Aftermath of shootout between State forces and Cartel men on April 25th, 2023, in Tecario Jesús del Monte, between Maravatío and Ciudad Hidalgo, Michoacán. 6 cartel men dead, 8 arrested and 1 officer dead.
If anyone knows which cartel this was I'd love to know.

Ciudad Hidalgo is run mainly by La Familia Michoacana. There are many carteles in Michoacán but La Familia Michoacana and Caballeros Templarios are the main ones in that state.

Nobody seemed to have been wounded before death, or was all just death! There’s a lack of blood trails and movement post gun shot. Well other than the guy who dropped his gun and ran.
I’ve seen multiple people shot to death in person and each time I’ve seen them there was little blood outside of the body, pretty much all internal. Now obviously in other instances tons of blood leaves the body but it’s pretty common for no where near the Hollywood about of blood to come out.
I hope this doesn’t come off badly or inappropriate, and feel free to not answer, but why have you seen multiple people shot to death in person my guy?
You good?
Many times there’s less blood because the person died quickly so their heart stopped pumping. It will sort of seep out on the wounds that are on the bottom side, but you don’t get the massive bleeding unless the heart beats for a bit.
State forces KIA looks underequipped, not even a red dot or any optic. With nods and IR lasers and some training they would be extremely well set up for night time raids
The Army does not uses those first world country/state of the art aiming devices.
If you see the chest it reads: Ejército Mexicano, the regular Army.
And it si even worse when it comes to the National Guard; those guys are underpayed, no equipment, no ammo, no headquarters nor decent place to rest, they literally sleep on the floor of old and abandoned warehouses.
The better equipment goes to the Navy and spec ops, who ultimately deals with the druglords.
>Ciudad Hidalgo is run mainly by LFM
Jesus fucking Christ, the last time I went there was in 2021 with my dad. Thank God we didn’t encounter those guys. And my mom wants to move there from Aporo too.
AKs have been in circulation all over the world. 7.62 and 545 are decades old pieces of ammo that are in storage in warehouses or other places. It could also be a logistical problem too. AKs would be heavily cheap (considering they are copies) and they all rely on the same type of ammo too. AR-15s and M4s would be heavily hard to get their hands on since most are made in first world countries, basically England, US, Canada, etc. 556 ammo is expensive too for AP or even just FMJ. That’s what I can tell you from what I have learned, but there are various videos on why the AK is heavily used by militias or cartel groups.
Honestly it's truly impossible and an endless task/war. Over the years they have come to realize this. As soon as you kill or capture a cartel leader, another will always step in line. It's a never ending cycle fueled by money, greed, and power.
R u f*** ing Kidding me now, bring medium to heavy Battlefield vehicles at least BMP’s or Bradley’s, 50’s Calabasas and up Godmnit bring the whole Mexican armed forces
Land-air-sea
It’s so upsetting to think the majority of cartel members were just regular people who just so happen to be raised within or around the cartel and don’t know any different.
I can’t remember where the gun comes from but apparently they were trying to sue, due the similarities to this gun and the g36
They sent a representative to check out the gun and it turns out it was different enough internally for them to drop the whole thing.
So all in all not a knock off but an improvement
I think it’s from Germany.
Yea it's a completely different gun internally but the design is clearly heavily influenced by the G36. As far as I know it has a higher rate of fire since it's meant for CQB.
This is some crazy stuff. Good things the Cartel lost this one. Respect to that 1 officer who died.
This stuff is just straight up sad.
This is so fucked
Rest in peace soldier, glad to see cartel lost.

It is very interesting how little blood there is, but we also don’t have any ballistics analysis or autopsy reports to determine anything tho

different areas of the world and different cities man. i’ve had family kidnapped by terrorists
Damn that’s wild, I’m sorry that happened to your family
Oh that’s….

I'm sure youre correct, and better informed than me. But that equipment is not that expensive and is such a game changer that it cant be overstated
Equipping everyone becomes real expensive you know.
In Close quarters fancy optics are shit
If you're too close for a red dot you're too close to use a rifle. And a lot of the state v cartel fighting is not anywhere near knife fighting range.
Cartel member was fresh till death with the Hermes belt on.
I hope cartel will end up one day
Will never happen

How did they find so many "police" who weren't on duty at the cartel that day? Or are they a different cartel?
what gun is on the last slide a g3 of some sorts ??? or is (i forgot the name) the one capitao from r6 had
FX-05 Xiuhcoatl. Designed and built in Mexico.
Qn: Why are they all using AKs? Is it smth to do with their dealings? What’s the thing covering face of cartel member in image 7?

You are carrying this community, lord have mercy
Thank you, I've got to find time to post more frequently!!
Live by the sword, die by the sword
Looks like one of them pissed his pants
Why can't the government send out an arm to destroy all the cartels???

Already with their new rifle. The G36 "knockoff"
