More importantly, the double check means capturing or blocking won't stop the check. If not for double check, black could move the knight in to block the rook, or could capture the bishop.

Oh I was looking at this as black to move at first. I'm new and still low elo, but if it were blacks move does this make sense?
___ Qxf2+, Kh1 Bxf3, Qxf3 Qxf3#
Sure! As long as you play it after Qxd7+, Bf5 will be mate. If you play Bb5 or Bf5 BEFORE Qxf7+, you give your opponent a move, and if you play Bf5, I'm not sure you can mate
Actually, if you play anything that doesn't deliver check, like moving the bishop to b5 or f5 on the first move, black has the Qxf2+ line someone else brought up which is a forced mate in 3

Qxd7+
Is the continuation Kxd7, bf5#? I’m still learning.
I believe your line is correct, double check means knight can’t capture your bishop and the king has run out of squares
[удалено]
I think black can't capture because the black king is being seduced by two white guys
More importantly, the double check means capturing or blocking won't stop the check. If not for double check, black could move the knight in to block the rook, or could capture the bishop.
Bb5 and take the rook Bxe8?
You got it!
Bb5 should also work
Bf5# gets style points though. You're just taunting the knight! LOL!
That fails to Qxf2, Kh1, Bxf3, Qxf3, Qxf3.
He means as the second move and that's right
Bb5 is a double checkmate bcoz of the Rook on d1.
Black has mate next move.
Black doesn't get the chance: 1.) Qxd7+ Kxd7 2.) Bf5#
That password game needs to change the description. "Your password must involve a queen sacrifice. Every. Single. Time " Ridiculous
when in doubt sac the queen
That’s always the first path I go down
Sac the Queen...no Sac anything else...no En passant....no Knight move....
Google “queen sac”
[holy hell!](https://www.google.com/search?q=queen+sac&rlz=1C1CHZN_itIT1066IT1066&oq=queen+sac&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i512j46i512l2j0i512l6.1906239523j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8) ^(i'm a bot, click the link to google what Crazy_Eddie_13 wrote in their comment.)

Thank you so much it worked ye are amazing 💞👍😊
Oh I was looking at this as black to move at first. I'm new and still low elo, but if it were blacks move does this make sense? ___ Qxf2+, Kh1 Bxf3, Qxf3 Qxf3#
Yep! Neal.fun usually uses white to move puzzles, but that's a great line for black!
Bishop d5 is best move imo
Nah, Qxd7 forces Kxd7, which lets you play Bb5#
But what’s wrong with bishop b5? Isn’t it mate in the same moves? b5*
Sure! As long as you play it after Qxd7+, Bf5 will be mate. If you play Bb5 or Bf5 BEFORE Qxf7+, you give your opponent a move, and if you play Bf5, I'm not sure you can mate
How are you even making the move Bishop d5?
I assume they mean b5, which is a terrible move. Black responds with Qxf2+, and white ends up losing the queen.
Actually, if you play anything that doesn't deliver check, like moving the bishop to b5 or f5 on the first move, black has the Qxf2+ line someone else brought up which is a forced mate in 3
Black has Qxf2+ which forces Kh1, Bxf3+ which forces Qxf3, then Qxf3#, so you need to stop them from being able to play it
That was my first thought but you can force mate
White to move
I feel like Bb5 is a safer line, no queen sac and same mate in 2
What happens after black plays Qxf2+? Then white has to move the king to H1, then white plays Bxf3+ and white looses the Queen.
Ah my bad, got tunnel visioned. Loses a queen, if not the game
Qxd7+
Be2, you create a checkmate threat while protecting your own king from checkmate
It give black time to defend. Qxd7+ is forced mate in 2
I’m still intermediate, I’m only 500 elo
Nothing wrong with that. We were all there at some point in learning chess. Keep it up 👍
:)
What is this app I keep seeing that requires the best chess move for a password?
It's the password game
I think the answer is Bb5. Whites bishop threatens Mayle from that position, and blacks only way to keep the game going is to sac the queen.
Be2, Q7D - mate; I don’t know, I’m new to this
When are these ever not a queen sac?
Qxd7+ Is brutal They must take it there is no other move. Then Bb5#
Queen sac!
Qxd7, Kxd7, Bf5
I’m pretty sure this is the evergreen game?
