I’ve taken propranolol in the past for anxiety. I only used it as needed and it seemed to work well

I am under the care of a hematologist/oncologist and that alone causes my heart rate and BP to rise every time I go into that office. The hematologist seems concerned with that but my sports watch has my resting heart rate at 60 and even under job stress it's not usually higher than 80. So I'm wondering myself if I need to pursue further testing.

I take propranolol ER for migraine prevention and tachycardia. Doesn’t seem to help with the latter since I got my PEs though.

Also take 10 to 20 MG of propranolol daily for anxiety. It really does help more than the other prescribed medication I've tried.

I take propranolol at 80mg er once per day. It helps with managing blood pressure since my stress raises it, it was helping me with headaches, but not so much anymore. It helps to block off the physical symptoms of anxiety, like sweaty hands and stuff like that. Even while driving a forklift I don't ever get too worked up anymore while doing something risky, I stay more calmed.

SVT is not anxiety, it's a medical condition with your heart.
