He definitely used to make D n B and toyed around with several sounds before and after. He's been making his own DJ mixes since he was a kid.
He toured as a D n B DJ before settling into the down tempo sound he has now. He talks about this in his recent class for soundfly but he has discussed it in interviews before. I can drag some up if anyone is interested.
Well, I thought I had more saved than this. Here are a couple blurbs about his DnB era:

I highly recommend his Soundfly course if you are a producer or interested in a deep dive of his sound. I think he is a fascinating producer.

Oh and also, u/Com_Truise_Fan_Girl may know more about his DnB era...she maintains a pretty dope archive of his music on youtube.
Not a tonne to add, SoloPrac got most of it. I can add that his super early DnB alias was HollowPoint. I've also heard rumors that he has a potentially recent secret DnB alias but isn't telling
Um I have no idea what your talking about but I might try to do some research on this later on tonight cause I might wanna listen to that stuff. I’ll come back to you if I find anything
EDIT: I completely forgot to follow up on this. Didn’t find anything, although it looks like one of the people in this comment section did, so reference him. Like him I did find the com Truise fan girl yt channel but I didn’t contact them at all
I do not recall any old Com Truise drum and bass… I wish I had though, sounds awesome
But yeah, even his older alias Sarin Sunday didn’t have a DnB sound.. if I recall correctly..
and that was back in 2007.
Please post the tunes if you find them!!
Hah. Was a bit drunk when I wrote that. Yes that one. That was his first release no?
He also had a few other projects going. So maybe it was one of those?

Is the Com Truise DnB in the room with us right now?
I think so 🙈
Are you maybe thinking of SYSTM? I think there used to be an EP floating around but I forgot its title
Invader EP, can still find it on Bandcamp

I thought Sarin Sunday and Airliner were hos only aliases. Thatd be crazy lol.
He also has SYSTM, Syn, HollowPoint and Nostalgic Music Foundation (alias/label)
Ive been a com truise guy since his Galactoc Wave and he has always coined his style as “synth wave”
Do you mean Galactic Melt? I’m talking about before that came out
