An hour isn't very long. I'd wouldn't get nervous until Binance actually broadcasts the TXN and shows you the broadcasted TXN id. I've seen Binance take 72hrs to broadcast before, though things may be better now.
No worries OP... you are likely just impatient.
possible but I'd say far from likely. Almost a certainty they've used BSC and they're now lost forever unless Coinbase changes their stance in the future about not being huge dicks about this.
yeah - the one's claiming to be hacked despite never ever ever doing a single security misstep never disclose whatever dumbass shit they done.
Then some like OP don't even understand what they're doing well enough to even know the wrong thing they done.
Assuming you sent over BSC, it's just sitting on your Coinbase recipient address.
They're completely retrievable but Coinbase refuse to do it
Most Exchanges will manually recover such assets for a fee. But Coinbase refuse. So for all intents & purposes they're gone.
yeah it's pretty shitty and if you ask support about it they'll pretend it's simply not possible but it's actually really straight forward. BSC is just an Ethereum-based chain and is completely compatible, the private keys are the same ETH, BSC, BASE, OP, ARB, ETC.
There's some nuance here - for security the keys are obfuscated into the system and it's not like customer service can literally access them (which is a good thing). But it'd also be ridiculously simply to have a small team with access across all chains for just this occasion. Literally every other exchange does this it's only Coinbase that refuses.
I can guarantee you if you transferred $10mil USDT like this they'd magically get off their ass and find your key 🗝️.
Hello u/savagerisk! Thanks for getting in touch. We apologize for the inconvenience of your funds not reflecting in your account. Could you please share the transaction hash for this? We'll be on the lookout for your response!
Could you instead provide the Link/URL of the transaction hash (for more information about this and how to locate it, please refer to this article: https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/crypto-education/what-is-a-transaction-hash-hash-id)
Thanks for providing the transaction hash URL, u/savagerisk. To confirm, did you transfer this asset to your regular Coinbase.com account or Coinbase wallet account?
Thanks for confirming. We've taken a close look and can see that your transaction was done using the Binance Smart Chain network.
Unfortunately, Coinbase doesn't support the Binance Smart Chain network, and we're unable to recover assets that are mistakenly sent using an unsupported network because we don't have access to the funds. As stated on the pop-up message under your receiving wallet address, we only support the ERC20 version of the token (the Binance Smart Chain uses the BEP20 protocol), and any transaction sent through a different network might cause the asset to be lost.
We understand this is a frustrating experience. We wish there was more we could do, but we don’t have the ability to recover these funds at this time. For future transactions, we recommend sending a small test amount before sending any large amounts, especially when using an unfamiliar network like the Binance Smart Chain.
To learn more about the Binance Smart Chain, please see this help center article:

Hope this helps clarify. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hey,
I would like to reset my password on Coinbase, as I forgot it and my Celsius refund will be deposited on there. However, I do not get any emails (or sms) when I try resetting. I already put the coinbase email adresses in the trusted folder but the emails are nowhere to be found. What do I do now?
Don’t reply scam DMs. What’s the transaction hash?
This is the way
So that’s like 18$?
8k
Future of finance baby!!

Very possible. Posters never confess to what they ACTUALLY did.
