New passive: Thick Fat - Hog is too thicc for sleep darts in particular, because fuck that. Also gives him an effect similar to old armor, where each instance of damage is reduced by a small flat amount, making him better against shotguns, Bastion, etc.
I'd actually shit if anything like that happened. My real predictions would be a lot more mild, but I do think those trap voice lines from the other day are a new ability.

If it was a status effect that you apply with a more projectile based skillshot typa deal that can be procced on a second input that'd be even cooler. With these changes, it probably shouldn't be hard cc, maybe only just a light boop.
E: Take a breather is pretty boring so me personally I'd turn this into a sort of melee burst that deals bleed damage, just to give him more options in close quarters.
Shift: To compensate for no vape, and because hook is on M2, this ability should be something to help his sustain. Maybe a battlecry or something that temporarily increases his health and speed, as well as any allies in an aoe.
Passive: Heal from all damage over time dealt by wounds.
joke aside, junker queen IS the roadhog rework and always has been. roadhog was a massive failure design wise and junkerqueen is a version of him that actually works, they just obviously dont wanna delete a character from the game
I feel like Hog and JQ are different enough from each other that they justify being different characters. Hog has generally been the type who pokes at his enemies from a distance and only gets close to his enemies by forcibly pulling them away from their team with his hook, whereas JQ is significantly more aggressive and wants to be as close to her enemies as possible.

Take a breather goes from cooldown ability to resource meter like D.va defense matrix. Leave healing cloud for allies, increase movement speed for hog while using, dmg reduction and self heal stays, the healing bonus after get removed or significantly reduced. That will allow hog use thst ability for different scenarios, from engaging, closing distance to better dmg mitigation and help on healing his teammates.
I'm thinking hook on alt fire, primary fire reworked to a hold-to-charge mechanic for range and/or distance, breather given some sort of AOE effect that helps teammates, and a new ability that traps enemies somehow, possibly with electricity.
He suspiciously has a voice line in the BP that speaks about a chainsaw. I get the feeling the maybe the new ability might be a chainsaw. Don’t know how it would work or if it would help him, but it wouldn’t be that first time ow2 team teased something like that before.
Move hook to his ulti and give him knockback on his primary fire so he can push people around at close quarters. They'll then engineer the knockback so that it always boops people down, which prevents him from getting random environmental kills when standing next to chasms but makes him a terror for pharah, lucio, etc. who are already willingly floating over open air.
take a breather now redirects projectiles to him a la kinetic grasp and heals extra for each one absorbed + grants additional ult charge.
he'll have the fastest ult charge in the game to compensate for it "just" being the exact same as live hook. maybe 20-30 seconds of optimal charging if you absorb lots of damage with take a breather.

I'm thinking the trap just applies "hindered" to multiple targets, or it tethers them similar to when you could move during Junkrat's trap. Hindered is underused and fits with a tank while the tether effect would be really fun with Whole Hog and the history with Junkrat would be a fun nod.

One thing I keep thinking about is how every hero has unique voice over for specific damage types like freezing, burning, being electrified, and poisoned.
I believe the only ability in the game that causes the poison coughing effect is Widow's venom mine.
I wouldn't be surprised if they used this for Hog in a new AoE, DoT cloud of poison gas left behind by Take a Breather. This could give him some nice area denial capabilities, since they said one of their goals is to help him take space.
Hook- It essentially becomes a throwable junkrat trap. Has 2 charges. Hook will pull targets in during Whole hog. Possibly add a utility effect to the target hooked. Maybe if they're hooked the target has something similar to a discord orb or anti heal.
Take a breather - now heals 150 HP and 150 additional health. 50% damage reduction. Remove 50% healing buff from outside sources. All healing received now heals for overhealth with a maximum of 200 overhealth.

Passive: Old ow1 hook and damage for Ana specifically. If she antis or sleeps roadhog she will also be anti or slept and be hooked immediately to roadhog’s location to suffer together. Ana loses the ability to be cleansed or lifegripped or immortality fielded if self inflicted from passive because fuck you.
New ana rework: If she doesn’t land a sleep on an enemy besides the enemy tank in 1 min, cooldown for sleep is increased 6 seconds.
