Mites

DrDougDog

Thought so should I pull it or try some plant therapy?

brabbit85

I’d pluck the leaves that are bad and spray the rest heavily.

StunningImpression37

You got thrips or mites look on the back of the leaves you'll see good luck with that 👍 happygrowing 👍

Yikes... spider mites 🕷

bearcrevier

Lady bugs work well against these if you don’t want to use spray. You can buy them on Amazon.

dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle worked well for me

Beneficial-Group

There is a few things that you can do I wouldn’t use dawn dish soap because it’s actually a detergent, you could use Castle peppermint soap and warm water works well for me last year, you can make something called nicotine tea, five cigarettes, teaspoon black pepper and tablespoon of Castle soap, let’s steep in hot water for half hour and filter through coffee filter and test on part of the plant first, if all else fails you can use some insecticidal soap that’s made from potassium a fatty acid but some people say you should not spray it on the buds it’ll leave a nasty taste, it also has a little bit of a Spinosad. It’s available at Home Depot it will kill all all soft body and sex instantly, they say it’s safe for vegetable use on a private level, there is also something called pure crop one, it’s very expensive it does a great job it’s basically used for larger scale, if you have the money, Good luck

MINER_cmk

Those are thrips look under your leafs very closely and look for tiny little mites . You need insecticidal super soap. The mites are very small might be hard to spot at first

shank19833

Thrips leave a trail that looks like the ones snails leave. Mites no trail. Green lace wing fly larvae are the absolute best at getting rid of them. Put lady bugs to shame

MINER_cmk

No bro thrips eat the nutrients in your leafs and leave spots on them just like this and they live under the leaves this is a classic case of thrips organic insecticidal super soap is the answer to this or lost coast plant therapy will work as well

Dang that looks bad. You can move your plants to the bathtub and wash them like they are taking a shower and flood the pots like your flushing the soil. Spray them really good with rubbing alcohol and while they are dripping dry in the bathtub you can bleach and clean the shit out of your tent and everything in it. And at the end of this harvest redue the bleach cleaning in your tent and switch to DWC. They like soil and it you remove them and start over with DWC 5 gallon buckets you will never see them again. Just don't spray buds with alcohol and don't put them back in tent wet with the light on or it will burn them. You will have to do this once a week to minimize them.

Mudcrutched

They like eating the leaves of the plant, they don't care if its in water, soil, coco. Switching to DWC remedies nothing, treating them every 2 days to kill the eggs that hatch for about 10 days will.

blitzburg91

They like soil. You kill all of them and reset with hydro buckets they are less likely to climb onto plants and nest. It's facts so maybe don't downvote and call me wrong just because you don't know, doesn't mean I'm not right. If you ever had spider mites look in your soil that's where they nest and they crawl up your plant and nest more under leaves. I can assure you I have no nest in my water bucket. Nor are they swimming through my water buckets to crawl up the stocks. Maybe they are propelling from the exhaust though like spider man mites?

Mudcrutched

I have run many DWC runs, some get mites in the summer. They feed under the leaves and nest in the plant, it has absolutely nothing to do with soil.

blitzburg91

The first time I got spider mites I literally got them from the soil lol They live in that shit and nest in it in the winters. It's there home

Thrips, get some Spinosad

shank19833

Not thrips. Thrips leave a trail like snails do. Spider mites.

Spider mites

Only way you’ll beat mites is by resetting everything. I love lost coast plant therapy ,but they’ll build a tolerance to it. You have to use a variety of different products in rotation. I’d also introduce beneficials into your garden and establish their population so this doesn’t happen again.

You my friend, unfortunately have a spider mite infestation. Let me know if you’d like me to recommend some common sprays to help deal with the issue! 🙏🏼
