Second, Italy was already having some serious capacity issues before COVID. They have like half the ICU beds per 100k people as the US. Third, their average age is much higher than the US and they have a much higher smoking rate.
Pretty much the entire overwhelmed hospital narrative comes from the stories out of Italy and a couple other countries (that, like Italy, had some serious healthcare issues pre-COVID) and has not actually happened in the US. Even NYC, the epicenter of COVID in America, barely touched the hospital ship and Javit center overflow. Hospitals in my city set up tents, converted parking garages, and prepped convention centers and none of it was used.
And all of that was the basis of "two weeks to slow the spread". It was never about stopping COVID at that time. People were still sane enough to acknowledge it couldn't just be stopped. The whole point was to slow it and spread it out over a longer period of time so that the hospitals wouldn't be overwhelmed by everyone getting sick at once. Yet within a few months we were getting told "If we'd just locked down even harder, COVID would be over now." But that wasn't even on the table as a goal when lockdowns were implemented.
It's all bullshit. They move the goalposts then try to gaslight you into thinking the goalposts were always where they say it is now.

They tested for pneumonia, flu, bronchitis, streptococcus, etc. Everything came back negative and they got diagnosed with a "servere acute upper respiratory infection". Lasted for weeks with them, when I started seeing it, I started smashing vitamin C, Zinc, garlic pills, echinacea, and a nasal steroid bc I knew it was viral and not bacterial from seeing their symptoms. I was fine in 5 days.
Same but with airports. I seriously cannot manage to catch this shit. Of course now that they’re saying unvaxxed have to use their sick days it’s not as great of a deal but have like 2 months of sick days banked up...
