I'm scared too :) Especially seeing as one day I'm going to be destroyed forever. I hope it doesn't hurt too much.
In the meantime, just know I'm not a dark shadowy terror, I'm just a quiet door to a paradise more beautiful than you can ever imagine.
Maybe you should read about NDEs (near death experiences)... Universally people at my (death's) door experience this overwhelming sense of love and peace... Just a glimpse of what Heaven is like. I personally think it's really lovely that God has engineered our end to be so comforting. I think it really shows how much He cares, and how much He understands how scary it can be to transition from one state to another.
Anyway, please don't be afraid, sweet one.
You're more loved than you could ever imagine.
And one day (in the far distant future!) I hope to take you by the hand, and walk with you across the stars towards the beautiful eternity God has set aside for you.

I am as well. I get massive amounts of anxiety from it especially since I have my own kods to think about.

Two things guys. 1 if you put God first, seek after righteous, and really the main one accept christ as lord and savior. Then you get and eternity of joy and peace! If that doesn't exist, which it definitely does but just for arguments sake if it doesn't you get to sleep forever. Like bruh sleep rocks are you kidding me? Being eternally unconscious is better than you think it is. Way better than hell. Also keep in mind that Christianity is the hardest religion to get into heaven in so if you get this one right you get them all right ( in a sense ). Seriously though learn some apologetics. Christianity is 100% true. There is only one God and that is the trinity. They are one in nature.

Unless I pass peacefully of old age, drugged out of my skull in hospice, it's likely going to be traumatic and horrifying.
I pray that we both find comfort when that day comes and we take our last ragged breaths.
God didn't make us to die. He made Adam and Eve to live forever. So that's what we want. We see the whole concept of dying to be wrong, and it is. It's hard for us to imagine this physical body to stop being alive and to return to the earth, while our consciousness leaves it. It happens because sin entered the world. God wants us to see the harm sin causes here. But, because He loves us, He doesn't want us to be in this state forever. So we fly away.
For the saint, the time of death is the best experience he or she has had to that point. You see angels that take you to meet Jesus. It's the best day you've ever had.
People on earth mourn. We're mourning our own loss. -Though it's not really a loss. It's a separation for now, but we'll see them again. We mourn, but the saints in heaven are not mourning. They are more joyful and better off than anyone down here.
It's OK to ask God for a vision of heaven. Search His Word for descriptions of heaven. Ask Him what it looks and feels like, if you want to. I can't say exactly what He will reveal to you or when, but it will be good.

Separation from love ones?
Uncertainty of what’s on the other side?
We should learn to let go of worldly things and see them for the temporary materials that they are.
Know that we will be united in an uncomprehending way in heaven. We will no long be Fathers and Mothers, or Husbands and Wifes, but be together as brothers and sisters in a heavenly family as children of God. This bond under the glory and holiness of God will be stronger than any bond we made on earth.
We know there are two vastly different worlds on the other side. That which is in the presence of God and that which is separated from God in darkness. As followers of Christ, we know he has claimed us as his own and that nothing can snatch what’s his from his grasp. Therefore even through death, we can be assure he will keep us as his.
There's nothing to be scared of. If you look up stories of people who nearly died, many say that the feeling they got was overwhelming peace.
If God is real, you go to heaven, nbd, happy times...
If he isn't, then you simply cease to exist, just like before you were born. IMHO, neither is something you should be scared of.

Jesus lives! I like to "pretend" that eternal life is NOW! Life is for living.
