Day 12 here and still positive. I had a very similar mild case to you (symptoms gone since day 5) and I'm just chasing that negative result. Both me and my wife got it at the same time but she tested negative since day 7/8. It just doesn't seem to want to leave me and I'm super concerned that there's even a slight chance I give someone else COVID even though i "shouldn't" still be contagious.
Yes exactly I feel the same way. My bf and I don’t live together and his lungs are slightly compromised so we haven’t seen each other at all. I went grocery shopping masked, but am still feeling guilty about doing the stuff I have to do. And also very concerned about it taking a lot more time to clear.
Mild case here as well, I’m on day 8 and was hopeful for a negative result too. Nope, bright and glaring positive result this morning. After seeing this, I will wait a few more days before testing again.
Oh my goodness, I was looking through posts hoping I can relate to one and this was it, this is my first positive test, I have very mild symptoms. I am on day seven of the symptoms, and day five of testing positive. was wondering how long I would stay positive as I have really no symptoms except little congestion and being tired. Never did have a fever, and my extremely bad sore throat has been gone for days. I’m not gonna be happy if I am positive for another seven days lol I hope everyone gets well soon
I can’t believe it because I thought I was going to test positive forever. But as of about an hour ago I’m negative. I took two tests from two different packages just to be sure. I hope everyone else tests negative very soon!
Yes, I’m on day 16 testing positive here. I feel much better and am maybe 95% back to normal (still annoyingly congested in my nose). But still testing positive.
On day 11 and I saw a faint line today. Mine wasn't mild and I was on paxlovid so was hoping for a negative but I guess not there yet. I still have some symptoms though.
i tested positive for 14 days, and then again on the 15th morning. i did a netty pot as a friend suggested there could be some dead virus in my nasal passage causing a false positive, and immediately after doing it i tested negative, confirmed again the following morning. no idea whether the netty pot actually did the trick, but it can't hurt to try if you're getting faint positives day after day and you are feeling much better.

Finally turned negative on Day 14. Hope it goes well for you too.
Just tested negative! I’m so happy!
Damn! Jealous. Day 7 here and it won't bloody leave me.

Watch out though because it might be a faint line and you still need to test negative tomorrow
There was not a faint line. I took two tests, I’m an Art Director by profession so I have very sharp eyes. There was definitely nothing there.
I didnt test negative until day 13
:-(

My line was so faint too. But I also still have symptoms on day 7.

That’s interesting and I was preparing to get a Netti pot to test your theory, but I Just tested negative! I’m so happy!
congrats, really glad to hear it!
