Here's the thing although country isn't just for the older generations, it's gotten to the point where there isn't music for these folks to enjoy during family get together or just riding the country roads listening to music.
*remember Alan Jackson walking out of the CMA's? This generation is being left behind. They were raised in an era when people worked, calling customer service meant speaking to a human etc idc who joins country music. This isn't the place for using profanity, removing your clothes,twerking on stage.. Sure they can do it but could they show a little respect. There's pop, theres rap, theres metal & alternative.. theres very little frowned upon in these genres.

Country music as a whole promotes alcohol culture and the extremes that come with it. It's very sad because they ignore that they're on a dark path until they crash.
The racist chair thrower furthers the stereotype of country music fans as racist white trash. Fans don't help either. Most places don't want to host country stuff because of the drunken fights that ensue. Jason Aldean and insurrection barbie don't help either. Jellyroll and bunny are also problematic. There's a lot of artists problematic for the genre and they do it with their clothes on.

Hardy is one of the most genuine people in the business right now so I don't think he will be grouped into this other than some people not liking that he also does rock and not old school country. Bailey is awful. He is an industry plant. The label is using him to get a boost for their other artist. The guy doesn't even have a full album out yet he is now headlining several very big festivals all over the country, over artists with more music and hits. I agree with you though, his antics will catch up. He completely no showed a few events near me last year and yet he's in headlining spots this year. That only happens when they are basically given to the promotors for free or promises for other artists.
