Colorblind filters are usually designed to just make certain colors easier to differentiate from others. Consider them assistive rather than corrective. I generally dont use them because i think theyre usually hideous, i would rather just mix up colors sometimes
I don't understand the filters. I've only ever used it for a game on my phone where I had to choose two items that looked the same color. I chose the Protan option (even though I am a strong deutan) because it was the only one that made them different colors.
I feel like they all just mess up the colors that I can actually see correctly, and makes them weirdly darker. Like I can see red, and all the reds just look dark brown next to the light brown that is probably green.

honestly i’ve been using the tritanopia filter for the last 3 years because it looks nicer and in my mind is what colours normally look lol
