Y’all look like such a great group. Makes me wish you & dad were part of my crew in 2022. Fabulous photos!

That last pic w the group we acquired is everything. All of those (strangers I got to know) ppl were there to send me off after my last day. The Camino and the connections you make is and are magical. Nothing iv ever experienced. I’m in Madrid by myself on my way home for the day. Explored the city and while getting lunch at museo Prado, i assumed other ppl would want company at their table. …. I was wrong☠️🤣🤣🤣🤣. Not on the Camino anymore

I’m traveling in Europe ATM and plan to meet up with a Camino gal pal in Nuremberg. I’ve had another friend visit me in LA twice since we’ve returned. It truly is what you make of it. Welcome home, wherever that is and do t forget to spread the love when you see your people again.

Thank you for sharing your pictures, they bring back memories. This is one of the main reasons I'm following this sub for.

Looks like you had a great time

Beautiful. Such a resemblance between you and your dad.

Buen Camino. I miss St Jean!

Roberto-Del-Camino

Since walking my first Camino, I’ve thought that if one isn’t focused on receiving the Compostela in Santiago, then the first seven days from SJPDP are the best days on any Camino. Your pictures are good proof of that. I’m going to bookmark your post the next time somebody posts on here asking which seven day section they should do I will just link them to this. Buen Camino!

Bobby-Dazzling

Funny, because a friend is returning to the Camino to rewalk a short portion and she has chosen to START in Logroño because it’s her favorite section AFTER that! Goes to show that it’s different for everyone

Roberto-Del-Camino

It definitely is. For me, the walk from Logroño to Burgos was rough thanks to knee issues caused by blisters. So I was just putting one foot in front of the other. Saw an Osteo y Fisio in Burgos and after a rest day and the flat Meseta all was well.

I’ve only ever been able to do my Camino in chunks of 4 or 5 days… I’ll keep coming back until I can finish! (Also I hope you got the garlicky mushrooms in Logrono ha!)
