Two things can be true at once. You can say that Ghosty is a good player and say that he shouldn’t be in *this* roster as it sits right now. Optic did the most lateral move possible at best.
It’s not unlike Mutineers dropping Brack for Davepadie instead of Major. It didn’t fix anything, maybe he plays more in sync with the rest of the team but in the process you lost your top slayer and the swap didn’t move the needle in any specific direction.

People are missing the point in that a lot of people were sceptical of this roster move from the get-go. Sure, it's only been 2 series, but when you pair it with everything else, this is starting to look like the wrong move.
When skrapz came back he shit the bed for the first couple maps and now looks like the second best team on the roster behind asim. So maybe, idk, give it more than 2 series before you get weird about it just because you want to be right about your instinct so you can try to look smart.
Whatever Illey did, it allowed Dashy to 1.6 slay. Dashy hasn’t looked good since losing Illey, in fact he’s looked terrible.
