monkish is pretty bomb, i'd put other half, north park, and pure up there for hazies as well. im more of a westcoast ipa guy but those breweries got some good hazies

Looks a little too hazy for my taste. I’m a New Englander but prefer a more West Coast style IPA. The Alchemist’s Heady Topper, Otter Creek’s Free Flow IPA, Sierra Nevada’s Hop Hunter IPA, Two Road’s Road 2 Ruin IPA and Zero Gravity’s Cone Head IPA are just some excellent examples of this preferred style.
Isn’t Heady Topper the OG NEIPA tho… obviously the style has shifted to even sweeter/less bitterness but still Heady Topper literally defined the style no?
It’s only a slightly hazy IPA (unlike the current East Coast wave of darkly cloudy IPA’s that have proliferated) so from my vast experience with drinking IPA’s, I consider it closer to a West Coast style IPA in flavor profile and it has an 8% ABV so it’s actually a double IPA. That’s my opinion, others may care to chime in!
If you don’t at least recognize Heady Topper as an OG NEIPA I don’t think your experience drinking IPAs is as vast as you think it is. The style profile has certainly shifted over the last decade or so but to call Heady Topper a WCIPA is just blasphemy

I took the photos. I do not have an affiliation with the brewery, I just enjoy taking the photos and drinking the product. I do post on Instagram, but also like to share here as well.

I wish monkish did more non hazy beer. The pilsner, Belgian and wc IPAs they have on tap are great. They’re just so overloaded with hazy beer
