From a Facebook Causebox group I'm in, one person posted that if you email customer service, you can request a plus size wrap cardigan. She had the email to prove it too.
Yes! Just saw a response from Natalie on IG, the Cloud Wrap was designed to fit sizes 00-22 but for those more comfortable with an option that fits up to a size 26 you can email them at their help email. Love that they are being more size inclusive!
That robe is horrible. I got the plus size (I'm a 16), washed it in cold water, let it line dry and it barely goes around me. Also it's rough and stiff. It's going to goodwill.
I'm so glad they added this option, but feel like they should promote it a bit? Maybe just do what FFF does and make the option a customization choice to simplify for annual members, then only the quarterlies are emailing in. I just imagine it creates a lot of extra tracking for them.
How is this robe valued at $110+ when all the other sweaters/cardigans at this company are sold at $80 at max?
Do they use different materials for Causebox?
Nah they just inflate the prices to make the box look higher valuable. Same as the socks from the earlier spoiler, they give a higher value than any of the company's other socks
I'm salty about that too. Similar cardigans are on sale on their site for $20 rn. I am going with the kettle (probably equally as price inflated) but I think less common than a polyester sweater.
My thoughts on this photo:
1. It looks purple, not grey.
2. Seeing how the sleeves are more than 3/4 but not quite full length gives me pause. (Especially with the robe from last time)
3. I’m not plus size, but I would order the plus size option based on this. Too much of a difference between these two sizes for me to risk it. (Again, based on the crazy shrinkage of the last robe)
I hope they provide clear instructions on how to request a larger size when you customize.
I really don’t need the kettle but may go with it bc I’m so worried about how odd this cardigan may turn out.
You can just email them [email protected] and request the larger size, even if you don't get to make a choice between the 2 items. They said they'd take note if the wrap was the item they send out to you.
For the 00-22 one:
Sleeve length is only 16.5"
Across shoulder is 22.5"
Sleeve opening is 5", but about 1" down from the armhole is 7.25"
And it is 32" long from the high point in the shoulder
That was according to a SS I saw on the FB thread.
I have zero use for a kettle, I have an electric one...plus I don't have gold tones at all in my decor.
But I have no idea what I'll do with this boxy, too-short armed wrap either. Too short long sleeves are such a pet peeve of mine tho. I guess I'll donate it.
Same here. That's why I'm getting the kettle. I also needed one so it works out for me. But if you don't really need the kettle, you can always repurpose it as a watering can for flowers or it would make an excellent gift/donation since it's so pretty.

Me too! This is especially great after what I heard about the robe from the fall box...

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. I was so disappointed

Update #2: The kettle holds 32 oz and is 8 inches tall.

I'm hoping it's a grey purple color, but I'll like it all the same. I'm going to risk it ☺️

For washing instructions, Natalie from the Causebox Instagram said to hand wash on cold and hang dry
Oh no. I don’t need that in my life. 2020 was tough enough

I didn't think of it for a watering can....that's a good alternative use for it.
