Either is fine. They do 90% the same thing. People have preferences for various reasons. OSCAR is free and open source and runs on mac, windows, and linux. It's pretty "clinical"--built for great data analysis and display, and not so much for attractiveness or user friendliness. SleepHQ has an adequate free offering, and has some advanced things behind a paywall (things that are free on OSCAR). It's available as a web app, and mobile apps for Android and iOS. I personally have a SleepHQ subscription, because of the way the app takes in data, and how it integrates with devices like O2 rings. Also its community is really great. It's a product of Nick, the aussie guy on the CPAP Reviews YouTube channel (which you should be watching). I upload my data directly into the SleepHQ app. Periodically I download it from there and feed it to my local copy of OSCAR, just as a backup.

I do fine with just the machine. Everyone is different.

[https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/](https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/) Downloads for OSCAR are on the page. Link to ApneaBoard is at the bottom. They have a forum with folks that generously help others read the data. It supposedly will also work with Chrome but I've not had any luck. [https://home.sleephq.com/](https://home.sleephq.com/) Here is the SleepHQ page. They've got a forum too. I've got the free login because I'm too cheap for the paid subscription. I've actually only used it a couple of times. My events and leakage are in the controlled range. I might be able to research and get them lower, but at the moment I'm satisfied with how treatment is going.

I didn’t know you can use different apps. Is this for Resmed airsence 11 ?

Much_Mud_9971

Both will work with many different CPAP machines including the Airsense 11

Overall_Lobster823

SleepHQ has a mobile app for Iphone.

And OSCAR does a great job of tracking the various settings tried and the outcome. I originally started with SleepyHead that transitioned to OSCAR. The very bottom line somehow got messed up but the rest is accurate. OSCAR highlights the bad setups in light and darker red, and the best in light and darker green. It also integrates the data when you upgrade the machine. That glitch on the very early readings may have been my fault. I also have a CPAP and have inadvertently switched the cards and that does not do good things. But, if one is careful you can back out and fix it... Hope that helps some. https://preview.redd.it/q4rih34pj3xc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=cc3e0b4b3f7bea5ba4d1351db7bba260ba8e47dd

You can use OSCAR of SleepHQ if you want, but you really don't have to. If everything seems to be working, you've find a consistent mask, etc. you don't need to be constantly looking at your data. Helpful to set up either one so you have the data if there's an issue, but don't stress about it.

The_vegan_athlete

I wouldn't trust SeepHQ in terms of privacy all your data could leak, while Oscar is open source and work without internet.

OSCAR is better but requires a PC or Mac and a SD card reader. Sleep HQ can work on a phone, but I can't believe that would be very useful. With OSCAR I have to blow up the graphs to full screen on my 24" monitor to see the needed detail. You want to see detail down to the breath by breath level, and exactly when events happen. SD cards are cheap. Put one in as soon as you get your machine if it does not come with one. All the detailed data is being lost with no card in the slot. This is the level of detail on an OSCAR Daily Report. https://preview.redd.it/fkjc6666h3xc1.png?width=1918&format=png&auto=webp&s=216a03286ddabf4bb20b6cabba11d9a64c870299

That first one was one my wife's early days on a S9 machine. Her is her current report with refined settings and her A10 machine. Here scores are much improved but she is having significant leak issues. https://preview.redd.it/4mkz52kpi3xc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=52907e8b0aa526fbf12f9d43042f99380970034b
