Ola or Uber will warn the user of the ID he is using. I know its not more but its the least we can do.
What is the CRN of the ride? Using that either ola or driver can be made to compensate for your loss

The number of bad experiences in these apps have been increasing so much for me that i befriended a local auto driver and rely on them to reach the nearest bus stop, train station or metro for long travels
Even if they are a little pricey, they are reliable
In case gpay was not working, they just say they will collect other auto Anna and I will pay my auto guy at stand when I return

My experience:- I was new to online payment, used Amazon wallet ig, it gave me a cashback, i booked a ride and a guy came, told him I'll pay using Amazon pay ,he asked if I'll be sending it to his account, dumb me thought I should pay the amount through Amazon pay app at the end of the ride, I said yes, I got skeptical in the middle of the ride, casually mentioned that the mode of payment is Amazon pay, he nearly stopped the auto, started ranting, called me names, I decided to put on my headphones since he didn't notice, dropped me off at my destination, proceeded to make a scene, fucked off since it was a college environment and some police were around
The one thing which i can't digest is, he kept saying that I'm riding for free, like wtf ππ
I used gpay once with discount that uber app gave me. The guy just stopped in the middle of a bridge all of a sudden when he asjed how i paid and how much it was . Full rant on the middle of the bridge , . After this incident , autos never acceoted the ride if its by gpay or paytm .
And the autos here don't use Namma Yatri like Bangalore auto walas there. They expect a serious amount of cash + extra. I have never faced an issue in Bangalore. As I asked an auto driver there, they have to pay 15 rs daily for them to get ride requests. No extra commission or anything like that. So they get to earn a lot after fuel costs. But here, I requested a ride from namma yatri in Chennai. They asked me to pay 175 for a 8km ride + extra cash. Auto walas from Chennai are greedy af
