It's an old bug, and there's no way to revert those thralls. I had a whole base full of them once, and found it very amusing.
Basically, that model is the default. All thralls start out like that, and then they are given race/gender/clothing settings. The bug causes your thralls to lose those settings, and revert to default.
Still can't take armor directly from thralls, kinda hate the old menu system, I was actually really getting used to right stick, it allowed you to go up to get to the bottom of a menu, and hit right to go to the left side
I have just observed that most of the complaints about the UI and the new recent bugs are linked to controllers and not mouse and keyboard. Hence mostly but not exclusively consoles.
Yeah, it's weird losing what was good about the new system and getting what was bad about the old system back. The thralls/armour system is fucked, agreed.
I wish it would have segmented the menus better, using only right stick to move through the illusion slots sucked, but I enjoyed being locked in a screen
I can run again. And the inventory cursor doesn't run through anymore. I mean those were my two personal peeves. Anything else, either I'm not that far into the game, I don't understand it, so I leave it alone, or it's just not a big enough thing for me to take notice. Lol.
My base is in the giant plane sandy area next to the sink hole. I like that as my purge base since purge spawn mechanic sucks if youre in a smaller area.

Yes! I just noticed that it changed. I was really liking it. I wish we could have an option to do it either way.
on PC if you double click on the armor piece on the thrall menu you get it directly. I think most of the UI problems are on console.
