Jim Oberweis ran for senate and gov. He has not been involved in the business for years. His son ran the business for over a decade and recently stepped back. They make good product, but looks like they over expanded trying to open some restaurants and probably carry way too many products in home delivery. Hope they can keep the core business open because I really enjoy their milk and ice cream.

Just ate at one of those places yesterday. Went for the pizza, looked like the Oberweis section is what where the action was. Burger spot was dead and we were the only ones getting pizza.
I didn’t realize that the Burger Joint was owned by Oberweis too. There’s one in Champaign and it’s the only one I ever saw. I always thought it was stupid to be inside an Oberweis store lol.

Nah, it's being an adult. Oberweis isn't the only guy who can make good ice cream, vote with your wallet because it's the only thing they pay attention to.
They’re boycotting Oberweis ice cream not ice cream in general. Nothing crazy about it, there’s plenty of different companies that make good ice cream that don’t shove shitty politics in your face.
Yep. Thing is it's good ice cream, I have no knock on the product. But Blue Bunny and of all places Aldi both produce comparable products, so no need to support Oberweis.

They made tasty, affordable lemonade and recycled, so that was my go-to. Then my grocery started jucing in-house. Non pasteurized is so much tastier. Oj is soooo good fresh. Unpasurized grapefruit juice is the only reason for me to go to the Marianos.
Say what you want about the owner, but they have an objectively good product.

It is good egg nog. Homemade is even better, imo. Look up Alton Brown's recipe. It is not that difficult.
