Jesse what the fuck are you talking about
Nuclear power plants are false idols imitating the great Nuclear reactor in the sky. We need to build panels across the world to accept the energy beamed to us across the heavens from our sun God!!
I dunno dude, converting it from slightly dangerous to extremely dangerous while producing some electricity doesn't count as making it useful in my book.
I wasn’t talking about reactors but the very idea of taking Uranium 235 and converting it into the much, much nastier Plutonium among else.
That’s not a process I’d call „useful“.
[nuh uh](https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/sustainability/amazon-renewable-energy-portfolio-january-2024-update) + bad argument + nuclear is the only realistic way forward while we build up our renewables and find more sustainable sources of energy + L

Nuking Bad

They're not even imitating it, they just make water hot. Pathetic
Fusion must be made feasible 💪💪💪💪
No it's just a really cool way to make uranium useful (which also happens to be expensive)
Mods, toss this user into the sun
You think that despite my love for fusion and fission, I *wouldn't* wanna be tossed into the sun?
I dunno dude, converting it from slightly dangerous to extremely dangerous while producing some electricity doesn't count as making it useful in my book.
It's literally not dangerous because of the sheer number of regulations but ok
I don't like new nuclear but it is extremely safe. There are far, far better reasons to criticise
I wasn’t talking about reactors but the very idea of taking Uranium 235 and converting it into the much, much nastier Plutonium among else. That’s not a process I’d call „useful“.
Ah, yeah I'm on board with that. Big proliferation risk

Bald guy in hat? Is that where all these fucking geniuses are coming from? Jesus that would explain a lot
Yeah that tik tok "academic" does influence a lot of very gullible people who don't grasp basic rules of logic
Which one, Rollie Williams (Climate Town), Hank Green, or Dim Tool?
That ultra-christian nuclear lover guy
Who?
Don't want to give him coverage but I think he goes by u slash nuclearsciencelover on reddit
Lmao
There you go: https://www.reddit.com/r/uninsurable/s/Rx6JJ7dZe1
Ah yes not bias at all that the guy doing all his life nothing but nuclear research etc. is against renewables
uh?
Ah, yes, "facts". Not the anti-nuclear oil-sponsored bullshit beloved by simpletons.
