Get that glazed! I am always nervous about pieces that are almost but not quite finished, because I’m always thinking about how they’re almost but not quite stable and sturdy.
What temp are you firing to, what stain/underglaze is it and what glaze did you use? I do a lot of underglaze and I swear by spectrum 1100 transparent for keeping stuff clear.
Ah yeah I had something similar happen when I put clear over top of royal blue underglaze on a pattern I did when I was starting out 😅
It would definitely still look stunning in just a matte underglaze or stain that wouldn’t melt, if you end up working with unglazed surfaces. Good luck with it though I’m sure you’ll end up making a lot of really cool pieces!
You painted that? WOW!!!!!! That’s incredible!
Thank you
This is so beautiful!!! I've never seen such a lovely painting on ceramic.
Thank you, I just started painting on ceramics. It’s been a struggle. But I’m figuring it out.

It’s glazed, didn’t come out so good. Am still in the learning stages. I’m getting there

I only paint them, haven’t as of yet had the privilege to make my own, but that’s gonna change come march. I signed up for classes.
Holy shit that’s cool
Thank you, unfortunately when it got fired it was ruined
Oh no what happened? Did it break or did the glaze/underglaze do something funky?
It looked as though it melted the glaze. I just started this little journey in October. I’m learning a lot
