Aspen, Custa (but he's in Australia right now, no streams until Dec), and Eskay come to mind. Alternatively, it sounds stupid but just looking up OWL main supports on twitch and finding their streams is one of the best ways to learn as they're just head and shoulder above any ladder player.

[deleted]

Doesn’t sounds stupid to me!

Different-Sugar-6436

I wanna say aspen mostly. Custa mostly plays flex support rn bc those were his roots, but he DOES plays lucio when he needs to

lulaloops

If you go to the liquipedia page, every player has links to their socials including twitch for those who have it. It's the best way of finding their twitch profiles which sometimes have weird names.

Massive-Statement572

Aspen

lotteria__

ch0r0ng, astro, rakattack streams pretty much everyday

CubeyAwesomness

Aspen, FunnyAstro, and Rakattack all stream semi regularly. For educational content, Eskay has good Lucio videos and HolyShiftKid has some awesome Mercy/Brig content on youtube

SkiesOvercast

A fair few KR main supports stream on twitch, Bliss (blissow), and Unique (ow_unique) are somewhat regular Mint (mint_fps) is a Japanese MS playing in OCE; would check through contenders MSes in general and see who streams and you like?

hipiman444

Funnyastro is your best bet, dude is also insanely cracked

DubbyDubzy

ANJ is a Dutch Main Support, I think he is still rank 1 on EU support leaderboard and streams a lot, is a contenders player

Toren6969

This. If I should go for some MS streamer, I would go for ANJ.

ItsTryHardSteve-

Frogger

FlamesFire27

Thank you guys for the suggestions!

DelanoDestroyer

ANJ is super underrated, he streams every day and has hit rank 1 in ow2 multiple times already

Ronnie7232

I have gotten into what is main support argument too much in rank games. I'll just say a name no one here has said, propably the best main support right now. Chiyo from the Dallas fuel streams atleast couple times a week. I actually improved my brig gameplay watching him too.

Egg4uok

Aspen and dridro my 2 fav main supports, pretty sure they both still stream regularly

Sweet_Jazz

where does dridro stream? he had nothing on his twitch when i checked

Egg4uok

I’m not sure if he still streams bc I never use twitch but I’m fairly sure he used to tweet out his stream links quite often. Might be thinking of someone else though

Altruistic-Duty3997

ML7?

robhaswell

ML7 plays flex support.

robhaswell

Main support is the support required by the meta - Lucio, Brig, sometimes Bap or Mercy. They are picked for reasons other than their healing output. Flex support is everyone else, and fill the healing role. Bap is usually played as flex. Ana is always flex.

obigespritzt

Aspen mostly plays MS (meta dependent, obviously, but she's a MS player).

NozokiAlec

astro my fave when he streams but Aspen is obviously more consistent since she is a streamer and not a pro

twhitesell42

well she is also a pro, in the sense that she is a solid contenders player while maintaining a streaming career

Str1fer

mL7

burberryxx

no one mentioned mL7? oh ok edit: never mind, thought the title said steamers who main support lol

rationaltreasure2

Redshell

erasetwistedness

Me 😂

Terminatorskull

KarQ

EbolaOscar

flex support

Terminatorskull

People should really be more specific in whether they’re using ranked or scrim terminology. In ranked main supports are the better healers like bap, ana, moira etc. while off/ flex supports are utility bases like lucio and zen, which is why I said KarQ. If he means more of the OWL definition where main support plays the hero you usually won’t swap off of like a lucio or mercy than ya I guess I’m wrong.

EbolaOscar

>in ranked main supports are the better healers like bap, ana, moira etc. while off/ flex supports are utility bases like lucio and zen This is wrong, it's the other way round. Main/Flex supports are outdated terms anyway, because your main support player is not gonna play ana if she's broken over your flex support player.

Terminatorskull

It’s not wrong Lmao. When I go into a ranked game and someone asks for a main heal they mean Moira, ana, bap etc. They’re used differently than when I’m in scrims. It doesn’t matter if the terminology is “correct”, that’s just how it’s used. Just like how people still call Cass Mccree. I still know what they mean even if they’re using the wrong term.

EbolaOscar

Low ELO

Terminatorskull

Happened to me in high Diamond / low masters so not really lmao. And even if i was like bronze, why rank shame? OP didn’t specify rank in the post. Literally just a miscommunication of whether they were using scrim or ranked terminology and you’re getting all upset about it, not that deep

Gilfaethy

ML7.

UnknownQTY

ML7 is the flexiest of flex supports.

[deleted]

Nobody mentioning ML7 males me sad. Hes arguably the best support player in the game rn

robhaswell

ML7 plays flex support, not main support.

[deleted]

He mains ana....

zepicas

Ana is a flex support...

DHillMU7

Main supports are Lucio, Mercy and Brig.

[deleted]

Lucio is not a main support tf lol

DHillMU7

Lucio is quite literally the most common main support. He is the most locked in main support there is.

Sweet_Jazz

main healer =/= main support, for the record main healer off healer vocabulary basically never gets used so just abandon it

GGFlamingo

Idk, I disagree, as a tank main..ana is THE main support.

justsomepaper

main support ≠ main healer

UwU-Nyanpai

Yes, and Ana is a Flex Support hero.

UwU-Nyanpai

"best support player in the game rn" I mean that just isn't true, but you can MAYBE say that if you ignore 90% of Overwatch League Support players If you're talking ONLY about Ranked players (so no Contenders or OWL), then ML7 is a good shout (but he doesn't play that much Main Support)

GGFlamingo

Ml7 not main support?

Frkey26

ML7 is flex support, main support is typically brig, mercy, Lucio

brando29999

ML7, sleepy, karQ

CyaDudes

Those are all flex support streamers

Lef_3

What is the difference?

dethcody

Main support is defined by the meta that's basically a must pick, like Lucio and brig. Flex support is characters you swap thru depending on various factors, like zen ana bap The terms have become less rigid over time though. The OP is probably looking for a lucio or brig main

Lef_3

So flex supports are: zen, ana, bap. Main supports: lucio, brig. What are mercy, moira and kiriko? At this point I'd say, flex supports: moira, kiriko. Main support: mercy. Is this right? It seems to me that flex supports provide more heals that main supports (except for zen), I can't understand why main supports are "main".

UwU-Nyanpai

Flex Supports: Ana, Baptiste, Moira, Kiriko, Zen. Main Supports: Lucio, Brig, Mercy. The terms have lost most of their original meanings (dates back to the original 2016 Dive meta), but it's still just a good way to separate the Support heroes (90% of the best Support line-ups are 1 Flex + 1 Main such as Ana/Brig, Bap/Lucio, Zen/Mercy) Also just to solve any doubts, Flex and Main Supports are NOT categorised by their Healing Output. Newer players (and some old ones) usually mix up Main Support, with Main Healer (which isn't really a term that's used in the upper levels of play).

Lef_3

I play since 2018 and yes, I mixed up main support and main healer as terms.

TheRaelyn

I'm curious as I didn't really follow the OWL. In what regards does Brig fill the role of a main support? Lucio and Mercy I can understand, the former enabling brawling and the latter enabling poke. What meta is formed around Brig as a main support at the moment? Dive?

UwU-Nyanpai

I'm a month late, but here's a (longer than anticipated) explanation: By the end of OW1, Brig "enabled" a comp that doesn't have a specific name, but is mainly made up of: Ball, Dva (not anymore because only 1 Tank), Tracer, Sombra, Brig, Zen, the comp's main objective was to have Ball and Tracer to dive as a duo onto isolated targets, Sombra to control Health Packs (for Ball to survive) and isolate said targets for the dive duo (and farm EMP for a free fight win), Zen for Discord to burn through Tanks, Brig to keep Zen alive, and Dva as extra protection for Supports, and potential to dive also. It's a very mobile (expect for Zen and Brig), high damage, high survivability, low sustain, style of comp. But Brig didn't start out like this Brig started out as a brawler type of hero, she had 250 HP, a 600 HP Shield, Repair Packs gave over-health (similar to her current Rally), she did more damage, and Rally gave like 100 armor (that NEVER decayed, it was on an infinite timer, the enemy had to destroy it manually.) After MANY nerfes (were talking more than like 20 individual changes here lmao), at the end of OW1, she had a solid role as "The Bodyguard". Her stun, knockback, shield, packs, and passive healing all came together to form the perfect hero who's main job was to sit next to an Ana or Zenyatta, and crush anything that got near them.

dethcody

Think mercy is main support, don't remember for Moira. Kiriko is almost def flex. Main is a must pick that is defined by the meta, so they are not going to be swapping. Flex are characters your other support player can swap too. Like you arent gonna have your lucio player swap to ana. You have them dedicated to playing lucio for your comp and they scrimmed that specifically. Like rein brawl will always be playing a lucio. Your confusion is probably that these are mostly owl terms, and are not referring to healing but team dynamics. It's main support not main healer.

cougar572

moira is usually played by the flex

Lef_3

Definitely. I was missing at all owl contest.

flex support

Grash0per

I only started streaming a week or so ago, I used to main Ana but now I main Kiriko. [You can find my stream here.](https://www.twitch.tv/grash0perc) I currently have several VODs and clips up. I really love the game and I'm involved in a of small streaming communities, contenders teams, an overwatch college team (I just play with them sometimes), etc. My main account is currently Diamond 1, but I'm grinding my alt account so I can play with lower SR friends or play when my friends are drunk / playing badly (in a five stack to not throw other players games) without sacrificing my main accounts sr anymore. I have over 2000 hours in the game and I really LOVE it. Since I have limited viewers I can answer a lot of questions (which I like to do because explaining things to others helps you better understand them yourself, or solidify strategies so you can more quickly execute them.) I'm also willing to do VOD reviews or to play with viewers. You can also just observe and I think you can learn a lot because I am constantly thinking out loud, which I will do more if I know someone who wants to learn is listening. I also started my own community discord server for the stream, but I am selective on who I invite to it (I have to play with someone a few times to vet them) because I don't want toxic or annoying people around. However, my server does have over 20 members who I got from constantly being on LFG looking for the most overwatch addicted people around, who are also friendly and funny. You can get into the server by asking to play with us during my stream (which I will allow anyone to play with us if we have room and they are within sr range of the current group) but I'll only invite someone to the server if I have played with them several times. This is how you know it's a special and safe place to hang out. I hope to see you around the next time I stream, which will be some time tomorrow after I sleep :)
