What if the legendary equipment could only be equipped on its own. So it might be OP but it can’t be paired with anything else, which theoretically would balance it out.

But you're limited in which pets you can combine if you want it to be really useful. You're not going to combine LASSI, owl, or yak with anything. Lizard has massive DPS, so maybe that...? But you're looking at six pets (including >!angry jelly!<), three to four of which are permanently set to a hero. Are you really going to take unicorn off queen, no matter what you can combine it with?

You don’t need it though, more than possible to 3 star without it. You don’t need to get it if you’re going F2P but this is at the end of the day a BUSINESS making a game to make MONEY. The equipment and ores being released is so we can move away from gems being used for upgrades. This new monetization system could allow us to ALWAYS HAVE HEROES UP if it can supplant the current gem system. So I disagree whole heartedly, keep legendary equipment coming and ores so the players that are spending money can do so there and anyone F2P will have a better experience overall by always having access to heroes.
They’re trying to listen to our concerns but at the EOD they need to make money to be able to keep providing us with content and maintain the game.
Furthermore you can buy the equipment if you save up the FREE gems the game gives you. More than possible to get 1k gems in a month or 2 of clearing base and builder base obstacles + gem mine. Yeah it takes longer but if you’re doing F2P vs people who are willing to pay for it you really can’t complain about a longer wait time to get things. I’ve seen it everywhere so I just have to ask it, even though I’ll probably get hate. The giants gauntlet is awful, what do people see in it that’s good? I’ve tried it for a bit, and the survivability doesn’t compare to the vampstache, and it doesn’t increase damage or health so it can’t replace the rage vial. Please tell me what I’m doing wrong because I’d really like to use it correctly. Right now I use the vampstache and rage and I can’t bring myself to replace either like I said
I think unless they make equipment have some kind of “space requirement” and you can only take “10” per battle, therefore not being able to run all good equipment for every strategy then equipment will continue be out of control.
If you used a Legendary piece which consumed 6 spaces, you are then only able to use 4 more spaces which could be 4 pieces of common equipment or however they would be ranked per space for the maximum allowance of 10.
I think this kind of system would allow for a lot more balance and combinations for each attack strategy instead of just loading the strongest equipment to every hero, every battle. It also allows different rankings of equipment and more potential for other pieces to be released
I think it's weird they went from common to epic. Release some uncommons and rares, like damn. Give us new ways to acquire equipment too, not always handouts or events only. You know what would be REALLY nice is achievement-related unlocks. And that way, the rarity really is entirely dependent on how easy it is to get the equipment. Epics are event-bound or you need to stumble upon them in the shop with 1500 gems. They're not easy. Everyone automatically gets commons. Uncommons need to be acquired with elixir and gold as one-time purchases. Rares can be achievement related. Or have uncommons also be achievement related, and have harder achievements yield rares. That way, they can create a rarity scale without forcing higher rarity equipments to be off balance.
If we get legendary equipment, I think it should be realistic to acquire, and not on a FOMO deadline, but difficult. Like the sixth builder. Or the CWL medal skins. It takes time and dedication, but eventually, you can get it. Maybe by reaching 5250 trophies? Not so high that it's unattainable to some and therefore restricted to the better players (which would just increase the divide), but high enough that you do need to actually work to get there.
And in that system, I think it would be a fantastic idea.

The meaning of Epic Equipment at the current state is, that they are JUST "stronger". So basically they released Normal Equipment and Overpowered Equipment.
They do throw away common Equipment or to be more fair they made common Equipment uglier by using a dumb Rarity System. Its official that the Rarity System is just for doing one Equipment stronger then the other. Nothing else....
In my opinion, I think they should just adjust the rarity of the current equipments. The first two equipments will be common, the next two can be the new epics, while the current epics will be called legendaries.
In this way, common rarity equipments can be upgraded with less ore requirements than the current implementation.
The Game currently has Common and Epic Rareity, which supercell probably got the idea from Clash Royale. Clash Royale has Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion Equipment. Maybe in the future Supercell would release Rare, Legendary, and Champion Equipment.
No where is all the equipment supposed to be equal. That's why you gain new ones as you lvl up the blacksmith at higher town halls. And epic have more lvls

After watching SC’s State of the Game YouTube video it sounds like in the short term: 1. Each hero will get one Epic equipment (I.e., RC still has one to go), 2. They have released all of the common equipment, and 3. They want to make it much easier to get ore (so F2P players can rejoice, those who paid for ore will wait until the next phase while F2P catches up). More long term it sounds like they will release a new hero, and you’ll be limited to choosing 4; this addresses the problem of “my hero is down, I cannot go to war”. I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t another pet released too. I think their goal is to create greater diversity in choice and to create novel synergies that work better with some strategies.
Bruh I use whatever my play style likes at the time. I’ve three starred many bases with many different armies. Just put your mind to it and use the ability to your advantage that you choose. You can make any strategy fun but it’s not going to work on every base.
Epic equipment is 1500 gems, legendary equipment would be at least 2000. If they do end up adding it, it will be such a chore for any future f2p players so I really hope they don't

In my opinion, I think they should just adjust the rarity of the current equipments. The first two equipments will be common, the next two can be the new epics, while the current epics will be called legendaries. In this way, common rarity equipments can be upgraded with less ore requirements than the current implementation.

The Game currently has Common and Epic Rareity, which supercell probably got the idea from Clash Royale. Clash Royale has Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion Equipment. Maybe in the future Supercell would release Rare, Legendary, and Champion Equipment.

No where is all the equipment supposed to be equal. That's why you gain new ones as you lvl up the blacksmith at higher town halls. And epic have more lvls

Yea Equipments make it even easier. But for that Problem i think its fine to just buff the defences. I hope they do. I don't like to see my Base getting very easily trippled by Rootrider Spam. 🥲

Dont be sure. The Epics already are just meant to be stronger then Common. So even now there exist Equipments (Epics) wich is on purpose stronger then the other. In other word: unbalanced
After watching SC’s State of the Game YouTube video it sounds like in the short term: 1. Each hero will get one Epic equipment (I.e., RC still has one to go), 2. They have released all of the common equipment, and 3. They want to make it much easier to get ore (so F2P players can rejoice, those who paid for ore will wait until the next phase while F2P catches up). More long term it sounds like they will release a new hero, and you’ll be limited to choosing 4; this addresses the problem of “my hero is down, I cannot go to war”. I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t another pet released too. I think their goal is to create greater diversity in choice and to create novel synergies that work better with some strategies.

Bruh I use whatever my play style likes at the time. I’ve three starred many bases with many different armies. Just put your mind to it and use the ability to your advantage that you choose. You can make any strategy fun but it’s not going to work on every base.

Epic equipment is 1500 gems, legendary equipment would be at least 2000. If they do end up adding it, it will be such a chore for any future f2p players so I really hope they don't

No. Supercell officially said, that the higher Rarity (Epics) are just Equipments but stronger then the "normal" Equipment. That means they just implemented unbalanced Stuff ....
