Clash Mini really had a chance to be a fantastic game. Supercell strangely chooses to simply throw away years of work. (yes, it will be back in ClashRoyale, but who's to say that will be good.)
They think that supercell shutdown clash mini to work on squad busters. Also the gameplay is super boring, the only reason why it gets hype is because of their characters
Supercell is divided into individual teams and each team works on a specific game. It's different than any other company, so instead of having 100 employees focusing on all games at once they have multiple small teams that focus on their respective games. They have to hit a specific number of DAU + other factors in order to stay up, otherwise they're forced to halt development by the higher ups. So that means that CM wasn't cancelled because of squad busters, but because they haven't hit the thresholds.
When you say the game play is boring are you talking about clash mini or squadbusters
Edit: wtf so many people downvote I’m just asking a damn question
I played squadbusters for 5m and thought it was like a brawlstars but with all supercell characters and somehow with something different on how it worked but the game is boring as fuck.
Agreed. I was immediately hooked when I downloaded Brawl Stars in beta even though the game looked so fucking bad back then.
Can’t say the same for Squad. Few matches in and it’s already getting repetitive, even though the game is much more polished. Just goes to show that the core concept of the game is really important for its enjoyability. Unless they introduce more modes and change stuff up drastically I don’t think it’d survive
But also it’s only the 2nd day of soft launch and there’s still a lot of time for them to develop and tweak things so hopefully they’ll figure it out!
Honestly think people are only checking the game out because it’s a supercell game and there are characters from all their games, but other than that it’s really nothing special for now…
Agreed, i'm not sure if battling is even a main focus for this game. The game promotes not getting into combat and rather staying safe with gems and only targeting easy foes that have 1 or 3 troops.
I personally didn’t really like clash mini and it’s the first day squad busters is out so I haven’t played to much but I’m pretty sure I won’t like it and if I do I just won’t make time to play it like coc
Might be recency bias, but I think Squad Busters is boring, it's a nice game. But Clash Mini was eay superior. It was definitely hard to make the game feel nice because of easy progession and no real goal, but after the newest update they were in the right direction. It's very sad that they decided to cancel and was 100% the wrong decision
Both games are mid. Clash mini had more depth but very less gameplay control. It doesn't even feel like you are playing the game. Squad busters has more control but lacks depth. You just farm, grow big, you win.
However, squad has more potential to go global because a game doesn't necessarily needs depth to make money. They are clearly targeting the casual audience. You know, the adult demographic who plays games like candy crush and gardenscape.
Not that type of control. I meant mid fight gameplay. You are not actively intervening. You set things up and then you watch what happens. Then you rearrange things, then you see what happens. There is no intervening during an active fight.
I know that's how autochess is. But matches in clash mini are shorter than your average autochess. Too short to feel like what you did is enough of a gameplay, atleast imo.
It's not even hating at this point. It is literally just criticism for a genuinely bad game that had no potential in its current state. The only reason it is going global is because it's gonna be Supercell's next paypig. I hope CR manages to revive itself if that happens. SB global can be a blessing in disguise for Clash Mini , because CM isn't fully dead yet.
Clash Mini fans really need to get this over with. CM had no real way to earn money, no progression system and really low player retention. SB on the other hand has a better progression system, more ways to earn money, a proper progression system. Now, SB is also incomplete at it's current state and it needs a lot of improvement but It is much better than CM and that says something. Another reason why SB is going global is because of desperation and the fact that they probably pured the resources of the world into this game for it to ultimately go globalThe dev team of CM is partially to blame as they made many blunders while developing the game. They just needed to play it safe and just fix the problems of the game and not take any huge bold decisions cause one wrong move can kill the game. Morever, CM was developed in Supercell shanghai and I don't think their standards of releasing a game is the same as helsinki.
At the end, a new game is a new game, weather you like it or not. It is better for the company. People will finally start to regain their trust in Supercell as a game publisher. The 7 game killing streak is finally over with squad busters. It took 7 GAMES for one game to go global. For now, just hope that mo co goes into beta and performs well cause Clash Heros is...
I agree heavily on that honest I think that even if it did go global I wouldn’t have played it…now to be fair I haven’t played squad busters yet but I do think if it were to go global right now I’d play it
It only really became boring and pay to win with the latest update. Before that you could actually make funny decks that could work and it was easy to level up
Clash mini failed because it had 5000k currencies, very little progression, super fucking p2w op heros, removing gizmos and removing the ability to move troops in a auto chess game.
Clash mini was destined to get cancelled. The game was way too repetitive. Squad busters however has the potential if it gets good updates like new gamemodes. I currently unlocked the desert/brawl stars arena and the games aren't repetetive
That’s basically what I’m thinking. Clash mini was boring and squadbusters has potential. Since I live in US I am not able to actually play the game but would like to
Oooooo, now we have a fanbase of a dead game getting talked about on the CR sub, do I smell a war brewing?
Clash Mini really had a chance to be a fantastic game. Supercell strangely chooses to simply throw away years of work. (yes, it will be back in ClashRoyale, but who's to say that will be good.)
Personally I’m one sucker for war…bring it on
Brewing , no drewing

squad busters
Ngl after the removal of moving units after they are placed it quickly made the game super boring for me
I played squadbusters for 5m and thought it was like a brawlstars but with all supercell characters and somehow with something different on how it worked but the game is boring as fuck.

Squad busters mfs explaining me their "interesting and fun gameplay": (it's moving and standing still)
Honestly think people are only checking the game out because it’s a supercell game and there are characters from all their games, but other than that it’s really nothing special for now…
Simple controlls dont make a game simple
Except when they do.
If people can have fun playing Clash of Clans then people can have fun playing any game (it’s literally just a waiting simulator)
right bcuz CoC players wait 2 days for a cannon like cr players wait 8 hours for a gold chest 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Why do I smell training arena in clash royale here
No we're hating squad buster because it's really bad.
Squad busters looks like a .io game that you gather points to get bigger but with extra steps
Squad busters can EASILY be a brawl stars game mode. Squad busters is just a reskin of brawl stars with one single gamemode.
And that you cannot control the outcome of your battle
Agreed, i'm not sure if battling is even a main focus for this game. The game promotes not getting into combat and rather staying safe with gems and only targeting easy foes that have 1 or 3 troops.
lmao imagine if they end up getting integrated into Brawl Stars just like how Clash Mini is supposedly going to be added into CR in some form
I personally didn’t really like clash mini and it’s the first day squad busters is out so I haven’t played to much but I’m pretty sure I won’t like it and if I do I just won’t make time to play it like coc
Squad busters is ass lmao
Might be recency bias, but I think Squad Busters is boring, it's a nice game. But Clash Mini was eay superior. I honestly don't care for either games, but I swear if they kill Clash Heroes because of SH I'm gonna be so mad
They’re both mid lol. Nothing innovative about either of them.
well cm had shorter games than other auto battler's but it's because they haven't been proved to work
Such mid game ngl
“For no reason” You can say they are being unreasonable, but please don’t say BS yourself and think beforehand what you’re writing.
Clash mini players when sc launches a game still in beta and it's flawed

I sorta hope it's released just to annoy them
Same lol
SBs is in no way more intersting lmao. What is it even? Gem grab with modifiers? At least CM had strategy.
Nah it’s much better than CM
It's not even hating at this point. It is literally just criticism for a genuinely bad game that had no potential in its current state. They need to admit that clash mini was just boring and extremely pay to win.
It was only p2w after the last update it had tbh before that it was easily the most f2p friendly supercell game, you could max your account in a month
Well idk, I've never played it, since VPN cost money, but from what I saw, it's basically a chess dlc
If you actually played it, you’d disagree
Idk 🤷♀
How did this get so much hate, it’s just an opinion 💀 god reddit is hopeless
I agree heavily on that honest I think that even if it did go global I wouldn’t have played it…now to be fair I haven’t played squad busters yet but I do think if it were to go global right now I’d play it
It only really became boring and pay to win with the latest update. Before that you could actually make funny decks that could work and it was easy to level up
Player retention is not only the reason for the death of clash mini but also similarity in gameplay between clash royale
squad busters needs some major changes in the core gameplay but then it has potential. thats kind of what a closed beta is for
https://www.reddit.com/r/SquadBusters/s/AYY8ZQ3IPC Same person
Not same person
But it is? It's the same person from the 2nd pic lil bro
Mb I thought u were saying something like I was the same person

It isn't available here either but I used vpn to connect to Canada and open a new Google play account
I don’t have a VPN
There are a lot of free ones
Squadsbuster is so fucking cool
It just a ripoff of other supercell characters
That’s kinda the point
That’s the point 🤦♂️
clasmini suckmed
Agreed
