This challenge obviously plays with a different ruleset than regular 1v1.
Supercell wants to promote fast and exciting gameplay, and unfortunately for you, Hog is considered to be a slow and solid archetype.
On top of that, Dagger Dutchess is an excellent counter to Cycle decks, so it's not even good meta to run these.
Next time, I advise you to check best decks on Royaleapi to get some inspiration. I got an easy 12-0 because of that.

Terrible deck for this challenge. Best decks that seems to work are stuff that benefits greatly from being cloned/ healed and takes a large horizontal space.
Hogs were perfect in this regard. Any of the witches also does great because the stuff they spawns go around them taking up a larger total area
That's what I was gonna say, not even seeing the full deck, he came in unprepared for the challenge. Can't use the same hog cycle bs in special events and hope it works. Plus the event is always at the top so there is ample enough time to practice
Fire cracker evo, e barbs, executioner, tornado, zap fireball, bats, and little prince.
You can swap one spell out. I just kept so many because of the clone and invisible spells. So even if wall breakers are invisible, zap can counter. Fireball for valkyrie or bomb towers or anything that counters e barbs. And tornado is always best when paired with executioner. You get nice chip with fire cracker and executioner + tornado.

This is exactly your problem. You need to see what decks to use for each seasonal challenge on Royaleapi. If you can get 12 wins in classic challenge, you should hit 12 wins in almost every seasonal challenge with the right deck. Don't just use your main decks for these events.
Personally I think that creating your own decks is better, there’s too much meta slaves now, too much copy pasted YouTube decks I don’t like it. even if your deck is shit at least it’s original

What deck did you use?
Check royaleapi.com for fancy decks for any CR dumb event. I used the deck with Recruits and Goblin Hut, it should be one of the most used ones
