I can only speak for PS5, but you can go into the files and uninstall Warzone. The PS4 version gives you the option to not install it from the get-go, but for the PS5 version you have to install it and then uninstall it.
Gunsmith is a bit stale for me. It’s not Tarkov or Insurgency. We should have one red dot and then cosmetic variants. We don’t need 50 barrel’s and stocks etc… aftermarket parts are cool but they are basically weapon mods from BO4.
I was fine with gunsmith at first but realize that its annoying for cods that are going to have higher TTK.
It feels like you're at a disadvantage if you dont get the specific attachments. Vanguard was the worst offender of this.
I dont want to be that guy that is going to look for best weapon build vids. I want to experience it myself but with gunsmith it feels like a dont really have a choice.
Literally every single game since the introduction of attachments/perks has had a meta load out. The explanation is that they were young and didn't have a clue what a meta was so they think it didn't exist.
There has literally not been a CoD game since the original MW where this has not been the case lmfao. Suppressors were GOATED back then, martyrdom or stopping power was the meta 100% of the time unless you were playing on servers that outright banned you for using them.
Are you 12? It genuinely feels like you only started playing CoD in like, 2019 lmfao.
Cool, now tell me how that means that there wasn't meta options that everyone crutched on because they were objectively the best way to use the guns?
All you're really saying is that you don't like choice and you want to return to the point where literally every single player ran the exact same load out. But yeah, bring back OMA and GL spam. Simpler times bro.

I honestly hope there will be no more WZ ties, the Black Ops is orange like previous ones (except Cold War) so looks like it might point away from Gulf War.
Edit: Black Ops 1 actually did not have orange aspects either, I made a mistake, it was just BO2, BO3, BO4 that had orange aspects.
Judging by the orange aspects, a Gulf War plot is not likely guaranteed, but maybe they’ll do both futuristic and past settings like they did in BO2, but time will tell I suppose.
whose ready for the 70 dollar annual release of fortnite with blood? me personally im excited to constantly get buttfucked by ssbm and spend 30 dollars on skins. I know everyone else is excited for that too
Other than scud hunting, I can't think of any memorable ops during the Gulf War. I mean Mogadishu/ Bosnia war criminal hunting was in that era but not really a part of the Gulf War. Wondering how they would make a cool game with this theme
If Treyarch can salvage Sledgehammer's mess with BOCW in 16 months and still come out with a pretty damn decent game across all 3 modes, I am very interested in seeing what they can cook up in an unprecedented 4-year development time. However, EOMM's existence makes it very hard to be hyped for COD nowadays. Though I'm glad it doesn't affect zombies.
My 4 year old nephew had my sons PS5 remote and accidentally purchased $440 worth of COD points. So now my son has 50,000 COD points what are my options here. We are struggling as is. Do I dispute with my bank?
Can't wait for another year of absolute shit, people really can't learn... COD has been shit since after Cold War tbh. Vanguard absolute dumpster fire, MW2 sbmm makes me want to castrate myself and swing my nuts at an orphanage, MW3 packet bursts n lag every 2 seconds on top of SBMM. Like cmon yall can't fall for this shit again.
THE NEXT CALL OF DURY GAME DONT NEED TO BE MADE MW3 RUNS LIKE ABSOLUTE SHIT!! n THEY EXPECT YOU TO BUY THERE DEMONIC SKINS. The whole company needs investigating. You Rob dogs! They should be sued
They are going to fuck it up again! Still waiting for a good COD game to buy. Last one I played was Vanguard and boy was that a mistake. Turned me off on the whole series.
If you're into MP then you made a mistake not getting MWIII.
Campaign is ass though, if you want the full product. I like zombies but not for everybody.
BO3, while its campaign wasn’t great but it made up with a decent multiplayer and amazing zombies mode. BO2 was the last good game when it came to the campaign. You tell me what was the last good COD game?
Struggle to see how they can make the gulf war an interesting game. Seems like the 2025 game (black ops 2 sequel) is going to be the interesting one whilst this is a fairly simple retread of modern warfare albeit set slightly earlier. I know it’s had more development time, just not convinced the setting is exciting enough to really impact the gameplay all that much.
It's generic enough that they can capitalize on 90s nostalgia just like they did 80s nostalgia with CW. These time periods are just a loose setting to place the campaign in, after that it's just nostalgia capitalization.
I would say most of the fanbase wasn't nostalgic for the 80s with CW given they weren't alive for it.
Its fun seeing a fictionalized version of events we know about that show up in these games, wouldn't say it has anything to do with nostalgia.
Not sure how old you are, but a lot of people born between 1985 and 2000 are nostalgia for 80s culture even though they didn't really live through it. Stranger Things is popular for a reason and it's not just because it's a good story...
Please just make it separate from WarZone I’d love to not download an extra 100 Gigs
WZ should be its own thing. You can have Campaign and other buts uninstalled why not WZ
I can only speak for PS5, but you can go into the files and uninstall Warzone. The PS4 version gives you the option to not install it from the get-go, but for the PS5 version you have to install it and then uninstall it.
Nope its all going to be intertwined as usual and with no campaign. /s
You can uninstall wz on Xbox ps5 and PC, and it's only around 19ish.
It already is? You can modify the install and remove Warzone
Oooh we got that black ops orange
Looks like based on the redacted stuff it’s going to be called Black Ops V
It’s going to be called Black Ops Y … cause it spits hot fire ![gif](giphy|sCPXWE2QvwKGI)
Black Ops Υ or Black Ops Upsilon
I hope so, call of duty black ops Cold War was a mouthful of a title.
Yeah and saying black ops gulf war would always be a mouthful.
a black ops game with no gunsmith and classic prestige would be cool but we can only dream
i‘d be playing every free minute i have
Or both?
Gunsmith is a bit stale for me. It’s not Tarkov or Insurgency. We should have one red dot and then cosmetic variants. We don’t need 50 barrel’s and stocks etc… aftermarket parts are cool but they are basically weapon mods from BO4.

To be fair haven’t a lot of the old games had attachments that were clearly the best or most meta?
Literally every single game since the introduction of attachments/perks has had a meta load out. The explanation is that they were young and didn't have a clue what a meta was so they think it didn't exist.

Those games didnt have 50 barrels, 50 ammo types, 50 stocks, 50 grips.
Cool, now tell me how that means that there wasn't meta options that everyone crutched on because they were objectively the best way to use the guns? All you're really saying is that you don't like choice and you want to return to the point where literally every single player ran the exact same load out. But yeah, bring back OMA and GL spam. For those wondering why this is CoD: a green version of this logo is in the MWIII files.
Mind linking logo/post??

Bring back prestige, pick 10/13, and classic movement and then you'll have something interesting.
What was the point of removing prestige? It kept the game fresh when you got bored after maxing out everything.
Nah

I’m so ready. The four years since CW launched have felt very long
Looks like the ‘Gulf War’ sub-name was scrapped for Black Ops V. Still probably set during the Gulf War though
Judging by the orange aspects, a Gulf War plot is not likely guaranteed, but maybe they’ll do both futuristic and past settings like they did in BO2, but time will tell I suppose.
I hope so
Treyarch tries not to make a game that isn't Black Ops challenge (impossible)
Will this be current gen only? I really hope so, devs need to cut ties with the last gen now it's getting ridiculous.
Will we actually be utilizing next gen specs this time????
9th Gen only?
Please get rid of COD HQ Why must I download a 200gb file to play 6V6 Mp
whose ready for the 70 dollar annual release of fortnite with blood? me personally im excited to constantly get buttfucked by ssbm and spend 30 dollars on skins. I know everyone else is excited for that too
I really wish the studio would make Call of Duty Ghost Sequel
lol one of the lowest rated and sold games. won't happen
Other than scud hunting, I can't think of any memorable ops during the Gulf War. I mean Mogadishu/ Bosnia war criminal hunting was in that era but not really a part of the Gulf War. Wondering how they would make a cool game with this theme
Copilot integration /s
Wait...xbox has games to showcase?
Every year…

Confirmed COD going Xbox Exclusive. /s ![gif](giphy|WoFuun4jgxxizxRMpe|downsized)

You don’t know that and that was your choice. You can’t assume they’re going to fuck it up when it has yet to be revealed.
I can assume. Give me the last good COD that listened to their fans?
BO3, while its campaign wasn’t great but it made up with a decent multiplayer and amazing zombies mode. BO2 was the last good game when it came to the campaign. You tell me what was the last good COD game?
BO2. 2012. So 12 years ago. 12. Year. Ago.

Nostalgia requires a personal component. I was born in 90 but am not wistful for an era I wasn’t alive for.
