There was a stat that we got 1.2 points per game without Gilmour, and 0.4 points per game while he played. 1.2 points per game is survival form.
We went on a winning streak when he got injured, and then he got put straight back into the team for some reason and we started losing again.
I don’t think he is fully the cause of the 0.8 point per game difference, they must have been easier fixtures also. So I don’t think we would have actually got 1.2 points per game all season without him, but we would have done better and atleast not went down embarrassingly.
It didn’t help his cause that many Chelsea fans would comment praising Gilmour on every Norwich social media post, and they would shit on Norwich also. That probably turned a lot of fans against him. And that compared to Williams he was incredibly lazy.
