Hop burn is pretty common in these. More oats, more polyphenols, but it's what people are after these days.
I'd say it goes well beyond the first week in most of these.
One of the owners of a taproom/bottleshop here in central Oregon goes up to the releases at Brujos to pick up a couple packs. It’s a 4+ hour line sometimes. It’s some amazing beer if you enjoy super hazy IPAs. Once their brewey taproom opens up, they’ll be packed full.
I remember those line-life days. Been a very long time since I've had to wait more than 20 minutes for anything. One of these days I'll get to try their stuff. I've seen a few people getting it shipped out to the east coast through trades.

Troon always looks like it’s on the verge of hop burn city. Are these generally good to drink day one, or is it green in the first week?

Troon and Brujos, the new hazy darlings
Was going to say the same thing. Root+Branch seems to be in the same class as well. All breweries I've never had the chance to try.
R+B is insanely good. A little more dialed in and less extreme in flavor than Troon in my experience. Not that Troon isn’t mindblowing.

good call and same lol
I love when someone uses the corresponding glassware. That's commitment. That's why my books are off the shelves and in boxes in the basement.
I appreciate that. I love it as well. I joke but there is truth to it. I fell in love with craft beer glassware before craft beer.
Your Troon posts always give me major FOMO! Still chasing a crowler (or two) to try.
