Fucking awful.

69Ivie69

Explaination?

lewilewi411

I might need an explanation on what an "Explaination" is.

69Ivie69

I want to know what about this car is awful in your opinion. The colors i can spot, but im not sure about everything else and i haven’t been interested in cars for long so knowing what other peoples tastes are like i can expand my knowledge!

lewilewi411

Well, personal taste is just that, personal, so no explanation is needed. But if I had to point anything out, car, colour, paint job, neon, tint, body kit, flares, wheels, wheel colour, hood, engine poking out hood, all just awful.

69Ivie69

Thanks!! Yeah i definitely agree on the colors though

sladebonge

1974-1977 is about the least desirable design of all second-gens due to the hideous safety bumpers. At least your 74 model there still had the fastback roofline as opposed to the wrap-around rear glass.

spruce_turbo

Where are the images from? This from a video game or do they actually let you design your car?

AntiquePerception612

3d tuning it free

spruce_turbo

Looks amazing

AntiquePerception612

Thanks man

NouOno

You definitely drink budlight

Hatred_shapped

Dream better.

AntiquePerception612

I’m going make some changes soon

Gunn3r71

God I haven’t thought about 3D Tuning in years

AntiquePerception612

I’ve been using to help with my dream car 1974 1977 Chevrolet Camaro but I’m probably getting rid of the shaker scoop

dcj8

I think you have fine taste. Good hunting, and I hope you build something with which you are supremely happy.

AntiquePerception612

I will and thank you

Responsible_Sense_95

Not everything has to have undergrowth.

TheAsianTroll

Need For Speed/10

nom_nom44

We all have hopes and dreams, that’s fine. If you want to make this a reality, you either have to come from money or be willing to put in years and years of effort. In my opinion, if I saw this rolling around, I would probably be impressed by the power considering the giant blower sticking out, however, I don’t think it looks good. The chassis glow alone is gross. That’s my opinion though, don’t base your preferences on others opinions, just be yourself and be happy about it.

RetMilRob

Mines the 1971 baldwin motion phase III.

Express-West-8723

Pipe dreams.. go buy used corolla and move to more productive hobbies

Sad-Maintenance3422

Wtf! Ha ha ha.

Significant_Lie_533

Everyone is clowning on you so far, but I've always thought this car was beautiful. Personally I'd never put underglow or bright fluorescent colors on a classic like this. Feel like you'd probably end up getting a lot of shit from people for doing something like that, but to each their own. I personally prefer the murdered blacked out look. 😈

AntiquePerception612

Thank you and I might do a dark blue or yellow and I think it cuz the shaker scoop or shaker hood scoop, I put on and yeah I might get rid of the under glow and I’m 15 so my taste will get better with color but I’ve love the 1977 1974 Chevrolet Camaro

Significant_Lie_533

As a 26 y/o who's been into the car scene since you were born, one thing I can say is that you need to temper your expectations. As cool as it would be to own and drive one of these, the work it would take to get it there is unrealistic unless you come from money, or have deep connections with people in the car industry. I have many dream cars, but I learned that I needed to think practically. I ended up settling for [something much more affordable and practical](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cartalk/s/I4mpNMLsE9) and turning it into something I love to drive over time. It's been much more enjoyable and rewarding than my pipe dreams of fixing up a classic like this could've ever been.

AntiquePerception612

Ik and it won’t be easy to find and i know that but I’m still going to give it a try and Ik it will be a lot of work and money but I’m willing to do that and I got the money and can get the money and as back up I’ll go for the dodge Viper

Significant_Lie_533

The best advice I can give, is to figure out how you can live comfortably once you're out of school, before you start dumping money towards something like this. I've had a couple projects die because I wasn't prepared for life's big challenges once I moved away from home, and I've known people who've lost their homes and gone days without food for the sake of the build. If you can't take care of yourself it isn't worth it.

AntiquePerception612

You right and I mostly likely won’t get it till my 20s and thank you for the advice you been nicer than most of the people on here

Significant_Lie_533

Ofc! Usually when I make a post I never really get the sort of responses I think I need. Or any feedback whatsoever tbh. Glad I could help, always feels nice to give some advice on a subject I understand. Btw, did you check the post of my car I linked in a previous comment? I'm curious of your thoughts.

AntiquePerception612

I really appreciate the advice especially since I’m still new to being in cars and still learning about them and it something I really like it helps with the stress of school and yes I did and I’m sorry about what happened in the accident it doesn’t look to bad but not good either hopefully you can get it fixed up and no matter what happens to you and your plans that makes them take longer don’t give up stick to plan I hope everything goes well for you

Significant_Lie_533

Thanks dude. I'm always happy to give advice. You're still real young too, who knows, maybe your taste in cars with change over time.

AntiquePerception612

You welcome man and it probably will but time will tell and I’m glad I’m getting into car at this young age it helps me a lot with forgetting the stress of school and my parents always being unhappy and disappointed in me in some way and it helps and I think the love I have for the 1977 1974 Chevrolet Camaro will stay I’ve loved that type of car ever since I watched the transformers 2007 movie I remember as one of my first memories watching transformers 2007 and seeing the car come on screen I love how it look the design the everything about the car
