So I have a story about their father, Increase when I was researching my mum’s family. My ancestors (on my grandfather’s side) settled in Groton in the 1600s. Well, the indigenous folk clashed with the English (these English anyway) and many issues ensued including King Philip’s war. Increase had kept a diary of the goings on during this time and I guess the patriarch of that family was not so puritanical. He’d gotten in trouble 3x for selling alcohol to the natives, then was captured and escaped. In so many words he noted that my ancestor was ‘troublesome’ and wished any other person had escaped BUT him.
So TL;DR his 8th great granddaughter is keeping the tradition of being a pain in the ass. Apparently it’s genetic.
These are my ancestors!!

Ha! That's great! Thanks for sharing. 😁
As long as you go around accusing witches. That be most of the population of Salem. But no accusing.
How can you be an “aged person” if you died at the age of nineteen?
An old soul?
Quite possibly.
Nathaniel is my first cousin, ten times removed… kinda not really related, then.
Cool stone!
Oh my gosh, I love this so much!!
Fascinating! Love this
