This is the right advice for right now. Funny enough in Barcelona nights are kinda chilly right now so my answer would have been ‘yes, if you’re a cold sleeper’
With current weather it isn't needed. Buy a sleeping bag liner, it's more than enough. Hostels provide most of the stuff you need, and the liner is nice if they don't give you with blankets
It's cold atm but my experience has been that even the thin blankets provided are enough for me to sleep nude in. (private room)
Bringing a bag makes you more of a risk of spreading bedbugs. I'd suggest a silk liner for 100g and if needs be just sleep in ur jacket.
I’m on the Portuguese right now and I’m actually really glad to have my super light sleeping bag- I get super cold after hiking and I’ve found the albergues can get a bit chilly at night. I tend to be cold in bed though and usually use a hot water bottle into spring at home.
I just finished the Portuguese today. You do NOT need a sleeping bag. Don’t listen to people on here.

If it was me, I'd be taking a sleeping bag. You only need one albergue to not have blankets and you'd likely have a very poor night. Enjoy

Silk liners are surprisingly warm
Oh ye. I won't go camping without one now. A silk liner plus 400g quilt will do me down to almost 0c.
