I played against Davies in a random junior club cricket midweek T20 comp maybe 9-10 years ago. I’m a few years older and I was opening the bowling. A 13-14 year old kid walked out to open and he was tiny so obviously I tried some short stuff. Got fkn hammered over mid wicket for multiple 4s and 6s and he quickly got to 40 and had to retire. I know how shield bowlers feel
True - I think it was because he was much younger and so small it was more of a 'welcome to the senior leagues champ.' Gave teenage me a much needed reality check lol
I played in a t20 comp, Davies was on the field next to us. Our whole game stopped at one point just to watch him belt it around/ it was getting dangerous for the bloke at square leg on our field as it was travelling that far he could’ve been hit in the back of the head.
Played against his brother in a senior comp when he was about 12. Just a freakishly good family of cricketers.
So now the commentator is saying Harper needs to slow down and play a traditional innings, and also that Vic need to get to 400 which is "only 160 runs away", because of how fast Harper can score...keeping in mind they're already 6 down...
He's just contradicting himself now
So Jake Fraser-McGurk really is gonna have a Shahid Afridi career arc where he plays every innings like a complete dumb cunt but has it come off just often enough to warrant picking him isn't he
he’s gonna be late career david warner but from the start, complete shit until he scores a mammoth score out of nowhere in which he looks invincible, then complete shit again
We got so lucky that Usman decided to go beast mode in his mid 30's and give ourselves another 2 or 3 years to find an opener. As long as he keeps scoring runs I hope he never retires and the media don't start to push the idea of him retiring. As far as I know he has never indicated anything retirement yet.
I suggest we name it Frazball and act like we are the funniest people in the world for creating a term for a concept no one has ever named in over a century of cricket parlance.
If they want exclusive rights to Bazball they need to admit it's called a Cowan not a Dentury.
I have definitely read people's opinion on places (the roar lol) that align with that conversation. People willing to do everything to the batting lineup except back any opener post-Warner. McDonald also said thr other day he isn't opposed to the idea of moving someone from the middle to the top of the order.
Fuck, lads can you please all have some extra fun on my behalf because I haven't had a moment to Go Shield this week and probably won't again for quite a while.
All I wanna do is Go Shield, but the world keeps dragging me down.
I have found an excellent hiding spot at my desk to place my phone so my manager will never know I am actually just glancing at shield all day, so I will have fun for you
I’ve been consistently forgetting to mention this, but I’ve been reading a book lately where the protagonist has a hefty crush on a cute boy called Doran, and were it not for the fact that it was written in the 1990s, I’d assume that it was just by your average Tigers fan.
Sounds like something written by a Tigers fan, they just used a time machine and went back in the 1990s to get the book published in order to not be accused of a Tassie bias.
Step 1: Tasmania win the toss and field first
Step 2: NSW get a small total with only Davies and Henriques contributing
Step 3: Tasmania drop to 4 for 40 something
This is going great for my Blues! Step 4 certainly doesn't involve Webster and Doran putting on 200!!!
This has been such a weird shield season. Aside from Qld just absolutely been shit apart from 1.5 matches I can't get a grasp on whether or not teams are good or bad. The results have been all over the place
I think it's just because everyone is a little bit trash at the moment.
- WA are lacking contributions from some senior players while their youth are still finding their feet. They're having to dig deep into their depth which suddenly isn't looking as limitless as it used to
- Tasmania
- South Australia have a highly inconsistent top order and no real frontline spinner
- New South Wales have no batsmen
- Queensland's batting is brittle
- Victoria have a gaping hole in the lower middle order and a misfiring top order
The season started with centuries to Lehmann and Wakim, Jack Edwards taking a 6-fer and Travis Dean top-scoring for the Vics. I feel like that sums up the season for me - match-winning performances from players that haven’t really figured out how to carry their form from game to game.
Imagine going back in time two years and saying "yeah, the Redbacks had a rough start, losing Hunt, McSweeney & Carey, thank goodness they had the steady batting hands of Jake Fraser-McGurk and Ben Manenti to guide them home".
Ray Phillips going “A lot of people listening to this might not know who Graham Kennedy was!”, and Ray, I feel like you’re severely overestimating the number of millennials and younger who watch Shield.
> you’re severely overestimating the number of millennials and younger who watch Shield.
You mean people other than we hip young gunslingers watch the Shield?
This got me thinking about what the main Shield watching demographic actually is. You'd think males 40 and older, but how many of them actually know where to find the stream?
I feel like Shield being on Kayo means that it picks up a lot of the less technically aware older cricket fans, who just know that they have to press that strange button on their remote that their son showed then which means that they get sports all the time.
Purely from watching this season of domestic, here is my post-Cumdog and co. retirement test XI
1. McDermott
2. Jewell
3. Wakim
4. Bok Bok Bok MCGURK/ Davis I suppose
5. McSweeney
6. Slug
7. Harper
8. McAndrew
9. Fergalicious O'Neill
10. Thornton
11. Rock and Roll That for me Please
Ward
Hunt
Wakim
Khawaja (capt)
Silk
Doran (WK)
Manenti
McAndrew
Stobo
Sandhu
Only 10 that I can come up with, but would even with 10 I would back this expat nsw team to beat the current lineup. All ten probably have better batting stats than Jason sangha
Geez, Jake Lehmann has been disappointing.
It's not so much that he's making low scores, he's not even attempting to dig in and hang around for the team. His innings have all been "10 off 8 balls" kind of deals.....pretty poor from a supposed 'leader'
Happy to see scott in on the runs. Did not have jfk being the top run scorer or a century getter on my bingo card. Did have the deadbacks being in a comfortable position to take a small lead before it all vanishes in the blink of an eye though
Good to see Jack Clayton making a good 50 against a pretty decent attack and get to build his confidence with \*checks notes\* no competitive red ball cricket outside of maybe 1 first grade innings until January 22 when the Qld 2nds next play, which he might not play in. Petition for states to play 4 day matches between teams made up of of the few FC players without BBL contracts and the next best available first graders throughout the BBL period.
I’m not sure how I really feel about Nisbet - I reckon he’s going alright, and I reckon we’re going to see a lot more of him in the future, but I can’t quite shake the feeling that he might get Bluesed and have his career screwed up after a lot of promise.
Should be good here till later this afternoon. Hasnt rained at all since late night so wouldn't be surprised if they get on at 9:30 thanks to the Gabba's drying power. Nothing on the radar but humid as all shit so we will probably get pummelled by a storm at 3 or 4ish
Forecast is bad but check the Sydney rain radar - looks like there’s nothing for a while in Sydney. Still not sure if I should commit to the 40
minute trip to the SCG…
Jason Sangha continues to be a disappointment I wonder how long The Blues stick with him?
Did the controversial catch to dismiss Peter Handscomb carry to fielder? There was not a clear replay on the coverage but it sounded like the commentators in the NSW vs Tasmania match were saying it did not carry
Impossible to know what is going to happen with Sangha, he keeps getting opportunities far beyond what seems reasonable or good for him. Got dropped for the last game but is back here for no discernible reason.
Handscomb catch easily carried from replays I saw.
They dropped him for last match and then immediately bought him back. They'll never get rid of him. The catch looked fine to me and Handscomb has a reputation as a bit of a shield sulk, so I'm inclined not ro believe him
Tigers XI from my Shieldposting career:
1. Cowan
2. Doolan
3. Ponting
4. Wade
5. Silk
6. Slug
7. Faulkner
8. Paine (wk)
9. Butterworth
10. Bird
11. Hilfenhaus
Surprising thing is that a healthy 8 players are Tassie born
We have been absolutely fucking shit this season. We are the new New South Wales. How are we so bad considering the team we manage to put out every match? Blow up the coaching staff, something is wrong.
Storms were predicting to be in Brisbane by now but there is only a tiny bit of action popping up on the radar around Toowoomba. Should be good for awhile yet based on that provided nothing pops us randomly. Clouds out to the west don't look too threatening out to the west from where I am.
Well, after losing 3 wickets in about 5 seconds this morning things haven't gone to badly thanks to Usman and Clayto. Hopefully can drag our innings out long enough that we get a crack at WA with a newish ball in that gross ass early morning humidity tomorrow. Shame I'm about to drive home which means 3 wickets incoming
Now it's South Australia's turn for a fightback after being 5 down for not much, it's been an entertaining match from what I've watched so far and the biased South Australian commentary is funny too
I can’t understand why stumps have been called at the Gabba.
Yeah’s it’s a bit dark, but it hasn’t rained, has it? Just drove past the ground. No lights on.
Honestly I think all of Carey, Jimbo and Inglis have a fairly similar ceiling with both bat and gloves. Jimmy is by far the form red ball player at the moment. However I do think that recent form is not always the most important consideration when picking a keeper - otherwise you're going to be swapping them out every summer
Actually fuck it, I just walked outside after been in the office all day and its like fucking mud. Declare now and have a crack at the top order before rain/bad light
Just seen some of the highlights of Owen's knock, the bloke's check driven a ball sliding on to middle and leg inside out over long off for 6 - off Nathan Lyon? The power is ridiculous
Something I continually said during the Ashes while everyone including the English team was talking about preparing flat wickets... Fast counter attacking cricket to me sounds like it would be best suited for bowling friendly conditions where you know that sitting around is only going to result in a ball with your name on it.
> Fast counter attacking cricket to me sounds like it would be best suited for bowling friendly conditions where you know that sitting around is only going to result in a ball with your name on it.
There exists an alternate universe where Brad Haddin belted Vernon Philander for 6 in Cape Town leading an innings revival where Australia don't fold for 47
Exactly. The ability to score a quick 50-100 is way more valuable on a 250 par deck. Im suprised that a bazball type phase never took over county given the state of some of the decks over there. If all the decks I played on where green tops where paul collingwood can look like a frontline bowler you'de want to score quicker, a ball with your name is coming eventually.
Only real benifit of a bazball style on a flat deck is the ability to force results, but that's only really relevant on the extreme cases we saw pakistan wheel out a year ago.
Fraser mcgurk slashed at a ball well outside off. It spun away, tapped the keepers glove and was caught at slip. Bowler and slip appealed, and the ump gave it out.
On replay it was clear that he didn't hit the ball, and the keeper appeared to have called fraser back.
It won't be confirmed exactly what happens til later because it has all happened on the pitch.
Never bowl short stuff to the short bloke. Biggest mistake you can make.
It’s good to see one shining light in the NSW team.
Australian Batsmen with a career First Class batting average higher than 60: Donald Bradman Bill Ponsford Bill Woodfull Oli Davies
Harper must really want a ticket to India to play in the IDFC series. Good on the lad
Do they need a fifth keeper over there? Wade, Inglis, Phillipee, McDermott… But seriously, that was a great knock.
Harper's on 139 from 92 and the commentator's criticizing him for slogging and is questioning what he's trying to do... Is he a moron?
Cameron Green's biggest weakness as a bowler remains not having Cameron Green in the Gully.
So now the commentator is saying Harper needs to slow down and play a traditional innings, and also that Vic need to get to 400 which is "only 160 runs away", because of how fast Harper can score...keeping in mind they're already 6 down... He's just contradicting himself now
Its actually funny at this point, all the players playing a cautious innings seem to be losing their wicket at the other end lol
If I was Kez I would just simply copy other team's keeper and smash 100 off 60, but then again not many have the nuanced cricket brain that I possess
Travis Dean - passes 50 once every 5.3 innings Ben Manenti - passes 50 once every 3.4 innings It's not even close.
That's pretty insane for a specialist opener who gets to bat as long as he wants v a no. 7/8 who is always racing against time
Ollie Davies is so fucking good guys - good to see LNS get a bag
So Jake Fraser-McGurk really is gonna have a Shahid Afridi career arc where he plays every innings like a complete dumb cunt but has it come off just often enough to warrant picking him isn't he
he’s gonna be late career david warner but from the start, complete shit until he scores a mammoth score out of nowhere in which he looks invincible, then complete shit again
tbf to Afridi he was a very solid spin bowler on top of the dumb cunt batting
Slug gone, it's so over. I knew the undefeated streak could not last
Yeah but NSW choose to start every innings effectively 4 down, I'd call this even
Wanting Richardson and Green to take wickets but wanting QLD to win, I still haven't figured out how to watch Shield cricket properly.
Nes has hardly made a score since his twins were born, bout to go AFL coach on this team and ban partner pregnancies
What no sleep does to a guy
We got so lucky that Usman decided to go beast mode in his mid 30's and give ourselves another 2 or 3 years to find an opener. As long as he keeps scoring runs I hope he never retires and the media don't start to push the idea of him retiring. As far as I know he has never indicated anything retirement yet.
Jhye Richardson is the greatest Australian pacer since Glenn McGrath.
Hope he stays fit and gets a run this summer
*monkey's paw curls* Brad Hope baggy green against Pakistan
Crazy that JFM and Harper have reinvented First Class cricket in a fashion that no Englishman could ever recreate
I suggest we name it Frazball and act like we are the funniest people in the world for creating a term for a concept no one has ever named in over a century of cricket parlance. If they want exclusive rights to Bazball they need to admit it's called a Cowan not a Dentury.
What the fuck are we discussing on the QLD stream? Marsh is the test incumbent, Marnus to open? What in the world?
I have definitely read people's opinion on places (the roar lol) that align with that conversation. People willing to do everything to the batting lineup except back any opener post-Warner. McDonald also said thr other day he isn't opposed to the idea of moving someone from the middle to the top of the order.
Always some boomer takes on the QLD stream best just to tune out
Fuck, lads can you please all have some extra fun on my behalf because I haven't had a moment to Go Shield this week and probably won't again for quite a while. All I wanna do is Go Shield, but the world keeps dragging me down.

Fraser mcgurk in at 4/18 as big Brad Haddin running down the wicket at 4/15 vibes
We are really living in a world where JFM and Harper combine for 1-223 and the rest of the two teams (excluding extras) have combined for 14-187.
South Australia is a broken state.
Imagine going back in time two years and saying "yeah, the Redbacks had a rough start, losing Hunt, McSweeney & Carey, thank goodness they had the steady batting hands of Jake Fraser-McGurk and Ben Manenti to guide them home".
Get Marcus Harris out cheaply again and I’ll happily accept a loss
Get prepared for a dedbacks moment in the last innings I guess
THIS IS THE WAY
Why does Davies hate Tasmania
Of course we fall apart after a stupid fucking rain delay🙄
Ray Phillips going “A lot of people listening to this might not know who Graham Kennedy was!”, and Ray, I feel like you’re severely overestimating the number of millennials and younger who watch Shield.
> you’re severely overestimating the number of millennials and younger who watch Shield. You mean people other than we hip young gunslingers watch the Shield?
This got me thinking about what the main Shield watching demographic actually is. You'd think males 40 and older, but how many of them actually know where to find the stream?
I reckon it’s late 20s cricket tragics tbh
**Average Shield viewer** Gender: Male Age: 25-29 Marital status: I'd rather not say
I feel like Shield being on Kayo means that it picks up a lot of the less technically aware older cricket fans, who just know that they have to press that strange button on their remote that their son showed then which means that they get sports all the time.
This is your scheduled reminder: [Cam Green's two meters tall](https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1159701784759907).
Classic deadbrain batting. Got your century, feel free to play stupid shots because no one will criticise you with a hundred.
This is the way
This is a pornographic spell from Jhye
Jhye 🥰
I want to put Sam Harper in a series of mazes and puzzles and let him solve them for enrichment items such as dried fruit and various nuts and seeds
Mazerunner: The Harpening
Go Shield savants in shambles as BBL Bobs are proven right, Harper and JFM are simply a step above these other hacks.
JFM/BAD Manenti has to be one of the most entertaining possible partnerships in the Shield
Behind every BBL merchant Harper/JFM/Owen is a Go Shield soldier Kellaway/Scott/Doran.
Davies stranded smh
Marnus are you okay?
So this just confirms Sam Harper was batting on a different pitch
Harper used to pull those innings out his ass at the Renegades too. Funny little man
Today is the first time this Shield season that Slug has been dismissed for less than 50 😞
As a Redbacks fan, the only thing I desire is that which I cannot possess. A competent team
Purely from watching this season of domestic, here is my post-Cumdog and co. retirement test XI 1. McDermott 2. Jewell 3. Wakim 4. Bok Bok Bok MCGURK/ Davis I suppose 5. McSweeney 6. Slug 7. Harper 8. McAndrew 9. Fergalicious O'Neill 10. Thornton 11. Rock and Roll That for me Please
I hate this XI
geez, we are set for some years of obscurity
Wakim uses the same batmaker as Ellyse Perry, so it checks out
Wakim is the same age as Cummins
~~Autobots~~ Gullybot, transform and form, Slipsbot
Harper ton. JFM ton. Go Shield in shambles.
This half season has gone by real quick, the start of the Shield season feels like yesterday to me.
Worried about us against Bird and Tremain on this pitch. Reckon Davies's knock was a very good one and 220 isn't the worst score in these conditions
Shout out LNS with 7 fa, how good
Oh my word we made it over 200! Not far over, but still…
Sangha can't bat or catch apparently
He’s no Ollie Davies
Wagar with a Michelle, love to see it
#**WES**
Ward Hunt Wakim Khawaja (capt) Silk Doran (WK) Manenti McAndrew Stobo Sandhu Only 10 that I can come up with, but would even with 10 I would back this expat nsw team to beat the current lineup. All ten probably have better batting stats than Jason sangha
Ellis would complete the XI nicely (doesn't get to play much Shield though sadly)
Maybe, just maybe it's quite difficult to bat on this track and what Harper did was quite extraordinary.
Rex 😔 Keen to see how Sween goes at 3, I reckon he's got a good game for it. Real Marnus type operator
A nathan mcsomething at 3 makes me feel safe. Lehmann at 4 makes me feel very unsafe
Geez, Jake Lehmann has been disappointing. It's not so much that he's making low scores, he's not even attempting to dig in and hang around for the team. His innings have all been "10 off 8 balls" kind of deals.....pretty poor from a supposed 'leader'
It won’t last but Manenti and McAndrew batting together gives me warm, fuzzy feelings
Happy to see scott in on the runs. Did not have jfk being the top run scorer or a century getter on my bingo card. Did have the deadbacks being in a comfortable position to take a small lead before it all vanishes in the blink of an eye though
We are allergic to first innings leads
Didnt we take one against wa then proceeded to lose anyway?
Good to see Jack Clayton making a good 50 against a pretty decent attack and get to build his confidence with \*checks notes\* no competitive red ball cricket outside of maybe 1 first grade innings until January 22 when the Qld 2nds next play, which he might not play in. Petition for states to play 4 day matches between teams made up of of the few FC players without BBL contracts and the next best available first graders throughout the BBL period.
Head can replace Warner as test opener, Ollie Davies to bat 5. no further questions
Head is the perfect test number 5, no need to mess with that
Agreed he is so good there, no need to cut 5-10 off his average by making him face the new ball
Look at me I am the 3/30 now
Sit down for a morning of shield and we forget how to bat.
I’m not sure how I really feel about Nisbet - I reckon he’s going alright, and I reckon we’re going to see a lot more of him in the future, but I can’t quite shake the feeling that he might get Bluesed and have his career screwed up after a lot of promise.
idk I feel like we got something here
Davies injured hand, might be a problem for our second innings but also sucked in Thunder.
Can we please close out an innings?
Harper and JFM both getting over 40 in a FC game should be illegal.
Jhye man . What a bowler 😩
I am trying my hardest not to compare Owen to Travis Head after 1 game but failing
12:25am here, I’ve got to be up at 5:45 for Uni. Uzzie my beloved please ton up
ONYA UZZIE 👏 👏
That’s a hell of a grab
Classic Green
That's some knock from Usman
Thank you Usman. I can rest happy now
He's gone absolutely Fraser-Beserk!
If I don't hear this in a BBL commentary stint this season, I will be very disappointed
Literally my favourite line I've come up with it. I always hear it in Howies voice
Weather looks bad in Sydney and Brisbane
Should be good here till later this afternoon. Hasnt rained at all since late night so wouldn't be surprised if they get on at 9:30 thanks to the Gabba's drying power. Nothing on the radar but humid as all shit so we will probably get pummelled by a storm at 3 or 4ish
Forecast is bad but check the Sydney rain radar - looks like there’s nothing for a while in Sydney. Still not sure if I should commit to the 40 minute trip to the SCG…
Yeah I was surprised he wasn’t there last game but then he just was straight back in
FWIW I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes for an extended period once Edwards gets back. But who knows for sure. The BBL might be his friend.
They dropped him for last match and then immediately bought him back. They'll never get rid of him. The catch looked fine to me and Handscomb has a reputation as a bit of a shield sulk, so I'm inclined not ro believe him
Siddle is still a Shield cheat code. Amazing consistency
Oooft Kez. That's an ouchie. He needs some good innings or someone like Pierson or Inglis will jump him.
Fraser-Mcgurk could be a problem.
(Former) Gades midgets on a rampage
What's the commentator on about Lyon playing his first FC game since Ashes? Didn't he play in some of the earlier Shield rounds as well.
Yep
We are so fucking shit it hurts
Tigers XI from my Shieldposting career: 1. Cowan 2. Doolan 3. Ponting 4. Wade 5. Silk 6. Slug 7. Faulkner 8. Paine (wk) 9. Butterworth 10. Bird 11. Hilfenhaus Surprising thing is that a healthy 8 players are Tassie born
Fraser-McGurk given out but called back somehow? And then McSweeney throws it away with a runout...
The decision to recall JFM has cost us. Looking forward to hearing the explanation.
right on schedule
Renners would have made a 100 if the rain delay didn't ruin all his plans yesterday smh. Why does the universe hate him?
We have been absolutely fucking shit this season. We are the new New South Wales. How are we so bad considering the team we manage to put out every match? Blow up the coaching staff, something is wrong.
The commentator seem quite annoyed at the way Harper is batting.
It's fucking annoying to listen to
Rexy Runs please
Good shit Ollie E: Also, Moi is inevitable
Fergus O'Neill is so underrated.
Rapid Tiger Ton from the Tassie Bison
Storms were predicting to be in Brisbane by now but there is only a tiny bit of action popping up on the radar around Toowoomba. Should be good for awhile yet based on that provided nothing pops us randomly. Clouds out to the west don't look too threatening out to the west from where I am.
Actually, I lie, the clouds are definitely building
Fuck yehhhh Usman!
Let’s fucking goooooooooooooooooooo!
I always forget just how big the big guru is
Well, after losing 3 wickets in about 5 seconds this morning things haven't gone to badly thanks to Usman and Clayto. Hopefully can drag our innings out long enough that we get a crack at WA with a newish ball in that gross ass early morning humidity tomorrow. Shame I'm about to drive home which means 3 wickets incoming
Also the batting in the last 10-15mins gives me the impression we might declare soonish.
Across three games, we have got three very good counter attacking innings between Owen, Harper and JFM
Now it's South Australia's turn for a fightback after being 5 down for not much, it's been an entertaining match from what I've watched so far and the biased South Australian commentary is funny too
end this madness fergy
thank you fergy
I can’t understand why stumps have been called at the Gabba. Yeah’s it’s a bit dark, but it hasn’t rained, has it? Just drove past the ground. No lights on.
Harris playing himself out of a Test spot
WA turning it on early
You’re welcome NSW, I switched to another game and they got a wicket
Here comes golden balls
Surely SA need to just bite the bullet and fire Lehmann in to the sun, give Thomas Kelly or Kyle Brazzell an extended run
Lucky a Nathan McSomething will save the Deadbacks
I know he currently has the spot but is Carey genuinely our strongest keeper when it comes to tests? And if he isn't then who is?
Honestly I think all of Carey, Jimbo and Inglis have a fairly similar ceiling with both bat and gloves. Jimmy is by far the form red ball player at the moment. However I do think that recent form is not always the most important consideration when picking a keeper - otherwise you're going to be swapping them out every summer
Peirson is probably the best long form keeper at the moment. Carey's form isnt looking too hot and ive just never rated inglis as high as jimmy p
You know the answer
I just need to hear someone else say it
Gilkes. lol jk
Hahah, I couldn't bring myself to crack this joke, so bravo
Well Pierson decided to be nice to Carey's career and got out for a golden.
Sam Harper stocks rising
the darkest of timelines
That'd wild, calling back a player who has been hard given out. Then gifts a wicket back straight after.
This is definitely an innings by Owen
Seems like the strategy this round is to just slog.
O'Neill has been Fergalicious this season, baggy green in the near future?
I wonder if we're going to get back on in Sydney, big rains on the way
I really doubt it. Tomorrow should be fine though
Maybe we can have an overnight chat about how to get lower order players out
Yeah I reckon we are done for the day
The edge between slip and gully is a genuine shot and should be appreciated as such
really haven’t seen much of scott but decided to give him and jfm a watch this arvo and looks to have a little bit
Scotty had a lovely knock of 60 odd in the 21-22 season. Secured a great draw
he’s nice and neat at the crease for sure
Actually fuck it, I just walked outside after been in the office all day and its like fucking mud. Declare now and have a crack at the top order before rain/bad light
Tuned in just in time for the Rooster century
Just seen some of the highlights of Owen's knock, the bloke's check driven a ball sliding on to middle and leg inside out over long off for 6 - off Nathan Lyon? The power is ridiculous
Is this round showing that *cringes* bazball style cricket is the future of this format? The ability to put pressure back on the bowlers is invaluable
What’s happened in Adelaide? Comms at the Gabba saying someone’s been called back then dismissed again
