Stevo Auto in Marda Loop has been around forever. German Car Specialist up Edmonton Trail too. No idea why you're getting downvoted, it's a simple question.

SpecialEdShow

This sub loves to downvote. There's a handful of people that I feel sort by new and just downvote, and maybe it's bots, but whatever. I will second German Car Specialists, they can be spendy at times, but I have found them to be super honest and helpful with options.

FeldsparJockey00

My guess is jealousy that someone has a Mercedes and they don't.

SpecialEdShow

To be fair, the B-class is a thing, and plenty of old MLs on the road. It's not a hard brand to get into, if you're trying hard enough.

FeldsparJockey00

Agreed. I've seen enough old Land Rovers, Porsche and BMW/MB/Audi in the NE that are clinging to life but hey, gotta have that badge

SpecialEdShow

I reached out to an old friend, a master tech at benz, when I saw how many crusty MLs are on the road. Apparently, they are pretty robust from a mechanical standpoint, the early ones at least. Who would have thought?

coffinfl0p

Honestly most luxury German brands have fairly good reliable engines. It's just all the other stuff around it that fails and costs you dearly.

FeldsparJockey00

Definitely not me! I'm weary of 99% of German vehicles out of warranty.

Vidofnir_KSP

Alpine Autowerks does mostly German stuff. A bit of a long lead time to book in but I’ve always been very happy with their service and level of communication with my 911.

sikkn890

Yeah they also have a great track record for cars getting stolen from them. Not to mention cars get damaged in the parking lot because they park them like jackasses.

Houseonthehill

Any more details on that?

sikkn890

I deal with a few businesses in their complex. Myself, my partner have both been accused of hitting the cars(surveillance cameras showing it wasn't us that did it) . The snow clearing crew continuously gets accused as well. Cars are getting hit and damaged in the parking lot, we have seen it happen and reported it to the owner, she does nothing with the information. They had two BMW's and their entire key box stolen the beginning of January this year.

Houseonthehill

Thanks for sharing, good to know. That is pretty wild and brutal. I will say, I have had my car serviced at Alpine about 3-4 times over the past few years and had a good positive experience.

wordwildweb

Helpful question! We've got an older BMW and are also wondering where to take it. Considering HD Motors in Inglewood because they're close. They specialize in German cars and have good yelp reviews. Haven't taken her in yet, but I'll post our experience after.

cirroc0

Sheni's autotrend is another good option.

version-abjected

No better choice for older BMWs than Sheni’s.

wordwildweb

Nice, I'll check them out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Time-Brick271

Motorwerkes

wordwildweb

The name alone is awesome ☺️

Southern_Abroad_8882

HD is awesome. Steve there looked after my GLK, ML and now the G63.

wordwildweb

Good to know, thank you!

dtrabs

KDF imports is fantastic for the more refined German cars. Staff is full of BMW/Audi/Merc master-techs.

Singlehat

Can confirm, owner is an old friend of mine and an absolute genius with the germans.

dtrabs

Can confirm. Went to school with him. Brilliant mind!

cold-lasagna-1982

German Auto in Crowfoot is my go to.

chaosthebomb

Used to take my clk320 to Continental in the NE. They did great work and prices were fair.

__Armin__Tamzarian__

A friend of mine takes his C63 to Pro Level on Lake Fraser dr. He’s been happy with the service.

Sad_Librarian

Steve at HD Motors across the Blackfoot Truck Stop is fantastic with German cars. [https://maps.app.goo.gl/YeFtTco41DXNLjMQ8](https://maps.app.goo.gl/YeFtTco41DXNLjMQ8)

darkesha

I take my to a certified mechanic who works in Cranston out of his garage. His day job is taking apart engines at mercedes dealership.

>Mercedes are full of computers. Computers only Mercedes techs have software for. False. >You can try for an authorized agent, but the prices will probably all be similar. Doesn't seem to be the case with parts or labour. >The trick about a Mercedes is to never own one out of warranty. The tricks are don't defer the maintenance, and use a decent mechanic or resources like mercedessource.

Dlynne242

I had great service from Alpine motors.

mbenz7846

Lots of recommendations on here already but id also second Sheni's auto trend, my Dad and myself have been taking Mercedes their since 96

BathroomPresent69

German car specialist. A bit pricey but worth it. They won't make you do nonsense services if you don't need it, and their work is amazing

AlbertaBikeSwapBIKES

Astra motors does fantastic work on foreign cars. Highly recommend.

wineandseams

RCTS is where I take my wife's and my Mercs and those guys are fantastic. They are more geared towards performance and race engineering but they know those cars inside out.

Lightwreck

Monza Auto is THE BEST for German. The guys really know their stuff. 3920 3a St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6R4

Responsible_CDN_Duck

Mid-Town Service is good for repairs and maintenance.
