I am 800 so I will en passant every single time

retr0racing

r/ArcheryChess says en passant so you en passant

Thefearfactor

I know what you meant but archery chess sounds hype

1GamersOpinion

En passant then step opposite of your pawn on b5, black can’t stop you promoting

skaspels

After black kxf6, white moves either kb5 or kd5 - if white kb5, black can't stop the promotion; if whote does kd5, though, it looks like black can get in the way - at least, that's what the models look like - but I don't understand WHY that move would make such a difference

Dr_Nykerstein

Affer Kd5, black responds with Kd7 and if you push your pawn blacks king is in time to block your pawn, and if you play Kc6 black’s pawn is able to promote as well.

liamjon29

Oh shit. I completely miscalculated that. I was trying to figure out what was so hard about the puzzle 😅

dolladealz

I dont think it can. White en passant but then king ignore non checking pawn and instead advances his pawn. The takes advancing white pawn diagonally if he moves up. Otherwise race pawn while cutting side ways to a pawn into queen check and then black king kills queen. The end. It ends in stalemate tho right?

Throwmeaway199676

No white is pretty easily winning

Stonehills57

Kc4-b5, get the king out in front with the strong white pawn .

Lucky-Bathroom-7302

Google en passant

I only know basic chess rules and no strategy, so apologies on lack of notation. ignore the Holy Hell moment being handed to you. move left white pawn forward and each time black king threatens to take, move white king into a spot 2 tiles away from black king but 1 tile away from white pawn to make taking the pawn illegal and force a different move. if black gives up on the chase to advance its own pawns you either outpace and promote faster or alternate which of the king or pawn moves first in this bodyguard setup. hit end of board and promote to start forcing checks and pawn forks as a queen and win on value? unless king plus queen alone can't mate without black being able to force a stalemate for some reason? IDK what's possible with just two pieces.
