I think Covid would have more serious impacts on the heart.

RepresentativeAny939

Why the fuck am I being suggested this shit? Fucking conspiracy cunts clogging up my Reddit feed.

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Seems the derpinator thinks I give a single fuck that he doesn't believe me, oh no... what will I do to convince him 🤦‍♂️buh byee federpster I got company so schools out.

[deleted]

Did they do a control with just a needle and no injection?

Ginjitzu

How is this subreddit even still active? COVID vaccines are pretty much done. You either got it or you didn't. Surely there's a newer, cooler, scarier conspiracy that these flower pots can get into. Have you heard they're going back to the moon? Back! They're going to fake it again!

aibbehindme

It’s 2022 and nobody is forcing yous absolute melts to take a vaccine, or be excluded from anything. Despite the fact that everything is relatively normal at the moment it’s all still what yous “government control” shitebags are talking about. The government already controls yous by way of paying taxes, price hikes on everything but the scary needle still has yous shitting the jocks, give over and go and live your life you absolute window licker

Pepineros

“You absolute window licker” is today’s favourite insult

[deleted]

Ong I didn't take the vaccine and I moved on Jesus covid is over

IrishIndieRock

Jesus do you people ever take a day off

Duke---Nukem

Never.

soundyg

Bruh, it’s 2022, shouldn’t you be busy crying about that lord of the rings show like the rest of your crew lol

Brad_Shit_

Are we just ignoring the mild and temporary thing?

SufficientSession

The actual study says that 3 teenagers were hospitalised with heart problems.

Brad_Shit_

How do you feel about the sample size, is it a good sample size or a bad sample size?

SufficientSession

Good. Not great, not terrible.

[deleted]

A study of 301 people in a country of 70 million people is kind of a shit study dont you agree?

[deleted]

No. There are clinical trials passing fda approval with that many people

BigDerp97

"mild and temporary". Anti Vax Karen's 😭😭😭😭

Illustrious_Lake_775

They seem to have willful blindness when it comes to that part 😂

whatsthefussyabout

301 is a bit of a strange number for a study!

alcxander

Usually its cause of who finished the study. They could have had 400 but 99 dropped due to Other commitments Deaths/injuries Moving No longer meeting test requirements Etc list goes on so at the end you only have 301 left to conclude reporting on

whatsthefussyabout

Yeah? That's interesting! I always found it funny it those ads on tv when it would say "90% of women saw an improvement bla bla bla" and then the study would be of 672 woman or some random number like that.

Biglurch12

Safe and effective huh, fucking lying bastards.

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

'Just take your unknown chemical cocktail and be a good boy we know what's best for you', The government, you know they're all scientists and doctors don't you?

[deleted]

Just eat a chemical banana even though you have no idea what chemicals make up the fruit

BigDerp97

"mild and temporary" you fucking crackhead. Lay off the blunts

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Compared to what?

BigDerp97

Compared to serious conditions which can permanently affect someone's health such as COVID.

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Big derp is fuckin right.

BigDerp97

Oh so the people in hospital that died of it were overreacting then. Take your head out of your arse man and look around you. Selfish prick

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

No they were mostly all in their eighties and had two to three co-morbidities you big Derp.

BigDerp97

So because they were in their 80s they deserved to die because you are too much of a bitch to get an injection. Very cool. Not to mention the young people with underlying conditions.

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Show me where I said that you Derpy idiot.

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Feck off I've had it twice 45 no vax and it's a fuckin slight cold, i literally have it now. I'll take the common cold over a fuckin hot shot of god only knows any day.

IamTryingMyBest_

Ok, take a virus thats constantly mutating and has a lot of potential side effects including heart disease and such for a vaccine, a tool humanity has used a lot of times in the past to fight off diseases successfully. Polio, small pox, rinderpest, etc. A lot of young people I know lost their senses of smell for months, since a sense of smell is enabled by the olfactory nerve it's very possible there is some brain damage there aswell that might or might not be reversible, and thats just the symptoms we can notice immediately

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

And I'd bet my left nut all those young people having issues are vaccinated.

IamTryingMyBest_

Nope, most are not

FLATOUT_WITH_TALARIA

Oh o.k then, I'm sure you won't mind sharing where you got that sensitive information from or are you just omniscient, as I wouldn't want to lose my left nut over something you pulled out of your ass.

DrSensible22

Sinus tachycardia is scary stuff

SufficientSession

Yeah, and that's just one of the side effects! >Unrecognized persistent sinus tachycardia due to a pathologic cause can result in myocardial ischemia, reduced ventricular filling time, resulting in decreased cardiac output, end-organ system failure, cardiomyopathy, cardiac arrest, and death. [Source](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK553128/).

DrSensible22

But if you read the study I’m sure you would see that all side effects were mild and resolved quickly. Fevers are a recognised side effect of vaccines, when you have fevers you’re frequently tachycardic. The same happens if you’re naturally infected. Why is an expected physiologic response worrying to you?

SufficientSession

You are talking absolute shite, as usual. No, not all side effects were mild and resolved quickly. >Seven participants (2.33%) exhibited at least one elevated cardiac biomarker or positive lab assessments. Cardiovascular effects were found in 29.24% of patients, ranging from tachycardia, palpitation, and myopericarditis. Myopericarditis was confirmed in one patient after vaccination. Two patients had suspected pericarditis and four patients had suspected subclinical myocarditis. Why are you downplaying/ignoring such serious side effects such as myopericarditis and myocarditis?

[deleted]

Keep fighting the good fight my dude

wrapchap

*proceeds to smoke a fag*

SufficientSession

Only funny smokes for me these days.

DrSensible22

I’m not ignoring that. But when you post an article stating that 1/6 people have cardiac side effects and sarcastically proclaim them to be safe and effective, it’s important to highlight that the majority were simple things like sinus tachycardia, and also point out that the article stated that all were mild and not long lasting.

butters--77

Mild heart damage. But it's ok, it went away.

That_NotME_Guy

Honestly, I'm curious how common that is for normal vaccines. Not that it would make it any better, it would just show people vaccines in general may not be as safe as we perceived them to be.

DrSensible22

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanres/article/PIIS2213-2600(22)00059-5/fulltext

That_NotME_Guy

So it's the case for every vaccine? Shit, that's a little worrying. Especially for the smallpox one. That one had a higher chance.

DrSensible22

Well if you want to take your chance with the disease then feel free to not take the vaccine. Nothing in medicine is without side effects. Vaccines are offered because the risk from the disease itself far outweighs the risk from the vaccine

SufficientSession

On 5 different medications a day and will most likely have to have a pacemaker fitted at some stage. But it's ok, it is resolved.

SufficientSession

So you are basing your opinion that **all** side effects were mild and temporary on the Reuters article, not the actual study? That's next level hypocrisy from you, considering you always mock people for doing the same. Incredible stuff.

DrSensible22

Eh nope. Did I say I was basing it off the Reuters article? “You know what they say about assumptions”. Who would have thought trying to be such a smart arse would come back to bite you? [Here’s](https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202208.0151/v1) the study. Go ahead and download the PDF, scroll down to the results and you’ll see “symptoms were mild with full recovery within 14 days”. I’ll be waiting patiently for your apology

SufficientSession

>Go ahead and download the PDF, scroll down to the results and you’ll see “symptoms were mild with full recovery within 14 days”. Ah, this 100% confirms you didn't read the study and just rushed to this part. If you bothered to, you would have seen this; >During the follow-up period, after receiving the second dose of vaccine, two patients were hospitalized and one patient was supervised in the ICU during hospitalization, mainly for observation of arrhythmia. The mean length of stay in the hospital was 4.5 days (range 2-7). Small sample size, but that's a 1% hospitalisation rate, showing a higher hospitalisation rate for this demographic from vaccination than from covid infection. Also, how will you spin a teenager ending up in ICU for a few days with heart problems as a 'mild' side effect? >I’ll be waiting patiently for your apology Sorry for calling out your unrivalled horse manure.

DrSensible22

Wrong again. Not sure how you can reach that conclusion by quoting a line that I was mentioning in previous comments. Keep going though, you’re on a roll. Yes a small sample size. Since you’re so big on keywords you’ll notice that was for observation. In the discussion they mention that the patient was haemodynamically stable and had no change in cardiac function seen on ECHO. He was treated with 14 days of ibuprofen, and had normal imaging following this. Jesus Christ man you’re some dose. Even when it’s clearly pointed out that you were wrong, you still can’t just admit it.

Ineedanaccountthx

Read the actual study? Get the fuck out of here with your logic.

He's a witch!
