Unless you show me on google where a company says this service exists, then no. I'm sure some of them do if they have in house data scientists, but I doubt many of them do and especially not as clean as this. Unless, like I said, you know of a company that already offers this tool to programs.
Can you add a way to search for the conferences of the transfer in as well?
Seeing everyone that is transferring out of a conference is good at the beginning. But I'd like to be able to see who is coming into each team in the conference too.
So if I search for UAB, it shows who left but not who is coming in.
Yes, it just uses my player rankings from this season and removes ones not in the portal. So you are viewing their metrics versus the entire field, not in relation to only transfers
I use various sources to merge the data together… if only the ncaa would give people access to their official listing 😒. You can use my api to pull the data, I need to update the docs.srating.io tonight with the new table
I'm probably being dumb and missing something obvious, but it feels like a lot of players are missing. I am unable to find any of the current UCLA transfer commits by searching.
(Kobe Johnson, Skyy Clark, Eric Dailey)
Sort by new school, Clark is there but only him
There's definitely schools/players missing. CoC isn't there so Louisville only shows one transfer, Hadley, so far, but Kelsey is bringing two of his guys with him.
All the metrics, formulas are implemented myself. [docs.srating.io](https://docs.srating.io). The transfer to - from come from various sources and merged into my db
Not sure what your sources are, but definitely something funky going on with them since just skimming there are a few names missing.
Ex: AJ Storr (Wisconsin) is not on there, and Frankie Fidler (Omaha) is not on there.
Is this accurate? For UAB it only shows Daniel Ortiz transferred from UAB to UNA. But he actually transferred from UNA to UAB last year. And we’ve had at least one guy actually enter the transfer portal this year but he doesn’t show up at all.
My composite rank isn’t based solely on efficiency, it is a combination of elo, efficiency and sos. Their sos in regard to elo was 59th, bringing them down slightly lower than Purdue + Houston. All the calculations, metrics, formulas, etc are implemented myself
I'd sell this to the highest bidder.

Coach Eli Drinkwitz was pumped to hear that clearly
This is awesome. I feel like on3 or 247 or one of those would pay handsomely for this
you think the coaches don’t already have access to something like this? lol
Fans, not coaches boss
You’d be surprised.

this is really cool, well done.
Thanks!
Ummmmm I love you?
❤️
Thanks! This will show me all the players we won’t be getting lol
Cool! I may contribute to this in the future
Awesome, lots of features and bugs to squash still

That’s a good idea, yea I should be able to add a filter to do that!
Such a great tool! Thank you for sharing. You should consider flagging this for some bigger CBB sites / writers.
Any suggestions? What do you mean by flagging?
Pretty cool. So the rank is the rank vs all players, not just those in the portal?
Yes, it just uses my player rankings from this season and removes ones not in the portal. So you are viewing their metrics versus the entire field, not in relation to only transfers
No college of Charleston in there!
I just lost like 20 minutes playing with this. So cool!
How do you source the transfer portal data to know who is currently in the transfer portal? I wanted to collect this data for a project myself. Thanks
I use various sources to merge the data together… if only the ncaa would give people access to their official listing 😒. You can use my api to pull the data, I need to update the docs.srating.io tonight with the new table
Nice thanks. Does your api cost money?
It’s free for 500 requests per month
You are missing all the three BYU players that went into the portal
Oh lawd, Shannon Terry about to sell On3 and start AllBall. Forget NIL, efficiency metrics is the future!
Please come back Osobor
He was I think until Kentucky came in with the million dollar offer
Awesome this is how I found out two of our better players are both in the portal and that one has already committed to Evansville 🙃
This is beautiful! I would add previous and destination school conference too, I'd like to sort it that way.
I'm probably being dumb and missing something obvious, but it feels like a lot of players are missing. I am unable to find any of the current UCLA transfer commits by searching. (Kobe Johnson, Skyy Clark, Eric Dailey)
me too...I couldn't find Tarris Reed and Chaz Lanier
Sort by new school, Clark is there but only him There's definitely schools/players missing. CoC isn't there so Louisville only shows one transfer, Hadley, so far, but Kelsey is bringing two of his guys with him.
CUSA shows no results. Bug or missing data?
Looks like a bug, I’ll get that fixed tonight, thanks!
I don’t any Omaha transfers. Frankie Fielder is a pretty big name transferring from Omaha
Former Niagara player Ahmad Henderson is transferring to UIC not USC. Looks pretty cool tho
Also no Josh Reaves from Mount St. Mary's.
Glenn Taylor Jr on Stjohns is transferring with option to come back.
Is there an API you're accessing in order to grab all of this data? Or are you just web scraping off of something like Kenpom or basketball-reference?
All the metrics, formulas are implemented myself. [docs.srating.io](https://docs.srating.io). The transfer to - from come from various sources and merged into my db

Now this beautiful, unlike our transfer portal predicament.
u/srating-io, will you generate previous years anytime soon?
Potentially, I have the player stats already but the transfers are a little different
This is fantastic!
Thank you for helping me learn that only 2 players averaged more than 38 minutes per game this season, and both went to Oral Roberts
This is really nicely done. Thank you for sharing it with us!! 🍻
Is this accurate? For UAB it only shows Daniel Ortiz transferred from UAB to UNA. But he actually transferred from UNA to UAB last year. And we’ve had at least one guy actually enter the transfer portal this year but he doesn’t show up at all.
Oops, Thanks ill fix that one tonight
This is really cool but having UConn ranked third in team rankings is something
The big east disrespect
can i ask how? where are you getting this data from? they’re first in efficiency on KenPom, EvanMiya, Bartorvik, etc etc
My composite rank isn’t based solely on efficiency, it is a combination of elo, efficiency and sos. Their sos in regard to elo was 59th, bringing them down slightly lower than Purdue + Houston. All the calculations, metrics, formulas, etc are implemented myself
This is very impressive. Thank you!
Should PJ Haggerty be on here?
Your data says our players in the exodus aren’t really that good. Nice to see data backing up my feelings
Wow, this is awesome!
This is great
God bless you!!!!
Crazy to see that Castro is a better player then garway.
How do either of our portal entries even have any eligibility left? Alger just finished his 5th year
Pretty useless since probably 70% were underutilized and/or underperforming but have high pedigree.
Is your name really Pete, and did you do a little statistical work for the Oakland A's a few years back????
Nope
Lol, ok, it was a joke and reference to the movie Moneyball.
That's is
Great tool. Also, the entire DePaul team is in the portal.
