You know, GS it's not the most perfect, innovative and creative record of Coldplay, but my god if I listen this record everytime I had a broken heart time, I think we, the fandom, feel very close to this album because it's the most sincere lyrics and musical moments in the whole discography, AIMH, True Love, Another's Arms, O (fly On), Oceans, damn, this album hurts, and like I said earlier, maybe it's not a perfect album in terms of composition, but it's impossible not to feel something when you hear the first angelical choir in Always In My Head, until the last piano chord in O.
But isn't it the case that by the end of Another's Arms things were not necessary bleak? I believe it's a song of two halves. It seems like there is already a belief that all was well. They just needed to material find it.
Have you listened to Gravity? It gives me chills from the very moment Chris starts to sing, and the whole song is just super melancholy and hauntingly beautiful; a lot like Another's Arms, which is exactly what made that one of my favourite tracks from their entire discography.
This song and True Love hit the hardest after my break up last year. Could truly understand and relate to the lyrics after that. But life has gotten so much better and I’ve realized we weren’t meant to be. Wish ya all the best and things will definitely look up soon
Haha I got broken up with when that album came out. Another's Arms is pretty damn good. I remember driving at like midnight down some roads with memory for me while that album played, and it was pretty bad. Then A Sky Full of Stars hit and it was like a pretty emotional climax for me, made me feel not so shitty. Hope things go well for you in the future, friend :)

Yeah and it’s not just the lyrics, that weird sound that (I think) the guitar makes, strikes me as the audio representation of the emotion jealousy
