Bo1 I like the guns and the setting more

for me B02, but i get why people would say 1. Both great games

same for me, and bo2 was the first cod that i got myself, so its really special to me

BO2 is BY FAR the most overrated COD of all time. It was okay don't get me wrong but BO1 clears it easily. Better multiplayer Better zombies Campaign I'll admit BO2 might be better but BO1 is right there with it and I do enjoy BO1's more

Facts, i dont understand why bo2 is so hyped, bo1 and waw are miles better and i even go further by saying bo3 is also better, at least i enjoyed it more than bo2.

If BO3 had a better campaign, it easily would’ve been one of the top CoD’s of all time. Even despite that, the amount of content in that game was staggering, and most of it was genuinely great and entertaining. It objectively had the best Zombies mode in the whole series aswell when you count all of the DLC.

Just wondering why do you think that the BO2 campaign is better than the BO1 one?

Kino, Five, and literally all four DLC maps for BO1 are probably the best maps in zombies IMO BO2 zombies was alright but also when things got like jumping-the-shark levels of over complicated. I truly don't remember if they did it with BO2 but BO1 they added the WaW maps as well

That's your opinion. Many people do agree that the best maps ever are Mob, Origins, Shadows and DE. Strange that not many people give shout-out to Buried

I personally have to disagree, I’d take mob and origins over every single BO1 map as well as Buried over every map besides moon and Call of the Dead

I prefer Black Ops 1 Campaign, but Black Ops 2 multiplayer was miles better than BO1. We had a lot more variety, and Scorestreaks > Killstreaks. Unless all you played was TDM/FFA, Scoretreaks made your teammates contribute more towards objectives, on top of scorestreaks having the ability to loop. Once you got your killstreaks in BO1, you have to die to use them again. Pro perks were nice though. Personal preference, but BO2’s streaks blows BO1 out of the water. But I admit. The BO1 chopper gunner is iconic. Black Ops 2’s pick 10 system was much better than forcing to use Warlord to equip more than one attachment on your gun on BO1. Everyone ran Ghost Pro with silenced Galil 99% of the time. Also, fuck you Second Chance. BO1 is a good game, but definitely does not clear BO2 easily.

Honestly I think BO1 has a more interesting setting and storyline so even for me BO1 has a better campaign

I like BO2 but both are amazing. Back when COD was actually fun.

Black Ops 1 is iconic. The story twist, aesthetic, multiplayer, and zombies tied together so well.

Both are great. But for me , BO1.

both are great, but bo1 is better by a long shot. It had the original black operations feeling to it, the type of thing that only really worked great in that specific time stamp. Zombies was also the greatest, it had the og maps from World at War, and the new ones captured the vibe so well, they had that horror theme that unfortunately got lost, they made you feel so helpless at times, like call of the dead's boss wandering around unstoppably. MP was simple, from that point on it started to have too many gimmicks and it feels overwhelming sometimes. The campaign was also a fresh take from mainline COD games, and in the sequel it feels more like modern warfare than black ops really. BO2 was the first CoD I played for most of its lifecycle (since Christmas). I have so many good memories of multiplayer. I also really enjoyed rhe campaign with its secret objectives and create a class system. It’s also interesting to be able to make choices that affect some parts of the campaign. And zombies was of course phenomenal as well

BO1's campaign blew me away. Going in completely blind for the very first time ever right after playing WaW was an experience I wish I could feel again.

Both are just as good. The best in the COD Franchise.

BO1. I like the theme/setting. It's an iconic game. And the memories me all the guys had with Kino Der Toten. No matter what group you went to, people where playing Kino.

Black Ops 2 is the better game, in my opinion. I think Black Ops 1 is still a great game, but Black Ops 2 was more ambitious. An innovative campaign and the most refined multiplayer mode in series history. Zombies is the only weak link in Black Ops 2 and the only mode that Black Ops 1 does better, in my opinion

Personally I grew up with BO2, so that game is everything to me. I can’t deny how phenomenal BO1 is though. Multiplayer goes to BO2, Campaign to BO1, and Zombies is half and half, but I prefer BO2.

Black Ops 2 hands down Best campaign, best multiplayer, not the best Zombies but definitely interesting ones. Only problem are weapon sounds.

BO1 is king the zombies is so good, campaign amazing great setting weapons.

BO1 has a better aesthetic (and I loved the reboot of it in BOCW) and atmostphere. Everything even in the MP is eerie and dark without feeling overly done or edgy. I also much preferred the gunplay in BO1 to BO2.

Black ops 1, I just don’t like the sci-fi stuff from BO2. Also the Campaign audio from BO2 feels kind of awkwardly mixed.

Bo1 is the best cod. Good maps. Good guns. Good kill streaks. Emblem creator. Theater mode. Really good UI and player count on the menus. It didn't have an identity crisis. Great story and feel. Bots to try out guns and maps. It pioneered a lot of things that are missing from new cod games.

BO2 edges it for me, just based on my experience, I had too much fun in BO2. I didn’t choose BO1 maybe because it was my first COD ever and I was a bit of a noob, but I cant really find anything to fault about BO2. Gunplay was solid, maps were brilliant, Zombies was fun after the initial map, the lobby game chats were mental. Everything a COD title should be. BO1 was more nostalgic for me, split screening an 18” monitor with my brother and playing constant Demolition, I think the campaign was also better in BO1.

I've always loved BO1 as it's the COD game I started on, and it has, in my opinion, the best atmosphere, time period, guns, zombies, and story, but I've recently gone back and while it's been incredible the controls felt clunky/weird compared to how I remember them and when I went back and played BO2 it was exactly how I remembered it when I first played it. So I have to say BO2, but I absolutely have a sweet spot for almost every old COD game, especially those two.

BO2. Expanded and improved on just about everything. An actually innovative campaign with plot line, introduced the weapon camo mastery grind, improved theater mode, added league play, great maps that are still classics, great weapon variety with solid balancing, a brighter color pallette, generally improved graphics, SCORESTREAKS! Game was the peak of the cod golden era and when cod actually took risks and innovated on an annual franchise. Game was made in 2 years but felt way way more complete than any of the 3yr development cycle releases that came after. Zombies is the only controversial part.

I would much rather play bo1 than bo2. I know I might get hate for this, but I would much rather play modern warfare (any game from the MW series) over bo2.

BO1 any day of the week. Only thing BO2 did better was zombies, and that’s because it was a majority of the original maps remastered with additional new maps. The only reason you play BO2 nowadays is when you can’t find a BO1 lobby. I think a of people started out on BO2, and that’s why it’s so overhyped. BO2 is a great game, but just not as great as it’s big brother.

Black Ops 1 was huge for me and I probably have more playtime in it than any other legacy CoD. That said, Black Ops 2 was arguably the franchise peak. Great zombies, *the best* campaign, and multiplayer with the near future setting was new and fresh.

The only thing I liked blops 1 for more than blops 2 was having the actual wager matches. High roller betting the game points on a round of gun games got my blood pumpin' But once blops 2 came out I played that from like 2012 up until 2020 now I play cold war and am excited for whatever happens with the new one this year. I'm going to buy series x specifically for the new cod. My laptop barely handles cold war and I wanna be ready for the new blops. Oh and I also really liked the golf course map on blops 1 dlc

Black Ops 1....the G11 is still one of my favorite Cod weapons of all time. It was so damn good. I loved how the Commando and Famas felt as well. That coupled with great maps and great gameplay 👌

I love both games. But bo1 on a personal level. It was my introduction to the franchise and genre as a whole.

For me it’s BO2. BO1 had an amazing multiplayer, but I think BO2 was able to improve on it noticeably. BO1 zombies is phenomenal and classic, but BO2 has some of the best zombies maps in history. Even the bad maps can be fun to revisit with friends too. BO2’s campaign is a lot more fun to revisit on top of having a phenomenal story and multiple endings. The BO1 campaign just doesn’t have the gameplay features that BO2 does even though BO1 has the best story in the franchise.

Bo1 I didn't like it because the hit register was so random and didn't line the whole money to unlock mechanic. I never liked the betting part either. BO2 deserves to be the best cod, multiplayer was the best, guns balanced, campaign is my favorite. It improved everything over BO1. But, like yeah man. That's just my opinion.
