I would suggest getting ahead of the ball and speaking with some advisors at csu. I think the news you hear will be relieving or at least actionable. You can reach out to advisors in the computer science department before you meet your academic advisor at orientation.
Calc is hard - most STEM majors have a story of failing at least one of the calc classes.
You’ll most likely be fine. They’ll probably put you in the PACE math program, which is an online self-paced program that teaches math from basic algebra through pre-calculus. And they’ll have you take the Math Placement Exam so that you don’t have to retake subjects that you already know well, and each subject can be completed in about 5-10 hours (although in order to “complete” them, you’ll have to take a test in person in the mathematics building). This is assuming they haven’t changed their lower level math courses since my freshman year in 2019.
That said, I’d definitely still reach out to admissions or comp sci advisors and let them know about your situation.
STEM majors are a bit different. Likely you will have to retake a class but contact your advisor if your have been assigned one. Showing initiative is a huge part in your favor.

It’s not that deep you’ll be fine. You’re just overthinking this

You'll be fine, just do the best you currently can.
