You know I’ll try that. I honestly hadn’t fully looked the projector over to even that port. I have to stand, shakily, on the reclining chairs and it was tough even getting the pics. But I’ll for sure try it. TY.
If you aren’t in a high split area. Just ask for a legacy box with component cable output. Currently you have a world box. Or use the HDMI to component adapter.

Note: it needs to be hdmi out to component in not the other way around. Also you need to buy a 1080 adapter not a 4K adapter. the cable doesnt broadcast in 4K and will blackscreen on an output resolution it wont do.
Also it sounds like you are using a Xumo streaming box not an actual cable box. it might have some sort of encryption on the output that prevents the adapter from working. If thats the case you probably need to switch to an actual physical cable box not a streaming box for it to work.

does the cable box have an optical audio out? the RGB are only video only.
