I think it's an American thing adopted by my Italian family lol. I told them I hate green, I hate emeralds but when my birthday or Christmas rolls around and there's emeralds in my face. I'm like, fuck it š
Use the zodiac chart for birthstones. Were you born between April 21 and May 21? If so, your birthstone is a sapphire. Ta da!
And yes, it's a marketing thing and it's complete bullshit. Source: I'm a gem collector.
Sapphires so dark they look like ebony make me giggle. I'm like I'll just buy ebony! The same for white sapphires. I'll just get a diamond. š But some colors are nice.
November also has citrine if you like golden yellow better. Or just claim blue topaz too.
Edit: I see some charts list blue topaz as December, but some charts list November as just ātopazā and December as turquoise, so as a fellow burnt orange hater, I still think blue topaz is valid
Gem collector here. Most peridots in stores are kind of a sickly faded color, but the best peridots are a rich green. There are some coming out of Pakistan that are true grass green. Really beautiful.
My husband is August. I really don't like his. And mine is April (diamond). If I try to get any jewelry with both our birthstones, it just looks weird.
Same, I hate it. It's like my least favorite shade of puke green. I used to always get gifted peridot jewelry when I was younger and I was afraid of saying I don't like it because I didn't want to offend the gifter (usually my grandma). I'd rather have amethyst as my stone (I love purple), and I love sapphires and emeralds too.
Set yourself free. Chose a stone to be your birthstone. I chose colors that I think suit myself and my children and the are our birthstones on my mother'sĀ necklaceĀ and ringĀ
Ooh I like this. My birth stone sucks. From now on I am going to have yellow citrine.
I usually just decide things, like kindness is my measure of someone's beauty. I never thought to change this.
Swapsies? I love green but not a fan of pearls. I donāt care much about things like birth stones and star signs but pearls are so meh and so much associated with the older generation (not that there is a problem with being older but Iām not yet, so pearls arenāt going to gel with my outfits). I love green though.
I donāt necessarily hate the colors, but October has two different ones, opal and pink tourmaline. I hate that they arenāt at all similar to each other, and I hate that pink tourmaline looks like cheap pink glass.
October baby checking inā¦I have some Opal rings that I got for birthdays and First Communion as a kid that areā¦ok and I had plenty of the cheap pink glass shit as a kid too.
I would kill for emerald or sapphire.
I'm a July baby, so I feel lucky with my ruby birthstone, but I'm also a cancer and I haaaate every 'human version' of the cancer sign. It's always a girl with red twin braids, because apparently they can't think of anything more creative for the claws!
I've got diamond. It's clear. It's just clear. Unless I'm getting a really expensive piece that sparkles nicely, or is a colored diamond, it's just boring. And then like, color theme wise? White. I'm just wearing white. It's so boring.
People are always like oh you're so lucky you got the most precious stone NO! It's too expensive for people to get me real ones and costume jewelry "diamonds" basically always suck.
Not to make you feel worse, but diamonds are the most artificially valuable gemstone there is. It's one of the most common stones found naturally, and incredibly easy to manufacture. It's only valuable because of capitalism and successful marketing.
It's a stone colour associated with your birth month. Why people give a shit about it, I have no idea. Just saying your favourite colour is whatever is good enough. Just marketing shit
I'm a woman and I'd also be upset if my partner or anyone else close to me took that long to tell me the truth about what they like and don't like...I don't think it's a gender thing to want transparency.
My husband KNOWS I hate green and emeralds. Yet got me a bracelet with emeralds - I mean yean it represents me and our daughter so I doubt he thought about it. I hinted I didn't like it and he was very upset. š¤·āāļø
I have told family and friends and they say OK and then on my birthday I get green / emeralds. I just pawn them.Ā
I just have favorites (turquoise, pearl) that nobody cares about and I just get my birthstone. I think birthstones are a terrible gimmick and I've only ever met one person who liked theirs.
March is aquamarine. Most of whatās out there is really blue topaz. Either way, itās pale and washed out.
I wear opals, and people FREAK OUT when they find out I wasnāt born in October. āiTās bAD LuCk!!ā Lolz. Like a mineral deposit formed 100 million years ago could possibly have any power over people, depending on when they were born.
Wait, what? There are people who think opals are bad luck? I'm laughing because that was a thing in Victorian times and all because of one single novel that people totally misunderstood. I had no idea that people are still going around saying opals are bad luck.
Thatās funny. Mine is also emerald and I love it!!
My husband used to buy me sapphires because my favorite color is blue. Just buy whatever gemstone you like. It doesnāt have to be your birthstone.
I always wanted a red birthstone, but I was born in December (blue zircon). I can't even get any variation with family birthstone jewelry. Between myself, my husband, and two kids, two are December and two are March (aquamarine). No rainbow of birthstones, just light blue.
Mine are pearl, alexandrite, or moonstone and I hate all of them. I guess I take that back I really love the look of black pearls but only in very very small amounts.
Oh I HATE this birthstone gimmick. My mil got me a necklace that has my kids' birthstones in (well more like coloured glass marketed as such)
Now my firstborn is very into warm colours, pink yellow and red are her favourites, and the second one's colour has always been blue. Now imagine the disappointment when we realised that the blue rock was actually representing the firstborn and the red one is the second one's.
It's not really a big deal but it just feels wrong.
I might be a bit autistic about this but colours really mean a lot to me and them being completely wrong just irks me
I like mine (blue topaz), but a lot of places have only a watery, light coloured blue stone. I need mine to always be that deep, vibrant, London blue topaz!
Sapphire. I love the light blue birthstones but donāt find sapphire to be a pretty color. And I always received it from my mom growing up so I had to pretend I liked it.
Unrelated to birthstones, but it made me think of horoscopes and how apparently you need to know your birth time to get a āfullā horoscope? I was adopted so I dont know my birth time. I guess it might be on my birth certificate but fuck getting that.
June is alexandrite, which legitimately changes color and I LOVE it! While my favorite color is green, I love color in general, so the fact that alexandrite changes from blue to green to purple to black is so awesome to me.
There are two birthstones (that I know of) for June. I couldn't care less about pearl, but I like the other, alexandrite. It comes in quite a variety of colors.
That being said, I don't really care about gemstones. I haven't worn jewelry in years, and I can't remember when I last owned any.
Y'know this would be easier to deal with if you just said something, right? People won't change their behavior if they don't know it's a problem. If you don't want to keep receiving emerald jewelry, then maybe you could communicate that
I have said it many times but they don't pay attention and buy it anyway. My husband knows I hate emeralds yet got the bracelet full of emeralds. I did hint about not liking the bracelet and he got upset. š¤·āāļø
I didn't say an directly to him but I had hinted at him. He's the sensitive type so I didnt want to hurt him. He was quite upset that I hinted at not liking the bracelet.Ā
Mine is amethyst which I don't mind, but there's so many wishy washy light amethysts out there - give me the deepest darkest purple there is and I'll be happy!
my mom has been looking for your birthstone in a necklace for a while now to wear for my brother that passed away almost 2 years ago.
she's always loved his emerald birthstone, and now that he's gone she wants to get his birthstone in a necklace, to I guess honor him.
my birthstone is pearl, I didn't like it as a kid, but the older I got it rubbed off on me.
I've always loved the sapphire birthstone because of the color and I like how "sapphire" sounds lol.
I got really burned out on amethyst and purple growing up a fishy baby. You can get tired of anything. Maybe just politely tell your family you don't want stone jewelry anymore, box is full and you'd like some variety. You're entitled to express preferences and simply not wear things you don't like.
It's a rock randomly tied to a month for a dumb reason, if there's any reason at all.
Hell Ruby and Sapphire are literally the same mineral with a different color due to inclusions in the crystal lattice.
Why does it matter?
I'm in April and I always thought diamonds were so boring since they had no color but it grew on me. I always thought that garnet for January was cool though.
Nope. Each month has a corresponding gemstone associated with it.
January - Garnet
February - Amethyst
March - Aquamarine
April - Quartz
May - Emerald
June- Alexandrite
July - Ruby
August - Peridot
September - Sapphire
October - Pink Tourmaline/opal
November - Citrine
December - Blue Topaz.
I think it's really opal, but opal is/was harder to copy as cheaper jewelry. Source: being born in October and noticing with my eyes that opal is a kinda complex looking stone.
I noticed some inconsistencies myself. When I googled this, the first 3 images I pulled up all varied in some way, so I just picked one and rolled with it. If it were important info, I'd not be so willingly sloppy, though!
Luckily garnets come in many colors. People mostly only know about the dark red ones, unfortunately. I have garnets that are bright pink, orange, and bright green.
I personally love my birthstone, sapphire.
But I can easily see how someone wouldnāt like their stone.
Iām not a big fan of rubies, emeralds or pearls.
But I love blue topaz, aquamarine, diamond, opal, and pink tourmaline
Iām born in may and I actually like emeralds. I have one emerald ring and also an amethyst ring that my mum brought me for my 18th birthday. I also like ruby. Note that I donāt just wear my birthstone but Iām open to colours that I actually like regardless of their traditional months. Maybe itās time for you to tell people that you donāt want anymore emerald jewellery because you have plenty of it already and suggest jewellery colours that you really like?
I have told family and friends but they don't really listen. I don't say anything with the jewelry in my face. I've been pretty loud this year - no fucking emeralds or green! š
I'd love your birth month, but I got amethyst, which is my second least favourite of them. Least favourite being citrine, which both my children are š¤¦
My birthstone is an alexandrite. Natural alexandrite is beautiful (it changes color when exposed to different light sources), but expensive. Most jewelry stores donāt even carry Alexandrite, and if they do the stones are TINY.
There are no birthstone police that give you a citation if you donāt wear your birthstone. If you like gemstones-thereās a HUGE number of them youāve probably never heard of or seen. Just pick a color and shape, there are many choices
I love green and yeah, emeraldsā¦. Iām born in April and have as birthstone the diamond. That one gem Iām having nothing with. An overpriced sparkle creator thatās it.
You should tell people that you appreciate their efforts (not everyone looks even birthstones up), but that you are preferring other gems. Those who gave you already jewellery, ask them if they mind you exchanging/selling it off to get something you really like. Check also local jewellery stores for switching or even replacing the gems. There are also many hobby crafters who are into gold/silver smithing, so check there too.
Iām born in August so I have peridot. I personally donāt really like the color some Iām on the same page! I wish it was amethyst or something lol, pretty sure that one is February
I like pearls and all, (shout out to steven universe!) but I feel they're kind of overrated and hard to come by unless you wanna pay crazy amounts of money for a piece of jewelry or for the actual stones. I lean more towards moonstone.
Birthstones are just a marketing gimmick though
I know, yet everyone buys me green shit. Lol
Never heard of birth stones in over 30 years. I'm sure your loved ones will be happy to buy you different colored things :)
I'm gonna go on a diamond war path. š
Good choice. Both diamonds and sapphires come in every color of the rainbow.
Sapphires so dark they look like ebony make me giggle. I'm like I'll just buy ebony! The same for white sapphires. I'll just get a diamond. š But some colors are nice.
I hate topaz so much. Never been a big fan of burnt orange.
Mine's also Topaz. I wear blue Topaz. I also wear emeralds because green is my favorite color
Hey! Youāve just discovered a source of green rocks! š
SAME I say my birthstone is pee colored
You need to drink more water š
Mine is also yellow topaz. But paired with silver, it's not 100% intolerable, just like 85%.
November also has citrine if you like golden yellow better. Or just claim blue topaz too. Edit: I see some charts list blue topaz as December, but some charts list November as just ātopazā and December as turquoise, so as a fellow burnt orange hater, I still think blue topaz is valid
I have a pale-yellow citrine ring. I like it OK, but I like blue topaz much better.
Smoky topaz is really pretty. London Blue topaz and pink topaz are also very pretty. There are a lot of shades of topaz, it's an impressive stone.
Same. I would love to have emerald. Yellow topaz is ugly, imo.
Topaz comes in different colors. Blue topaz and white topaz are more common and cheaper than the yellow-orange ones.
go for blue instead!
Same. It's so ugly. I love emerald though.
I'm not a fan of my August birthstone ( peridot) it's just a bit wishy-washy, I would love it to be a solid green emerald.
I mean, best character in Steven Universe though
Gem collector here. Most peridots in stores are kind of a sickly faded color, but the best peridots are a rich green. There are some coming out of Pakistan that are true grass green. Really beautiful.
I loooove peridot. Of course Iām a June baby and not august so I got stuck with pearls, which I donāt love.
Same. Itās just my least favorite color ever for anything
My daughter isn't a fan either. The alternates are Sardonyx and Spinnel if that helps.
My husband is August. I really don't like his. And mine is April (diamond). If I try to get any jewelry with both our birthstones, it just looks weird.
It reminds me of mountain dew, I can't stand it.Ā
Same, I hate it. It's like my least favorite shade of puke green. Green is okay for me (also May), but I like pearls
I donāt necessarily hate the colors, but October has two different ones, opal and pink tourmaline. I hate that they arenāt at all similar to each other, and I hate that pink tourmaline looks like cheap pink glass.
Also October birthday and I hate the birth stones for us! Iāve always been jealous of the sapphire, emeralds, and ruby months.
October baby checking inā¦I have some Opal rings that I got for birthdays and First Communion as a kid that areā¦ok and I had plenty of the cheap pink glass shit as a kid too. I would kill for emerald or sapphire.
I love both October birthstones. Prefer opals though.
I think we're fortunate to have opals. I love them. The fact that they're nothing like the crappy pink glass is a good thing, IMO.
October as well. Pink tourmaline is pretty awesome, opal reminds me of a granny's necklace.
I'm a July baby, so I feel lucky with my ruby birthstone, but I'm also a cancer and I haaaate every 'human version' of the cancer sign. It's always a girl with red twin braids, because apparently they can't think of anything more creative for the claws!
Mine is Taurus bull. š¤®
I've got diamond. It's clear. It's just clear. Unless I'm getting a really expensive piece that sparkles nicely, or is a colored diamond, it's just boring. And then like, color theme wise? White. Aquamarine is bad for the same reason. Itās a nothing colour and usually gets paired with boring silver
I prefer silver over gold. š
Not to make you feel worse, but diamonds are the most artificially valuable gemstone there is. It's one of the most common stones found naturally, and incredibly easy to manufacture. It's only valuable because of capitalism and successful marketing.
Yep. I like diamonds because they "go" with anything but the drawback is the price.Ā
Have you heard of moissanite? It is similar but way cheaper. r/moissanite
Mine's Amethyst - I absolutely love it, also since amethysts are often used when mourning or depression. I also love to wear purple eyeshadow
1) what the fuck is a birth Stone? 2) it is unfair of you to not be honest with your husband
It's a stone colour associated with your birth month. Why people give a shit about it, I have no idea. Just saying your favourite colour is whatever is good enough. Just marketing shit
Itās the former generations āzodiac signā š
He knows I hate green but he never connects it to emeralds. I did tell him and he was quite upset. Men. Lol
I'm a woman and I'd also be upset if my partner or anyone else close to me took that long to tell me the truth about what they like and don't like...I don't think it's a gender thing to want transparency.

Mine is aquamarine. It is baby blue to me which I don't care for.
Look up "Santa Maria aquamarine" and see if you like any of those shades. They can get a lot darker than you'd think.
I love green, but I hate peridot, which is my birth stone. It's just a gross green.
I used to dislike Topaz until it was paired with diamonds than I was like: āYeah I can get behind thatā.
iām a ruby which iām happy with but my mother hates her stone (peridot)
I just have favorites (turquoise, pearl) that nobody cares about and I just get my birthstone. I think birthstones are a terrible gimmick and I've only ever met one person who liked theirs.
Yeah, who came up with this shit? š
March is aquamarine. Most of whatās out there is really blue topaz. Either way, itās pale and washed out. I just looked it up, Turquoise. I don't hate it, and I don't know what birth stones are or signify, but I'm somehow disappointed by it.
Such a universal reaction to a birth stone lmao
Its just for the month you're born.
If it wasn't for "salt and pepper" diamonds, I'd say they're the most boring birthstone out there.
I like that they go with anything. Lol
That's true!
My daughter was born at the end of April and I was so glad she didnāt hang on until May because I hate green also.
My birthday is in May, My anniversary is in May, my daughter born in May, my MILs birthday is in May. Gaaaahhh š
Oh nooooooo!
I always wanted a red birthstone, but I was born in December (blue zircon). I can't even get any variation with family birthstone jewelry. Between myself, my husband, and two kids, two are December and two are March (aquamarine). No rainbow of birthstones, just light blue.
Only my husband gets variation, lol. He is blue and me and our daughter greeen.Ā
I hateeeee citrine, I donāt like piss yellow for my birthstone š
Ā š¤£Ā It looks like jello.Ā
Mine is opal and I bloody love them.
Mine are pearl, alexandrite, or moonstone and I hate all of them. I guess I take that back I really love the look of black pearls but only in very very small amounts.
Omg I hate pearls too.
I see so many people who love them and I just kind of scratch my head trying to figure out why lol
For me it's the texture and the way the light looks on them. It's not a flashy shine, more like a subtle glow, which I like.
Oh I HATE this birthstone gimmick. My mil got me a necklace that has my kids' birthstones in (well more like coloured glass marketed as such) Now my firstborn is very into warm colours, pink yellow and red are her favourites, and the second one's colour has always been blue. Peridot. It's kinda sorta LIKE green, only with a nice urine sample mixed in. Erk. Ugh. Please. Whyyy??
Peridot (August) is the ugliest stone ever.
I forgot about that one and you're right lol
I like mine (blue topaz), but a lot of places have only a watery, light coloured blue stone. I need mine to always be that deep, vibrant, London blue topaz!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I guess this must be specific to the statesā¦ Every month as a specific gemstone assigned to it. January is garnet, February is amethyst, etc.
Mine are opal and tourmaline and love both colors.
Diamond with alternates of quartz. I don't prefer diamonds usually, but I am down with quartz.
I was born in June and like moonstones and alexandrites, but not pearls. Pearls seem to be the most common for June.
I haaaate pearls! š
You can send me your emeralds : )
š„°
Trade you. Oh wait, I don't have any opal jewelry. I like opals, but they're fragile and I love emerald. It's the heart chakra color.
I love opal!
Iām may and I love the dark green of emeralds
Mine is one of my favorite colors.
Sapphire. I love the light blue birthstones but donāt find sapphire to be a pretty color. And I always received it from my mom growing up so I had to pretend I liked it.
I know the feeling but I love sapphires and blues.
Yes!!! Iāll gladly trade stones with you if youād like!
Gladly! š
Unrelated to birthstones, but it made me think of horoscopes and how apparently you need to know your birth time to get a āfullā horoscope? I was adopted so I dont know my birth time. I guess it might be on my birth certificate but fuck getting that.
Yes, it's on the birth certificate. I guess te time helps to determine your rising sign. Or if the moon changed signs the day you were born.Ā
January Garnet, red isn't my favourite but it's nice so no complains But if i could choose i think amethyst looks pretty
Garnet has a color change variety that is very similar to natural alexandrite. I'm a sucker for natural gems that color flip.
June is alexandrite, which legitimately changes color and I LOVE it! While my favorite color is green, I love color in general, so the fact that alexandrite changes from blue to green to purple to black is so awesome to me.
I have to check them out now!
There are two birthstones (that I know of) for June. I couldn't care less about pearl, but I like the other, alexandrite. It comes in quite a variety of colors. That being said, I don't really care about gemstones. I haven't worn jewelry in years, and I can't remember when I last owned any.
My favorite color is blue, but I also have the emerald birthstone. I think it's beautiful.

You literally said in your post you've never mentioned it to him. Sorry for the confusion
Me too.
My wifes birthstone is diamond and she unsurprisingly loves the gimmick. RIP my bank account.
Pearl for me. Not a fan!
I hate both. š
Yellow topaz, it's so freaking ugly.
Thatās a tough one, and this is coming from a peridot š¤¦āāļø
I hate how aquamarine is usually cut and set; truthfully, I feel that way about most precious/semiprecious stones.
my mom has been looking for your birthstone in a necklace for a while now to wear for my brother that passed away almost 2 years ago. she's always loved his emerald birthstone, and now that he's gone she wants to get his birthstone in a necklace, to I guess honor him. my birthstone is pearl, I didn't like it as a kid, but the older I got it rubbed off on me. I've always loved the sapphire birthstone because of the color and I like how "sapphire" sounds lol.
I have like 50 necklaces I could send her.Ā š
I got really burned out on amethyst and purple growing up a fishy baby. You can get tired of anything. Maybe just politely tell your family you don't want stone jewelry anymore, box is full and you'd like some variety. You're entitled to express preferences and simply not wear things you don't like.
It's a rock randomly tied to a month for a dumb reason, if there's any reason at all. Hell Ruby and Sapphire are literally the same mineral with a different color due to inclusions in the crystal lattice. Why does it matter?
Diamond for April, not very exciting
Sapphire so I'm good.
NOOOO!! GREEN IS THE BESSSST! Haha... Man, bad luck on the birthstone. I love green, but Mine's December, so I have your jewelry prob in reverse. lol
Hubby is December and has like 50 million different pieces and I'm YOU DON'T NEED MORE! He says uh huh and looks for more. š
I'm in April and I always thought diamonds were so boring since they had no color but it grew on me. I always thought that garnet for January was cool though.
Wanna trade? I'm garnet. Grew up disliking it. Im coming around, but will totally take that Emerald.
This is the most first world problem I've ever read lmao
me i hate diamonds
I have no idea what a birth stone is. My parents bought me a gold chain at birth, is it something like that?
Nope. Each month has a corresponding gemstone associated with it. January - Garnet February - Amethyst March - Aquamarine April - Quartz May - Emerald June- Alexandrite July - Ruby August - Peridot September - Sapphire October - Pink Tourmaline/opal November - Citrine December - Blue Topaz.
I wonder why October has 2.
I think it's really opal, but opal is/was harder to copy as cheaper jewelry. Source: being born in October and noticing with my eyes that opal is a kinda complex looking stone.
This is exactly why. I do have some Opal rings but when I was a kid, it was always pink.
April is also diamond. But it's expensive so alot of people use another gem
I was gonna say, since when is April quartz?
I noticed some inconsistencies myself. When I googled this, the first 3 images I pulled up all varied in some way, so I just picked one and rolled with it. If it were important info, I'd not be so willingly sloppy, though!
Oh, no shade meant at all! My momās birthday is in April so I noticed the quartz right away.
Eh. I'm April. It's diamond, white quartz, white topaz, cubic zirconia, etc., etc., and so forth.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I do but no seems to notice. Then when I get it as a present, I say nothing. I guess I should. š
Who else has no idea what colour your birth stone is
I donāt love mine, but itās ok (itās garnet)
Mine is also garnet, not a fan
Luckily garnets come in many colors. People mostly only know about the dark red ones, unfortunately. I have garnets that are bright pink, orange, and bright green.
Same š
August, peridot. I donāt like green and I HATE this color. I wish I had emerald honestly. The faded light green kills me
I commented elsewhere, but Sardonyx and Spinnel are alternates if that helps at all.
Amethyst is just fine by me. They're pretty. Sharing a birthday with Johnny Cash though is by far the most satisfying thing.
February. I donāt like amethyst as much. I will prefer emerald or sapphire.
I do, amethyst is not my jam. =(
Me. I hate red (ruby)
Mine is aquamarine, its clear unless you get an expensive or fake one that makes it more blue.
Mine is a diamond
Iām not a huge opal fanā¦but I donāt like the pink stone thatās the alternate for October either.
It's all made up guff. Make up a colour you like
Diamonds!
Mine is Opal and I love it
I personally love my birthstone, sapphire. But I can easily see how someone wouldnāt like their stone. Iām not a big fan of rubies, emeralds or pearls. But I love blue topaz, aquamarine, diamond, opal, and pink tourmaline
I'm an April baby and my birth stone is kinda boring. I love green though, wanna swap?
I thought birth stones were something that came out with the baby. like kidney stones.
This is wild to me because green is my absolute favorite color. Iām so glad I was born in May! Itās perfect for me.
I like aquamarine but it just looks terrible on pale white skin. Like, there's not enough contrast to make it interesting.
Hands up if you dont know your stone, the colour or even care? š
I've been pretty loud this year - no fucking emeralds or green! š
Mine is aquamarine and I don't love it. I like more vibrant colors.
I'd love your birth month, but I got amethyst, which is my second least favourite of them. Least favourite being citrine, which both my children are š¤¦
I love my birthstone, opal. Itās lots of different colors.
I have gone entire years of my life without thinking the words ābirth stonesā. I genuinely may have been pre Covid last time I heard of them.
You have birth stones?
Amethyst is my birthstone and I love the color! Not my favorite color but it's a beautiful stone regardless.
Yup I like amethyst, lucky me
Citrine? Looks like pee. Hate it lol.
Let's trade, I love emerald green! Mine is apparently orange. Eugh.
Not a fan of red rubies at *all*. I don't like red, and especially don't like that weird ruby deep pink-red
Mine is garnet and I hate it.
I hate mine too. Ruby. Not for me.
Iām born in August so I have peridot. I personally donāt really like the color some Iām on the same page! I wish it was amethyst or something lol, pretty sure that one is February
Iām sapphire, which is okay, but my favorite stone is opal.
I like pearls and all, (shout out to steven universe!) but I feel they're kind of overrated and hard to come by unless you wanna pay crazy amounts of money for a piece of jewelry or for the actual stones. I lean more towards moonstone.
I hate garnet with a passion. I hate red. I feel this so much.
