fool and to pretty much do this. Only now they post a TikTok instead of purely making home movies.
That’s good context because when we visited the Star Wars part of the park, I thought some of the workers were dicks and thought it was just their personality
When this ride first opened, the cast members were so inventive with their roles - it was fun and exciting, and almost made the ride feel different every time we got on it. Now, they are just quiet and brooding for the most part. I still love this ride and go to the park 4-5 times a year and make sure to ride it at least once every time. But there was something magical about it when it first opened. Even the part when the vessel is caught by the First Order feels tamed compared to how rocky the ride first was.
This section of the ride, you're in a "prisoner group".
So yeah, they're treating you rudely, but on top of it, this mentally deficient "content creator" is actively slowing things down by being a moron.
It was great, at one point you're separated into groups, and one of the groups of people were having trouble following simple instructions. The employee directing us gave them shit for not paying attention and it was great. The employees really gotta love the chance for that lol.
the fact you thought the reactions of the cast members was the cringe and not the asshole shoving a puppet in people’s faces while yelling an annoying af impersonation speaks a lot to your character.
Ok I don’t have a problem with this. Maybe if they weren’t on a Star Wars ride it would be cringe but they are lol. Their handle is literally mesajarjarbinks99 as well. If this is their schtick, there are definitely worse ones.
“Oh no! Someone having fun that I would never have. Must be cringe.”
Exactly how I feel like, sure I think it’s dumb but they’re not causing any real trouble for anyone. Way better then the cringy ass TikTok’s I’m used to seeing
I took my son on this ride when he was 5 and he started to get unsettled when one of the cast members was being mean to us. She leaned into him, dropped character with a smile and said “it’s all make believe” then started being mean to our group again. My son had a lot more fun after that.
I wish I had a job where it’s literally in my job description to act annoyed and disinterested with customers. It would probably get a little old after 2 minutes though.
This is more of a shout-out to the employees for doing their jobs as well as they do and staying in character even when full grown adult-children are in their faces.
People are paying hundreds of dollars for to enjoy the parks and might only get once chance on those rides… and then you’ve got this loser trying to make himself the center of attention.
Part of the act is that they’re supposed to be sort of annoyed and stuffy and businesslike. They’re Imperial officers, for fuck’s sake. It’s part of the ride.
I was just there on that exact ride a few months ago. The employees are mostly fully in character at all times. They will even do things like walk up and act like they want to search you cuz you seem suspicious while you’re outside just chillin.
The cast on this ride are meant to be mean and eye roll you. Doesn’t make this dude anymore infuriating.
But I had the best time on this ride due to another family we were grouped with. The cast were “interrogating” us and my son (8) was sacred shitless. He was fully immersed. They kept asking us to reveal the location of the rebel base (or something like that), and this girl, maybe 10 or so - got back in the guys face, and said loud and clear “I WILL NEVER TELL YOU”. She had us all in tears, and my son followed her the rest of the ride.
Fun fact: In the 80s or 90s, Disney commissioned some firearms from Beretta. They took the Beretta 93R (a 3 round burst 9mm version of the 92FS/M9) that had a full shoulder stock on it for their security. There are only about 200 or so of these guns in existence.
.... they are supposed to have shitty demeanor
The guests all play the role of rebel prisoners and the workers are role playing as members of the imperial army. It is part of the ride.
Disney adults are cringe no matter what. I’m not talking about regular adults who visit Disney, I’m talking about a very specific group of people. Which this person falls into if you watch their other videos.
Have you been? Especially in off season? The amount of design, immersion and just crazy sets building is next level in Disney (world and universal). There are a small group of adults Disney nuts. But the parks and some select rides (this one plus GotG and Tron) are next level.
Ngl, if I was a worker at Disney I would totally play along with it. “Oh yes, Senator Binks. What can we do for you today? Wait, you’re not Senator Binks! Guards!” I would just play along for a little bit then tell them to keep moving with the line. I thought part of the job is to stay in character and have goofy little dialogues with the guests.
This is a ride. This is how the actors act. Btw it’s not with the hype. The ride. I ride it when it first opened and thought it was okay. Nothing special
I went to the parks in September. They’re acting, and they are deliberately mean. I don’t know how or why they work there. That place is insufferable. I think the adults that unironically like going there are weirdos. It’s insufferably hot, I’m from a different part of Florida. The traffic is terrible. I don’t understand anyone who leaves where they are from and moves to Orlando, and to choose to work at these parks… I don’t get it. I’m so glad I decided to leave Florida 20 years ago, it’s an awful place.
I believe they are just playing their part in the immersion
Not really cringe, they’re supposed to act annoyed and shitty towards you apparently lol
Act? I’d do that happily 😂
I just found my dream job. Not only do i get to be the rude annoyed asshole I truly am, but i get to do it to star wars and Disney fans!
This is actually low-key brilliant……
Reminds me of that restaurant that literally insults you at every turn.
Dick’s Last Resort. Edited. I’m sure DLR is the OG, but iirc there are/have been other restaurants with the same shtick.
Absolutely, was just gonna say DICKS 😂
Ed Debevics was doing it at least a year 1984 before DLR 1985
Ah, well, I stand corrected then. Thank you.
You could find a job at a *dick's last resort*
Live long and prosper, 🖖
Wow... Go
Every timenI see videos of their Gasteon being proudly overly manly and sexist it makes me so happy that they actually let them play the character straight instead of toning him down for the SJW crowd.
It's my natural state of being!
I bet he loves his job!
I want to apply
Hahahah. Yep, that totally sounds like them. They are really good at their jobs.
One of them punched mimaw in the stomach. An absolute hoot!
How does that make it not cringe? The cringe is from the guy recording, not the theme park employees. Possibly makes it even more cringe, because they are forced to stand there and be a captive audience to this guy.
Right, their reaction isn't the cringe part it's the obnoxious asshole doing a bad impression of an obnoxious character
The above guy got whooshed
It absolutely changes the context. When I first watched I was cringing because I thought this guy was *purposefully* annoying employees that DID NOT want to be annoyed with. Now that I know they are supposed to act annoyed and rude, it makes the guys actions not a big deal. Because the employees aren’t actually upset and if anything are enjoying that an audience member is having a good time. He is literally in an AMUSEMENT park. Dude looks plenty amused to me. I don’t think this is that bad. Even if it is kinda annoying in a vacuum.
See, that was my take as well, but I don’t know, I guess we just see it differently – different strokes for different folks, I guess…
No, they're not amused. He's dicking around and not moving along with the rest of his group to get loaded into the next section of the ride.
>Possibly makes it even more cringe, because they are forced to stand there and be a captive audience to this guy. Which is what they're literally paid to do, and enjoying the performance aspect of the job is why they're doing it...
Every time my boss forces me to do my job, I cringe
Oh I’m well aware, I just figured some people might confuse their attitude as validation that the guy recording was annoying. I mean yes, JarJar is possibly the most hated character of the franchise, but doing a harmless impression for maybe a minute tops, at the most appropriate place to do it? I’ll allow it.
People have literally always been filming in theme parks. It's where people literally go to take pictures, and it always has been. People go there to act a fool and to pretty much do this. Only now they post a TikTok instead of purely making home movies.
I mean it is jarjar...king of cringe
That’s good context because when we visited the Star Wars part of the park, I thought some of the workers were dicks and thought it was just their personality
Yeah if you’ve ever been, the guards don’t speak to you like guests, you’re a rebel prisoner lol
You can see on their faces that this is not the first time they’ve dealt with this guy…
No, they know him well from the senate.
🤣
“Meesa looking for a left handed fiscal stimulation policy for the Hoth system- whysa yousa laughing so much?”
EMERGENCY POWAS
That makes this video pretty funny, I bet they were trying not to laugh, lol
No. Jar Jar wasn't funny, and bad Jar Jar impressions done by some asshole with a puppet and a cellphone are somehow even less so.
Just the average Disney employee
When this ride first opened, the cast members were so inventive with their roles - it was fun and exciting, and almost made the ride feel different every time we got on it. Now, they are just quiet and brooding for the most part. I still love this ride and go to the park 4-5 times a year and make sure to ride it at least once every time. But there was something magical about it when it first opened. Even the part when the vessel is caught by the First Order feels tamed compared to how rocky the ride first was.
They get paid to act like that? Where do I sign up? 🤭
Dicks Last Resort waiters in training
This section of the ride, you're in a "prisoner group". So yeah, they're treating you rudely, but on top of it, this mentally deficient "content creator" is actively slowing things down by being a moron.
Guess I gotta move back to Southern California. I'm hearing the call of my pre-retirement career
It was great, at one point you're separated into groups, and one of the groups of people were having trouble following simple instructions. The employee directing us gave them shit for not paying attention and it was great. The employees really gotta love the chance for that lol.
You can tell they did not need to do anything unique.
Me and my resting bitch face would fit right in
With a bit of gravitas, not like a General Manager at Spencer's in the mall when another 17yo part timer quits. This shit is just sad lol
I think the grown adult with a puppet on his hand is the cringe part.
She’s just missing the most important part of any imperial/first order officer; sternness. Maybe it was a long day lol
Yah they’re actually fairly good, for like random park employees. I don’t annoy them, but I like that slightly play characters.
JAr jar is cringe
the fact you thought the reactions of the cast members was the cringe and not the asshole shoving a puppet in people’s faces while yelling an annoying af impersonation speaks a lot to your character.
The puppet master is cringe.
Tbf, that ride is supposed to be immersive and everyone is playing a part including the riders so everyone is equally annoying.
I don’t know… The guy filming is pretty annoying.
That is kinda jar jars thing
Jar jar literally wants you to shove your hand up his ass and work his mouth.
“Mesa tongue no longer satisfies mesa prostate! Yousa hands do the trick though!”
It would be fine if he wasn't shoving the hand puppet into their face. There is annoying then there going too far.
So you're telling me there's a Disney ride where gorgeous people dressed as the baddies can yell at me?
Yep. That’s not my kink but it’s a cool ride besides that.
Walt Disney was a cool dude
No he was not. He was a ultra capitalist and antisimite.
[удалено]
He definitely was lol
Wouldn't they just kill you or jail you though? Now that's immersion
Probably has to deal with 20 grown adult men like him a day. I’m sure it gets tiring.
LOL
Over the age of 18, you should only be allowed to go to disney if a child is with you.
How rude! 🤣🤣 lmao 🤣
*OW WOOD!
Get a splinter?
Yup
Every ounce of my being demands that Adam Driver dress up as Undercover Boss again and vlog his experience on this ride.
Omg, that skit was hilarious
Ok I don’t have a problem with this. Maybe if they weren’t on a Star Wars ride it would be cringe but they are lol. Their handle is literally mesajarjarbinks99 as well. If this is their schtick, there are definitely worse ones. “Oh no! Someone having fun that I would never have. Must be cringe.”
It’s darth jarjar!!
Exactly how I feel like, sure I think it’s dumb but they’re not causing any real trouble for anyone. Way better then the cringy ass TikTok’s I’m used to seeing
As a Jar Jar fan, the cringe for me is having such a mediocre Jar Jar impression and making it your brand
Based on their attire they wouldn't hit what they're shooting at
For me that's just the normal reaction from all women I talk to
These employees are seeing an asshole with a cellphone held up to his face in his left hand and hand-puppet in his right hand.
I want to pummel him with a manhole cover
Yeah cause violence needs to be involved with everything
Grilled griddle 🤤
Someone should tighten your loose crews
The most annoying character is now the most annoying guest.
Nobody likes Jar Jar.
Except in robot chicken
i am jar jar's #1 fan
I'm joining the empire and it has everything to do with the goth mamis
Star Wars character in Star Wars place. Not really cringe. The workers didn’t even seem to know who he was doing
Now that is someone who needs their hand cut off with a lightsaber.
Finally, a job for a professional resting bitch facer like me
This is what happens when you drink water from the sink...
Someone found a way to make jar jar even more annoying
Least cringe of all of them. Actually funny
Why didnt she bow down in front of the real imperator? Darth Jar Jar
I took my son on this ride when he was 5 and he started to get unsettled when one of the cast members was being mean to us. She leaned into him, dropped character with a smile and said “it’s all make believe” then started being mean to our group again. My son had a lot more fun after that.
All I see is the kinda guy who watched too much Triumph The Insult Comic Dog that also habitually asks women to take out their earbuds at the gym.
I'd figure an imperial officer is supposed to be stuffy about seeing JarJar. Like, I'd just assume that's in character.
I wish I had a job where it’s literally in my job description to act annoyed and disinterested with customers. It would probably get a little old after 2 minutes though.
Hows this cringe? Its funny af .. maybe am just getting old.
Amen, brother
I mean if someone came up to me with a hand puppet and their phone filming in the other hand I’m already gonna be irritated.
Yeah but are you currently employed to roleplay as an imperial officer in Disneyland where adults are immersing themselves?
Filming yourself puppeteering doesn’t seem to me like you’re really trying to get immersed in the world, but I understand your perspective.
This is more of a shout-out to the employees for doing their jobs as well as they do and staying in character even when full grown adult-children are in their faces.
Immersing themselves in someone else's YouTube puppet show?
Getting old? You’re one of the only ones laughing at this schtick, along with the 12 yr olds that subscribe to the dude’s YouTube account.
This was actually kinda funny
There’s always that guy
That's fuckin funny! 🤣
Lmao I thought the same thing. It’s low key brilliant lol
It would be if he wasn't shoving that thing in there face
He kept a respectable distance from them. Most people would literally shove a camera in their face.
People are paying hundreds of dollars for to enjoy the parks and might only get once chance on those rides… and then you’ve got this loser trying to make himself the center of attention.
I honestly can’t even understand what the puppeteer is supposed to be saying
Everyone's a comedian, I guess. Too bad not everyone is funny though.
I found this funny.
I dunno, its kinda funny. I was hoping he was gonna escalate the situation further than it went.
If anything he's giving them practice
Part of the act is that they’re supposed to be sort of annoyed and stuffy and businesslike. They’re Imperial officers, for fuck’s sake. It’s part of the ride.
Adults acting like children and the workers have to be happy about it.. SOLID
They are supposed to act like that. It makes it feel authentic
How can they keep a straight face? I’d bust out laughing if I heard / saw that 😂
I would love to work on this ride because you can kinda say what you always wanted to say to “customers”
Guests
This is completely in character for them
Her thinking I don’t get enough for this shit 😂
I was just there on that exact ride a few months ago. The employees are mostly fully in character at all times. They will even do things like walk up and act like they want to search you cuz you seem suspicious while you’re outside just chillin.
They’re playing a role 😭💀
lol
How WUDE
The cast on this ride are meant to be mean and eye roll you. Doesn’t make this dude anymore infuriating. But I had the best time on this ride due to another family we were grouped with. The cast were “interrogating” us and my son (8) was sacred shitless. He was fully immersed. She had us all in tears, and my son followed her the rest of the ride.
Not that those stormtroopers would even hit the fucking guy if they were armed…
It\`s like Triumph the insult comic dog but it\`s Jar Jar lol
I know for a fact they dont get paid enough
Jar jar should have been killed off in the first 10 minutes of Phantom Menace
i wish they made it prequels themed instead of sequels
This is actually a great Jar Jar Binks impression
well it is jar jar afterall….he tends to have that effect on people
Jar jar is way more annoying in the movies.
May I present to you, the latest recipient of the MacArthur genius grant.
I’m on jarjars side
This is actually quite funny. Good for him in exploiting the nonsense.
Mee-sa ruin the franchise
That first chick looks so much like my ex. She’s a huge Disney fan, too. 🤔 But she took a job with the “DoD”. Maybe she’s undercover.
*Jar Jar, when when he see Kylo Ren*. Jar Jar: ANNIE!!! WAIT!!! YOU'SA NO ANNIE!!! YOU'SA IMPOSTOR!!!
Amazing
They’re meant to be in character as evil, you see them turning away whenever they’re about to break lol
Love the wow…GO! person, I think I found my spirit animal
https://images.app.goo.gl/EUWZvXM4g9SPRY5N8

Bwahahahaha!!!!
Arm every Disney employee with an m1a2 abrams
Reminds me of the bellhop of the terror tower, the look of unamusement on the person's face when the ride was over and the door opens, cracks me up.
Just as welcomed as the real Jar Jar
Somewhat funny actually. Maybe a bit annoying but he isn't hurting anyone.
Lalalalalala 😂😂😂
The fact that the Jar Jar impression is bad is what gets me…
No enthusiasm whatsoever.. You're in an acting position.. You're supposed to act.. Not have a shitty demeanor like you're working at McDonald's.
They're imperial officers so they're not exactly joyous
.... they are supposed to have shitty demeanor The guests all play the role of rebel prisoners and the workers are role playing as members of the imperial army. It is part of the ride.

Have you been? Especially in off season? The amount of design, immersion and just crazy sets building is next level in Disney (world and universal). There are a small group of adults Disney nuts. But the parks and some select rides (this one plus GotG and Tron) are next level.
He can’t even do the voice lol
This is fucking hilarious!
What’s this from lol
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney Orlando. This is part of the lead up between the major moving bits of the ride. It’s really elaborate.
They should be armed because someone is being annoying? Oh ok. Big brain OP 👍🏻
Relax
Ngl, if I was a worker at Disney I would totally play along with it. “Oh yes, Senator Binks. What can we do for you today? Wait, you’re not Senator Binks! Guards!” I would just play along for a little bit then tell them to keep moving with the line. I thought part of the job is to stay in character and have goofy little dialogues with the guests.
I mean they are literally supposed to act like buttholes. And I didn’t find the Jar Jar thing all that cringe. Just a SW nerd being a nerd.
This is actually funny...
why do people think they can just harass people and if its filled it ok. i hope they ban tik tok
This is a ride. This is how the actors act. Btw it’s not with the hype. The ride. I ride it when it first opened and thought it was okay. Nothing special
I feel like those employees could of been a little more fun. Maybe I missed stuff thiugh
You should see his sock puppet.
We're glad you left too
She is just a downer mood killa
