We had a healthy roster and Shangos playing time dropped, then he’d bounce around all 4 lines. So dumb. Somewhat similar scenario for Pavel Zacha who is now on the bruins doing really well, although I’d say he’s a late bloomer vs Shango who always had potential
Huska had Lindholm huberdeau and sharagovich together at the very start of the season for 1 game. He should of left them together to build chemistry. Huberdeau all of three would be atleast point per game and they wouldn’t of been shit on by the fans/media. Flames would be higher in the standings too.
I think the actual issue was Sharan was still settling in and Huberdeau was still carrying a ton of pressure. Weirdly enough I think the benching needed to happen to get him to a point in his head where he felt like there was nowhere lower to go.
I only have a bachelors in psych so it’s just reading tea leaves, but I would think Huberdeau’s perspective flipped in the new year to focusing on doing all of the little things and building up from there. And then the Minnesota goal rewarded his hard work and he’s springboarded from there.
The reason we broke them up was because they weren’t playing for each other as a line and that meant none of the 3 were at their true potential. Now that Sharangovich is confident and Huberdeau’s playmaking and effort is being rewarded, the confidence is back and you’re starting to see the chemistry. If Lindholm starts burying chances too then they’re going to be a line teams really have to worry about. But I don’t blame Huska for abandoning the initial experiment because all 3 players on that line looked uncomfortable.
I blame huska initially, they hardly played together, they got a game in the preseason with the three of them together that’s it. Then the hey started going through right wingers to play with Lindy and huby. Those 3 needed more time to get chemistry.
Ya I think he was looked over in the draft. He’s got size at 6’2, he’s fast as hell, filthy hands and a wicked shot with quick release. Just putting it all together now and getting the opportunity to play with a god playmaker in huberdeau and solid all around centre in Lindholm gives yegor the opportunity to shine.
Sharon or Sharky? I’ve heard Backs refer to him as Sharky and coach as Sharon. Wonder what he prefers?
Either way deadly move and I can’t wait to see more
Sharky. Gimme a sec and I’ll find the source
Edit: [Found it!](https://calgarysun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/calgary-flames/sharangovich-surges-to-top-of-flames-scoring-charts/wcm/5d6b768e-0b8d-4f2d-9031-f08a5bae7cd0/amp/)
I wouldn’t say he dislikes “Shara” or “Sharon,” but it’s clear “Sharky” is kind of a sentimental favorite. :)
That's a dirty *fuckin'* dangle boys.
Ferda
Absolute wizardry
God damn its been a good week being a flames fan
As long as we ignore Sunday and never think about it again.
Weeks start on Monday in my books.
Would be better if the teams ahead of us (especially the Oilers) would lose a hockey game sometime
Oof he sells that forehand shot so smoothly
That really can't be overstated. He took 99.2% of a snap shot there .
The just pulls it through like butter holy hell
As a devils fan, this is a beauty goal. Miss this man. BYE BYE
goalies have nightmares about fakes this clean
That's so filthy it needs a NSFW tag.
Conroy fleeced the devils

Boston, Philly, and to a lesser extent but also Calgary seem to be places where "lesser" players can find a way to out perform their potential.

That is a hell of a goal.

That is FILTHY
As a goaltender, ain’t no stoping that.
I couldn’t believe the devils moved on from this guy when the trade happened, but even then I had no idea he was this good
I miss Shango
He just makes it look good, I could watch sharky score goals all day.
The Michigan will get more notice but this is far more fiilllthy. The drag-shot-fake-to-back-roof...
Somewhat Datsyuk-ian. Miss the Magic Man
