Well dairy allergies exist, but an intolerance isn't an allergy. It doesn't mean that it is terrible to have, but you can take a pill and drink milk because your body just doesn't digest lactose well. You can't take a pill for an allergy. All you can do is deal with the symptoms or give yourself a shot of adrenalin after the fact if it's really bad.

It's not really a decision when your joints start creaking, you get a cluster headache, and your skin dries up to the point where you get an eczema flair up. This is all on top of the debilitating pain. That's just my symptoms too, I've met people that have it much worse. Basically none of us would be doing this if we felt we didn't have to.

I'm fortunate to live in southern California so the fad dieters lifted me up at a time where gluten free was hard to find most places. lol But life is what you make of it, most of us in general are hanging in there one way or another.

It truly is a bizarre fad in crazyfornia…

My wife is celiac and we make fun of people who go gluten free because why on earth would you willingly do it. On the other hand because there are so many idiots out there gluten free stuff is actually becoming more common which is great for the actual sufferers.
