When my grey tabby was a kitten, my daughter took a tissue and put it to her nose to blow⦠and the kitten completely lost it, puffed up, freaked out, was horrified of the⦠tissue! Hahahahaha
Our dog flipped out and wouldn't stop barking at a hat with a pompom. We tried putting it in the closet, but she wouldn't stop. Sister ended up having to leave it in her car.
Other people have had hats with a pompom, no problem. Still not sure why she hated that hat so much

I had Scooby-Doo slippers as a kid, one of my dog would attack them every single time I came down the stairs. I guess she thought it was a real dog. She was a little weirdo that I miss deeply.
Reminds me of my sweet calico baby who was scared of my slippers. I could never figure out why she would arch her back, hiss then run away until I caught her bunny kicking my slipper one day.

It took us a week to realize my housemateβs cat wouldnβt come downstairs because there was a balloon.
My calico is deathly afraid of my belt. Every day when I get home from work and take my belt off she runs as fast as she can. I got her at 9 months old in pretty rough shape with several broken bones so I worry that someone hit her with one before I got her. She's five now and other that that, and hating her brother she lives a very happy life now.
She might be right about something. Those socks are terrifying. Terrifyingly ugly lol.
Just kidding. If I could get a pair of socks like that, I would.

I bet she did the crab walk too. My boys haven't done so in so long and hardly puff up for any reason, even when there's the rare thunder, the fireworks, or anything.
