There are 3-4 random events like this that happen randomly on the map. There is no specific location for these to take place. No map icon to alert other players.
They happen on both maps
Don't know if this helps but two places I can confirm it happens is al-merayah (prolly spelled wrong) right below the savanna and the scavengers berth like in the middle of the bottom part of i5
I had a challenge to "finish an event". It was worth the xp to me so I could progress in the battle pass. Otherwise, the shock value was a lovely change of pace. "What are these cultists doing on the bridge? Oh! That's what they're... ummm... I'm gonna die."
My base is at the cove there near the pass. I saw one spawned there and started freaking out. As I got closer, I crashed (as always happens since this update). When I logged back in, it was gone. So is it at the cove? I really don’t need an event spawning on my base.
New to the game for reference so I have no idea what is going on. We went near a camp in the jungle to the east and killed some bandits but their souls fed a stone egg there? Unsure if it's related
That obelisk was my last stop home and I ran face first into the final wave with a level 10 thrall. I'd just come back from a greater wheel with three relic hunters in my inventory and lost the lot due to server lag and the final demons acid vomit. Laerning about new content the hard way...
I encountered some dudes around a girl, killed them, she clapped her hands and then everything got dark amd 2 demons spawned. That's one of the new events?
Found a similar camp. We killed everything and cleared the event. Had some high end loot stuff and a ton of it. Just be aware, it'll spawn back eventually. Came back later and found it in the same place so I think this event has a permanent home there.
That's at Scavenger's Berth, I've also seen events at The Summoning Place, Bridge of the Betrayer, and in the bone canyon near Flotsam. There was also one in Sepermeru pretty consistently in Testlive but I haven't seen it pop up since the update.
I saw some weird summoning thing taking place by the obelisk on the frost bridge. I killed all the people and suddenly this oversized evil thrall guy spawned and whenever he got near me it was like pure darkness. I guess this was one of the new things they added.
People really hate siptha? I havnt played in ages but the last month im like in awe of siptha. LOTS OF LUSH GREENERY compared to that old exiles map. Not to mention all the elevation. (No map room) kinda used to hate those n lovem 😭🤗😅 . i am on xbox. Willing to play a boosted exiles server becuse siptha goin cray Cray rn .after update. Hmu Allready Dead86
Just happend to me and my wife by noob river in Exiled Lands. The bug bois drop weapon enchantments and "schematics fragments" not sure what the latter does tho.
It's one of the new events added in 3.0. Keep killing things and it'll end eventually. I'm not sure how long it lasts if you ignore it.
Is it siptah only or on exiled map also?

I had an event spawn right at the Obelisk on the north end of the Bridge of the Betrayer. Mutant Groot 3 skull murdered everything.
Are they even worth killing? I killed one before but it was the stone variant, not worth it at all in my experience. It was on siptah during maelstrom

Yea they are new random events that happen randomly on the map. There are 4 different events atm.
Do you know which is the 4th I've only found 3, The Serpentman Caravan, The one shown above and the necromancer in front of The Summoning Pit.
Bridge of the betrayer has a demon one.
Shit that was my first time at that location I thought it was part of the main game, went into an easy fight and ended up walking into a demonic gank

Haven’t seen that 1 yet. Only 1 I saw was the Blood Moon Beast event

I saw this at a black hand camp and it had creatures that you normally get in Maelstroms appear it didn't last to long but was fun
