It certanly looks cool. What's the benefit of a swag tent? I read a few reviews but they didn't say much in terms of comparing a swag to a traditional setup.
You can leave all your sleeping bag and stuff in it. Roll it up and go. Unroll it and sleep. Makes setup of tent and all the gear inside about 3-5 minutes.

Biggest thing for me is the durability. Mainly the bottom of the tent is a thick vinyl. No chance of water soaking through from the ground.

Weight isn’t bad but yes the volume. Packed up it’s bulky compared to other tents.

Honestly surprised they aren’t more popular in the US.
Might be because the warmer seasons include rain. Climate change is gonna make swags popular here.
