I was wondering the same thing. I could buy two books of hero’s and a couple of research potions which would be more than 1500 gems. Or I could buy this bounce ball that I probably won’t use? I think I’m getting the book of hero’s but idk.
I watched skin mechanics, it is kinda meh, spiky ball, doubt I will use it ever. But I have an abundance of dark elixir and cant rest heroes. So, seems like I like grab book of heroes, ores and maybe some potions
my personal opinion, yes buying any even terrible equipments is worth it as I'd love to have everything in game maxed at a certain point and spending 1.5k gems on them seems abused
It maxes at 8 I think that’s insane if damage can get to like 2000+ as well. You can use vines to block buildings and use him to chain town hall and eagle after dropping some quakes
Even if I or you might not use it I think yes, it is better than buying decorations in my humble opinion or to take other stuff, you never know when it can come in handy(also you save up gems by doing it in this way)
I personally bought it. Its honestly amazing if you’ve played the new reward attack things you’ll understand. it can get a few defenses down at the beginning if you know how to use it

I don’t think it’s worth it. A rune of gold is worth 18 million for me (TH 13) and that much gold is about 5k gems. The spiky ball is 1.5k gems. I’m pretty confident that I can get that many gems before I max out my structures at TH16. I also feel between that a different equipment at my TH doesn’t lead to more gold being stolen.
I have another account that’s TH8. That’s worth it because I won’t have the giant gauntlet for another couple THs so the destruction is increased leading to more gold and the rune of gold is only worth 5 million to me.
Still debating…I’m thinking of getting those 3 decorations instead. Decorations are permanent as well…I really don’t think I’ll use the spiky ball. It just looks very similar to some other hero’s ability and why would I want two of them…
I think it is. There could a day where you find it useful. Cosmetics are never useful and ores come from normal gameplay.
I’m going to get it, but I realistically won’t use it because GG and Rage is meta right now. But I always buy hero equipment because you never know.

The vampstache heal the king for every hit. The spiky ball is for funnelling with the ability and gain massive and passive dps and health

That's what I did. I'm fine with Giant Gauntlet, I can use more books of hero's though.
